He came and spent a couple of hours here. It was a difficult job but he got the freeze issue resolved. He was marvelous. He has done various jobs for me over the past 8-10 years and I think he is great.
Description of Work: My pipes froze because of the weather and he came out for my emergency call.

Danny ultimately knows what he is doing. However, he needs to prioritize better and communicate better. I have a feeling that he put off our job and then had to scramble when Sandy resulted in a shortage of boilers. I would hire him again but would really nail him down on timing.
Description of Work: Replaced our boiler and converted to gas. Removed tanks.

We called Matt when our downstairs neighbor reported getting water into his unit. We left a message with his office and got a call back from him within an hour. An appointment was made for the next morning at 8:30. Matt showed at 8:30 exactly and got right to work. He went through every possible place that the leak could have been coming from and discovered the problem. It was fixed right away. He also spent some time making sure that other areas were not having any problems so that we wouldn't have to worry any time soon. He spent 2 hours making sure that everything was in good working condition. I would recommend his services to anyone.
Description of Work: Matt came to our house and found the source of a leak that was also affecting our neighbor's unit.

Knowing that we are "under the gun" on timing, Matt has made efforts to provide the work in a very timely manor, he made a special trip to turn off water and install a new water meter needed for our sprinkler system (by others). He has been helpful and responsive, he returns calls and makes himself available by cell phone. His price was a bit better than my other estimate. My only issue is that we were told by a plumber friend, that he use the most inexpensive piping allowed by code, using ABS and Pex pipes instead of PVC and the little copper that he used was of the thinnest type. It passed inspection, but we would have appreciated his offering to us a price to upgrade to quality materials so that we could have decided if we wanted to go for quality, which we would have done.
Description of Work: Rough and finish plumbing for renovations in a 100 year old house. including, adding and hooking up existing gas lines for stoves and dryer. Hooking up two kitchen sinks, relocation of plumbing for fixtures in a bathroom, switching location of shower and toilet.
