Description of Work: Wanted to redo a small roof. They showed up and seemed very pleasant and gave me an estimate. I asked for a confirming email listing what would be done. I called back after not receiving anything and asked again and made sure that they had my info. Never received any response.

 + -1 moreThis was an exceptional first time experience and I will always contact them for any work within their scope. They started the following day with a significant number of workers and removed all of the shingles on the house and I had decided to also do the garage roof. This is a two family house with a lot of mini roofs along the sides of the house. It has a lot of detail. Within one day and a half the work was done and I had a new roof which looked great.. The outside was totally cleaned at the end of the first day and at completion. They kept to word and what I thought would be an horrible experience, was actually not difficult. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation. Their work ethic is excellent.
Description of Work: William and Hugh both came and examined inside the house where water was in the bathroom ceiling. They went into the attic and did see some moisture. They then went on the roof and informed me that the roof was in very poor condition and needed to be replaced. This is a old house, 90 years, and there had been roof repairs. However, they informed me that in order to put on a new roof, they had to remove three layers of shingles, which was not supposed to have been done. I did not know anything about roofs and did not know about the three layers. It was explained that if I did not replace the roof, they could do patch repairs but could not assure how long it would hold up. I appreciated their detailed explanations and I never felt any pressure. They were very professional from start to finish. When I purchased the roof inspection deal, they contacted me promptly, and they came to do the inspections within two days based on my availability, at the agreed schedule time.

I've had a leak in my patio doors for a long time, and he was able to figure out where the water was coming from. He also did a detailed inspection of my roof, and was explained clearly what the problems were.

 + 0 moreHugh investigated the source of a leak we were having and discovered many possible causes. He noted that the best solution would be a new roof, but to minimize the costs he could do as much patching as he could do and hopefully seal up the source of our leak. He pointed out a few shortcomings of our roof including the lack of proper flashing on vents and chimneys. Hugh also pointed out that a previous sealing of two unused brick chimneys had been compromised since it was done and gave us a good price on redoing those. He took multiple pictures to illustrate the problems and was straightforward and answered all my questions thoroughly.
Description of Work: Checked for sources of a leak. Tarred all visible damages on roof. Tarred two chimneys.

 + 2 moreThe team was at my house on time and evaluated my roof, and they were able to start right away. The owner did not try to upsell me, rather I believe he gave me an honest evaluation of work that was needed to maintain my roof until I am ready to do a replacement. The entire team was courteous and went above and beyond, even removing extra wiring and antennas that the former owners had deserted on the house. I really felt that I could trust the team to only sell me what I needed and I think they did a great job. I'm actually planning to hire them again very soon to do some stone work around my house. I'm grateful I've found my trustworthy go-to contractor and I'll recommend them to anyone needing roof / gutter work.

He was prompt, professional, well-prepared, and answered all of my questions. I signed the contract and he returned the next afternoon to power wash the exterior of my home and then on Monday, August 4th to paint it. A true professional, Hugh would not accept any payment until the job was completed and I was satisfied. I couldn't be happier with his work! My home looks fabulous and I highly recommend him!
