Tim was a pleasure to deal with. He came out when he said he would, told me if I was doing my roof to do that first, and then completed my large circular driveway while I was out of town. What a pleasure coming home to my beautiful new driveway! He knows his trade and doesn't cut corners. I would highly recommend Tim for your paving needs.

From estimate to job completion, the experience was a breeze. Owner Tim Riccoboni is straight-talking, personable and professional . Tim returned my initial call in a timely manner and was able to come by for an estimate in just a couple of days. From past experiences with other contractors, just getting a returned call can be a slow process, let alone getting a date/time for an estimate. Tim made me feel at ease talking about the job and different options . I believe it was the very same night that he called back with the actual estimate. Tim was there on time to start the job, fully involved with the actual work, every step of the way. I was also looking to have some masonry work done and Tim recommended someone he knew ( turns out they were also highly rated on Angie's List). Tim and crew were prompt, efficient and cleaned up at the end of each day. There were a couple of unexpected surprises along the way (unsuspected clay underneath the concrete which required deeper digging and more base but Tim stayed with the initial estimate and ate the extra cost. I was extremely pleased with my new driveway and my neighbors are all complimenting me on how great it looks. Job well done Tim and crew!

The job went as planned for the price estimate quoted. The quality of the job was impressive. The business owner, Tim Riccoboni, was on site for the estimate and the actual work. Tim was a straight shooter. The job went exactly as planned for the price estimated. We were treated with respect and all telephones calls were returned in a timely manner. The price for services provided were very reasonalbe. I would most definetly recommend T. Riccoboni and will use him again in future.

My driveway was rutted and had holes in it. The large surface in front of the garage was not level and water ran into the garage. The owner T. Riccoboni came to do the estimate and won me over by coming up with cost saving suggestions that two other companies were going to charge me for. His base price for the work was not the cheapest, but his detailed explanation of what he would do to solve my problems was just what I needed. I don't mind paying more and getting more value for my money. Instead of installing a drain pipe in front of the garage he suggested that since I also planned to replace the gutters (something he did not do and would not make money on) when doing so, he suggested I connect the gutters on the far side of the garage which would then drain away from the house. He also assured me that he would pitch the driveway so that all rain drains away from the garage. In addition, everyone else giving an estimate wanted to remove and replace my Belgian Blocks at a cost of $2,500 to $3,000. He said it was not only unnecessary, but would probably not help since the alignment was off because of tree roots which could not be corrected without hurting the trees. He said he would try and fix the alignment of a few at no charge. He came with his team of workers and did a fantastic job. What impressed me most is that the owner Tim Riccoboni was there working shoulder to shoulder with his four other men. Yes, he directed everything that was being done. But he also worked alongside of them every step of the way. It is unusual in this day to see a long-time company owner sweating it out with his workers. His follow up was also unique in that he checked to make sure that everything was okay several times. As a company owner myself, I can't tell you how much I appreciated his attention to detail and to explaining everything. I highly recommend T.Riccoboni for all paving needs and wish he did other things as well.

He was very early and prompt, very professional and did a really great job.

Tim came and gave me an estimate to replace my gravel driveway with a new asphalt driveway. The gravel driveway starts two cars wide at the garage and narrows to one car wide at the street. I wanted the entire driveway to be 2 cars wide. Also replace my gravel walkways with asphalt. He was concerned about how the driveway would come out because the pitch of the driveway was actually towards the garage. He said he would have to remove a lot of dirt to get it to pitch towards the street. He came about a week and a half later to do the job. He removed a lot of dirt to get the driveway to pitch towards the street. He found two large stumps underground that he had to remove because they would be under the new driveway. When he started working on the walkways he found that under the gravel and dirt was a thick concrete sidewalk. He had to remove this too. He did all of these unplanned extras without charging me more. The driveway and walkways came out fantastic! It makes the whole house and property look so much nicer! Tim might be a little more expensive than the other contractors but he's well worth it. You will get a superb job!

