Tim Riccoboni responded in a timely fashion for my request for an estimate. He did not rush his estimate visit and gave me enough time explaining what needed to be done and answering all my questions. The work was also scheduled in a timely manner and completed as per the estimate. Tim was onsite working and overseeing the complete job. I'm totally satisfied with the work performed. They left my property as they found it, only now improved with a new driveway!

The driveway job was completed recently. So far I am happy with the results. After getting the job scheduled, I had to wait a while to complete it due to other jobs they were doing, but pricing was reasonable and the work on the day of the job was completed on time and took care to leave the property neat and tidy.

I am very pleased with Mr. Riccoboni’s work. He spent time to assess my situation and provided a recommended solution using his years of experience. Our driveway has approximately a 10-degree incline. Over the years, we had 3 driveways installed. None seemed to last. Tim explained that if all my contractors used a roller, (which they did) they did the wrong thing, as the asphalt will not roll evenly on an incline. He said it is better to use a power tamper so the asphalt will have an even thickness throughout. He came to the job site on time and worked with his staff using the tamper to produce a high quality even thickness product. His staff was polite and worked quickly and neatly. It was hard to tell they were there. I highly recommend T. Riccoboni Asphalt Paving as Tim loves his work and wanted to help me. He maybe a little more expensive, but he is worth it.

Tim and his crew did a GREAT JOB! They were on time, worked neatly, and tested the driveway to ensure proper water runoff. Also they laid down protective covering over my brick apron to prevent damage. I interviewed two contractors for this job, On his proposal form, Tim provided a recent customer in my town where I could check out his work. His customer reviews were glowing. I paid a higher premium ($800 more) for Tim's services over the other contractor and to me it was money well spent. Tim Riccoboni worked right with his team of three men from start to finish. The job went well. Tim was responsive, showed up on time and prepared, and finished as scheduled. Even a neighbor walked by after the original driveway was ripped up and the new bed put down and commented on how good a job it was.

Gave us an estimate two years ago but timing was not good for us. Estimate seemed reasonable - plus no up front money required. Payment on satisfactory completion. This combined with Angies list review we knew he was our guy. We were ready to proceed last year but needed to get Belgium block apron and edging done first and mason ( Jose Periera who Tim recommended) was not available so another year passed. Tim was very patient and understanding of the delay (no pressure). He clearly wanted job to be done right, to our satisfaction and not rushed. We had the Belgium block work done two weeks ago and today Tim and his crew arrived 7:30 am as scheduled. They carefully tore up the old asphalt, put new stuff down and hauled away the old asphalt to be recyled. His crew did some more prep and finally rested briefly under a tree until he returned. Within two hours or so, he returned with asphalt to put down. The entire crew jumped into high gear and worked steadily and carefully until all was done around 4 pm. These guys know what they are doing. The photos on Angies list are no joke - Tim is a hands on owner (operates the bobcat and other trucks). Very pleased with the process and end product. We highly recommend him, his crew and Jose who did a great job with the Belgium block. Thank you Tim and Angies List.

Tim and his crew are all special...and their job performance is exceptional. I had a 6 year old driveway that was being held together with sealer. The asphalt mix was horrible from day 1 and no amount of effort to have the contractor correct the deficiencies was successful. I got 3 estimates to re-do the driveway, and Tim's estimate was easily the highest, but rather then go with a larger outfit, after speaking for a while to Tim, I trusted that his work would be worth the premium. As it turned out, it was. Driveway is oddly shaped and on an incline, so all work had to be done basically by hand. Crew was efficient, professional and a bunch of characters....the hotter it got the harder they worked. Tim was there the entire time...working.... driving the truck, running the front end loader etc. The finished product looks great, and I'm confident it will be around for a long time. Choosing a contractor isn"t always easy....and speaking to to a salesperson who's only interest is selling the job can lead you down a wrong path. Tim does the estimates himself and then is on the job the entire time. If you're interested in a high quality result, Tim is someone you can trust.

As good as it gets. Tim responded almost immediately to set up an appointment to assess the project. He gave us a reasonable quote on the spot. The work was schedule for about a week thereafter. It took a day to chop up and remove the old asphalt. The subsoil was soft, so he postponed the installation of the new material for 3 weeks. That was an inconvenience, but necessary. Once the time had passed and the ground was hard enough, the new asphalt was installed in less than a day. In all cases, Tim and his crew were prompt, pleasant, industrious and professional. If I ever need the work to be done again, I will certainly call him.

An excellent job that has stood the test of time. Multiple problems resolved. Years ago a sewer pipe that ran under our driveway had to be replaced. The contractor who repaved the driveway after the repair did not do competent job. Within months, a depression in the asphalt appeared following right above where the trench was dug to reach the sewer line. The same contractor had previously repaved and widened the driveway a few years before the sewer line burst. Tim Riccobani pointed out another depression that was just starting at the top of the earlier driveway expansion. The previous contractor ----who is probably better described as a jack of all trades----- should have advised us to allow a year to pass before repaving to allow the soil to settle. Tim said that the Belgian blocks edging the driveway could be retained and wouldn't need to be replaced. The crew leader literally spent hours on a vibrating roller to make sure the soil under the depression was fully compacted. The sub soil under the top of the expansion contained clay which should have been addressed in the earlier repaving effort. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. A professional crew with decades of experience doing a professional job.

Ripped up my very large asphalt driveway (was 2 layers thick) and added base material. Did a beautiful job on the new driveway. Tim and his crew were experienced, hard working and pleasant. Dealing with Tim was like speaking with a nice good friend. Every concern was explained and addressed. The driveway is everything I wanted. Jose the mason did a great job on the apron, new stoop, and Belgium block border-flush-no problem of tripping. I found Tim's price comparable to other contractors.

Removed the old blacktop surface(30 years old) and carted away. We discovered the base underneath was wet soft clay and must be partially removed and replaced with a base material. This needed needed to compact/harden before resurfacing. Tim Riccoboni came when I called and gave a reasonable written estimate of resurfacing but warned of additional cost if base needed replacement (it did). He returned all phone calls promptly, set date and time of work and appeared as promised. Tim was easy to talk to, informative, knowledgeable, honest and experienced. The additional three man crew was friendly and hardworking. They did a very neat and clean job and left NO mess. The asphalt was rolled smoothened flat with attention to water drainage(toward the street and away from the house). A really nice finish and appearance. I was very happy with the finished driveway and would recommend him to anyone.
