T Riccoboni Asphalt Paving

Tim and crew came at 7:30 am, left by 4 pm and the new driveway was in, everything cleaned up and ready to go. I was able to use my driveway the next day, but I waited another day (chicken). I like how Tim re-graded my driveway to make it easier for me to drive up. I waited a really long time to find the right company to do my driveway. Tim's company was the right company for me. And probably for you. Tim is gruff and rough around the edges, but don't let that put you off: this is the company for you. And, whatever you do, tip the workers. Please, please: these guys work their butts off: the least we can do is buy them lunch, offer them a bit of "gracias." You never have to tip the owner, but count up the workers and decide how much --10? 20? 30 apiece. It pays off -- you never know if you'll need a company again. Thanks.

In a word; Excellent. Tim, as well as his workers, are extremely professional and friendly. I give them my highest recommendation.

From start to finish, dealing with Tim was a pleasure. We had several estimates and quite frankly, Tim's was at the top in price but so was his knowledge, effort to please and performance. You get what you pay for and working with someone you trust is priceless. He works with a mason that did a beautiful job on the boarder and new sidewalk. It has rained and NO PUDDLES! Thanks Tim.

I called Mr. Riccoboni for an asphalt driveway estimate . Timma called the next day and came the following Saturday for an estimate. He removed my concrete driveway and gave me an asphalt driveway. He and his crew are very knowledgeable , professional and so likable. Timmy recommended Mason, Jose Pereira . Mr. Pereira did a phenomenal job. Jose is meticulous and has an eye for what "works" with pavers. He is an artist and did an elegant job.

Timmy and his crew were wonderful to work with again! He called me two months after he did the initial work . . . As he had projected :). The driveway came out beautiful! In fact, someone drove by as he was packing up and stopped to look. She was sooo impressed with how great the driveway looked that she asked for his card and said she would call him to do hers! Timmy and his crew are "measure twice, cut once" people! Not only was the driveway completed to perfection, but they filled in the part of the street that was missing AND left the garage broom clean ;) You couldn't find a nicer, more knowledgeable or more professional person to work with! Mr. Riccoboni had given me a quote over a year ago and I could not proceed at that time. He honored that quote this year. He showed up when he said. Due to unanticipated findings after ripping out 2 old asphalt driveways and 10 inches of concrete underneath, all unbeknownst to either of us, he had to wait for hotter drier weather to complete the job. He kept me apprised and always returned my call the same day. Further he pulled out the basketball backboard and post as my grown up kids no longer use it - no extra charge. Overall an excellent experience. I'm very happy.

1. We had clay underneath the original driveway, so we were only able to have the RCA laid at this point and now need to let it settle for 2 months before asphalt can be applied. So, we are not complete yet. I do want to rave about Tim, the owner! Tim is truly an outstanding professional in every sense of the word! He gives each driveway his personal attention and does what needs to be done to achieve the best result possible for each driveway! He not only knows his business, but he is a man of integrity and kindness! A rare and refreshing combination in today's world! We are sooo grateful we found Tim through Angie's List! 2. Tim brought us to another outstanding professional for the bluestone porch and curved walkway as well as the cement apron for the driveway! Joe also not only knows his business, but is also a man of integrity and kindness! He showed me a variety of bluestone at the supplier so I could show him what we liked. He selected such beautiful pieces the next day that gave us the most beautiful pattern to give us exactly what we were looking for! We feel sooo fortunate to have found Joe through Tim! Both of these professionals took the time to assess the unique situations and challenges of our environment and developed a plan to meet them! They both exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend this team to anyone! They are the "dynamic duo"!!