Tim personally called he day I left him the first message and gave me an estimate for our driveway expansion and resurface project the following day. He had my Belgian block work completed within 5 days, did the excavating work the following week and finished the asphalt work perfectly once the weather cooperated . Absolute top quality professional with an exceptional team. Tim is exactly the type of contractor I was looking for and thanks to Angie's list I found him and we now have a beautifully finished and functioning driveway. Thanks Tim!

We had gotten Tim through Angies list and found out he was a local businessman with an excellent reputation.he came to the house and I showed him what I'd like to have done,he made his recommendations and gave us choise's on what to do.tim and his crew are pure professionals.they did a great job,they did the work when they said they would and at the estimated price.from start to finish to was a positive experience,I would recommend him to anyone needing his services.

We got Tim's name off of Angie's list and he was the only asphalt company we contacted. He came within 2 days to give us an estimate and we liked him immediately. We were comfortable with his price and decided to use him. He came to do the driveway four days after the mason had completed his work. Tim and 2 other workers came and completed the job within 6-7 hours. The driveway looks great and we are happy with his work!! Tim is a really nice guy and his work is amazing!

I never thought I could get excited over a driveway, but my driveway looks beautiful and I couldn't be more satisfied. After deciding it was finally time to replace the old, cracked asphalt driveway, we contacted three different companies to evaluate the job and give us an estimate. Tim Riccoboni was the third person to come and I knew immediately his was the company I wanted to hire. While the estimates were all in the same ballpark, Tim was just a nice guy who I felt I could trust. He is an easy going, down-to-earth guy and I just had the feeling the job would be done right. And I was right! Tim and his crew came and removed the old asphalt driveway and leveled everything out soon after we hired him for the job. We were then able to have some decorative brickwork done by another contractor prior to having the asphalt poured. When Tim returned to put the asphalt down, he found that the heavy rains had really softened the ground on part of the driveway where the gutters drained. Rather than pour the asphalt as planned, Tim recommended we wait to let the ground have a chance to dry out and harden, and also that we move the gutter to drain away from the driveway. After a drying out period, Tim and crew came back and poured the asphalt. The driveway was completed and it was done beautifully. I am very grateful that Tim took the time to do it right. He could have poured the asphalt sooner rather than later, but instead he waited and came back another day to do it. It took a little while to complete the job but the finished product was well worth it and this is not the kind of job you can rush through if you want it done right. No response to three telephone messages left. requesting an estimate. No estimate, no opportunity for potential hire.

This was a smooth transaction start to finish. I started out getting a number of estimates from the higher rated contractors on Angie's list. All got back to me promptly and all were professional. For the most part the estimates were all the same except for one that was $1,400 less. After checking out some of the completed driveways it was obvious the lowest estimate was not using the same quality materials. I went with Tim for a few reasons. 1) He was friendly and easy to deal with on the phone and in person 2) He explained clearly what he would do (this continued as he did the work) 3) He was the only one who was replacing a retaining wall at the end of the driveway. A note here: I built the wall 27 years ago and asked each contractor to see if it needed to be replaced. It was built out of 2X4 pressure treated wood and still felt solid but it was 27 years old and a lot of it was underground. I expected all to tell me it needed to be replaced. Tim was the only one I think who really checked it out (my wife kept asking me why he was banging around with a hammer when he came to do the estimate) and his estimate included replacing it with the new Belgium block border. The other estimates were in the same range and did not include this extra work. 4) Tim had done work in my area 5) The Angie's List reviews were real positive I am glad I chose Tim. It went that smooth. They showed up on time. The work was done with care. The cleanup was better than expected.

Timmy is fantastic to work with. He is very available by phone, arrives when he says he is going to, gets the work done on time and estimates accurately. My husband and I are very pleased with the end product and wouldn't hesitate to hire him in the future.

Tim Riccoboni arrived at my house at 8:00AM on l0/9/12 & finished repaving driveway at 3:00 PM on 10/9/12. He & his team worked with unusual skill & with attention to every detail to make sure that the driveway was installed properly. The result was a driveway that I found to be beautiful & functional. Tim was very punctual in giving me an estimate. Some other companies that I called did not even show up or even call back. I got four estimates and decided to go with Tim. He was the only one that I could find who had no complaints against him. He was honest and straight forward in telling me what had to get done. Great personality. The belgium block work is top notch and is true as can be. The road is as smooth as silk. I have no standing water anywhere after a rainstorm. His crew was polite and extremely neat. It was a big job, 175 feet of road, 350 feet of belgium blocks and a six car driveway. He started on time and completed on time. Best contractor that I have ever worked with. Actually the only contractor that I was ever satisfied with. Thanks Tim for a job more than well done!!!!

These guys did an excellent job from soup to nuts. They went above and beyond to make sure the driveway was put in the right way (the original one was a botched job).I highly recommend them.

From the time I contacted Tim until the end I was extremely happy. My driveway has never looked better.

Starting with the quote the overall price was lower. I had received quotes from other companies, that although lower per square foot, the total square footage was padded, thus the overall price was more than Tim's. Tim arrived on time at the job, this team worked in a neat and orderly fashion. Tim was on site for the entire job, in fact he operated all of the equipment and supervised all the worked performed by his men. They are very conscientious and respectful of your property, covering the garage, etc. Clean up was thorough. I have already recommended Tim and his company to my neighbors. It was a pleasure to finally work with a company that was actually doing the worked that was quoted and they were also extremely nice to work with.

Tim is a Master craftsman asphalt driveway builder. This is all he does and he knows it inside and out and he has been doing it for years and his dad did it before him. If you ever feel you know better just wait and you'll find out he was right. I did. I learned something too. He knows what he's talking about and has the experience and skills and knowledge to back it up. He's very professional, friendly, a perfectionist with his trade, easy to talk to and ask questions of, will work with you on all constraints, will explain to your full satisfaction whatever you don't understand, and a very honest and a very decent human being. These qualities are rare in contractors and trade professionals in these days of taking the money and running off without completing the job. It's so nice to meet a true small business owner with just a few employees who loves what he does, is great at it, and goes beyond your highest expectations. We, as the customer, had no headaches at all from beginning to end. That alone is worth its weight in gold. I called, he answered, we made an appointment, he showed up, asked our requirements, took measurements, and we discussed different options back and forth. We decided on what we wanted. He gave us a written quote. He explained the process clearly and when where how why and what he would do. I made some changes, he didn't complain, just worked the new numbers and provided the new quote. He scheduled dates, came in with his crew and his trucks and equipment and worked his magic. he didn't sit around and supervise, he actually worked. They all worked tirelessly and continuously and did the first part of the job all in one day. We then waited for a few weeks as the new base settled in. They returned and again worked hard and finished completely as promised. We had a big concern of water sitting in pools on the old driveway, so we checked how the water was running down the new driveway and out onto the street and it's never been better. Their cleanup was also excellent. They put the yellow tape up at the entrance. He even helped us out with something not related just because he's such a nice guy. He never asked for any monies while the job was ongoing. He didn't ask even after it was complete and we signed off on everything. So now we have a great looking brand new high quality driveway which will last for years and years. Great job, Tim, and thank you for making it such a pleasure.

First day preparation involved outling the damaged areas with a hot tar "tack coat". Then filling in with NYS approved filler base mix and compacted with a driven roller. This took from 7am to 2pm the first day. The second day involved laying down the asphalt to the damaged areas and again rolling and tamping (to remove lines left by the roller) The edges were then sealed with hot tar so that there was as a seal both top and bottom. 7-2:30 this day. All in all a great job and a pleasure to do business with. If you have asphalt work to do, we highly recomment Tim.Keep in mind that if you hire a comany that does multiple categories of repair they will be a Jack Of All Trades but Master of none. Tim is the Master of his trade and this is all he does.