Timmy the owner came by to give an estimate the very next day. Very honest gentleman. I have a very high water table where my driveway is locate it. I am at the bottom of the hill and get a lot of water during heavy rain. If you dig a one feet in the ground, the hole is full of water within 10 minutes. I had a few people come to give estimates. Nobody really took the time to inspect the property to resolve the water problem. The pitch of my driveway is towards my house. I am always afraid that water would come into my garage and in the basement. Two of the gentleman who came to give me estimates told me to put a drywell in the center of the driveway to resolve the water problem. Timmy took a look at my property and told me Removing and replacing asphalt driveway was not going to work out for me and definitely there is no point in putting drywell, since the water table is So high that it will be full of water to begin with. I finally decided to put pavers. I really appreciate Timmy's honesty. Even though it costed him the job since he does not do pavers, honesty is his best policy. These days it is hard to find such honest contractors. I wish he installed pavers, then I could have hired him to complete the job

I just decided not to go with flat top because of all of the cracks.

It was a great experience. Jose, the masoner, who works with Tim is an artist. His workmanship is second to none. The asphalt work was done by Tim and he was extremely easy to work with. We are thrilled with the final result!

Tim and his crew were honest, professional, and accommodating. Tim took the time to answer my questions and provide great advice on the job. He worked with me to help get paperwork done, and when it was time to do the work, he showed up on time, got the work done quickly and the results were perfect - I have a great looking driveway. I would hire Tim again in a heartbeat, and in fact a few neighbors asked for his business card after seeing the results. Hire him if you need this type of work.

Tim, his team, and the masonry person he works with (Joe) all did an excellent job. It took me some time to decide what we wanted to do in terms of replacing our driveway, back patio, and front walk (concrete vs. asphalt vs. pavers), who to go with, and what we could afford. I must have emailed Tim at least 20 times inside Angie's List to get information so I could make an informed decision. Tim was very patient and answered all my questions, and we ultimately decided to go with him, and I'm very happy that we did. We ended up replacing our old asphalt driveway with a new one (removed and installed by Tim and his team), with a paver border, a paver front walk, and paver back patio, all installed by Joe (he also replaced the brick steps to the driveway). Once I decided to go with Tim, he and his team were at our house within 2 days to remove the old driveway and put down the base. Then he contacted Joe for the masonry work. Joe is a one man show - he ripped up the concrete back patio and front walk by himself, and installed all the pavingstones himself as well. Despite the hot weather, he worked non-stop and finished EVERYTHING in a week. It was impressive, and he did beautiful work. A week later, Tim and his team came back to put down the asphalt - our driveway looks 1000% better! I had received a couple of other estimates - Tim's was in line with the others (right in the middle, actually), and based on his excellent reviews on Angie's List, I felt confident that he would do a good job (and he did!). I also have to complement Tim for being an honest businessman: he had given us an estimate for the masonry work, but the actual bill ended up being somewhat higher than he said. I just mentioned it to him (NOT complaining, because Joe did such a nice job), but he helped correct some of the charges. Nice to work with an ethical person. Thanks, Tim! After consulting Angie's List, my husband and I choose Riccoboni Paving to repave out ravaged, 400 foot driveway. Mr. Riccoboni was totally professional and explained each step in the process. He and his crew worked in blistering heat to finish the job in a timely fashion as promised and they paid meticulous attention to detail. After having lived at our location for over 40 years and having had several driveways over that time, we have never experienced a completed job such as the one as Mr. Riccoboni gave us. As our neighbors told us, "The road is a work of art".

Tim and his crew did a great job on our driveway – removing the old crumbled one and replacing it. The Belgian blocks on the edges also needed re-setting. It was a difficult case because it is nearly level between the garage and the curb, and it was tricky to make it sure that when it rains, the water flows away from the house and not into the garage. But we had a heavy rainstorm since then, and the garage stayed totally dry. I’ve even gotten compliments on how good it looks.

Tim did an excellent job. He was timely, responsive, fairly priced and clean and professional. Tim was at the job both days directing his crew. He has an excellent belgian block installer he works with who did a fantastic job. We are very happy and would hire Tim again.

Tim and his crew did a thorough and careful job. Our driveway was particularly challenging since it is rather flat and is lined with belgian block (which also needed repair), which makes drainage more of a challenge. I can say , after the rain of the past couple of weeks, the driveway drains well. He is on the job everyday and available to explain everypart of the project..
