Very well. John has done excellent work, was very responsive throughout the process, and we look forward to coordinating with him for future work.

It went great. He showed up, saw what needed to be done and started working. John also went above and beyond to help move a few things and fixed something that wasn't in the scope of the project.

We recently bought a new home and needed a several jobs completed. John responded quickly to our call and greeted us with professionalism. The estimate John gave us was fair and well documented....everything spelled out in black and white. The following week Mr. McGuy sanded, spackled, painted, built a palet wall and completed the entire "punchlist" in a WEEKEND......yes, a contractor that is willing to work on a weekend! We give John McGuy an A+......our new home is not only neat as a pin and totally updated.....it's all up to code! Thanks John!

Just moved to a new pad. Was rebalancing the oven when hours later, the smell of gas was all over. Called O&R. Turns out the gas valve to the oven was old & needed replacement, & the flex hose was leaking. After calling a few providers, found John's company on Angie's List, and within 20 mins., he and an associate were in the kitchen checking out the job. An hour or two after that, they were able to give a very affordable, yet fair estimate (for the landlord), and he sent someone over to complete the job. Everything was seamless. They're easy to talk to, cool & chill, but knowledgeable, quick & precise. Already recommended JSM to friends and family. Thx John & co.

Ours was a small job and very few remodelers wanted to tackle it. John McGuy was fine with such a small project. He and his crew were professional, courteous, and prompt. They provided excellent workmanship and offered recommendations where they thought we needed guidance. John's project length estimate was dead on. John and his crew also worked hard to accommodate our schedules. The crew cleaned up after themselves after each work day. We would recommend John and his team highly.

John told my husband he was going to do the job, and that he would email us and estimate. My husband reached out to John several times and he did not respond. My husband even said to john if you do not want to do the job please let me know so I can find someone else before it gets busy. No reply. Unprofessional.

Provider had to do the removal of the deck and replacement in stages due to weather. He kept me in the loop the whole time and his staff was professional and cleaned up the entire area. I would recommend this provider to all my friends and family. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

The job went extremely well. They worked within the hours we were closed and kept the place neat and organized. The job was completed before the projected date & looks amazing. Myself &the company I work for couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the job & the overall professionalism of John & his workers.

I hired "JSM Home Improvements LLC for my new house in Feb 2015. The renovation was completed as scheduled, Interior Painting job - good work as expected. Hardwood flooring - bad job really, the new wood floor make noisy when walking on it. The contractor still said is normal, and foot molding fell apart after job completed in couple days. Never come back for repair. Repair jobs - problem is still there, but it charged. Never come back to complete the job Full Service Interior Cleaning (charge additional $425) - we found dust everywhere after the completion. Overall, the painting work is pretty good as expected with high-end products (Sheri Williams). But other works are totally disappointed. When the balance is paid off, the contractor disappeared and never come back to finish the job.

This is the second project I have hired John to do. He renovated my kitchen in May 2015. The bathroom was finished in 8 days which was very quick, when faced with a challenge John came up with creative and high end solutions. Final product is top notch!

John and his workers were punctual and professional. The estimate for how long the job would take was accurate. The flooring was completed on the first day. By the third day everything was done and the bathroom looked beautiful. They did a remarkable job on the walls of the room. They cleaned up thoroughly when the job was completed.

John and his co-worker did a great job on my kitchen . They were on time, and to get the job for me done in one day like he said he was going to, John and his co-worker ,worked non-stop from 8am till almost 9pm . The backsplash came out exactly how I showed John how I wanted it from a picture . I would recommend this company to anyone and I look forward to using them in the future. After so many bad contractors doing terrible work on my house it was nice to finally have someone come to my house and give me a timetable and estimate on the work I needed done and actually follow through on what they said they would . The best part of the job was how clean these guys worked , after all the tile they had to cut and all the dust that was made you would never know they were there after they left . These guys get an A++ from me . Thank you

My experience with John from JSM improvements was nothing short of spectacular. His professional demeanor and courteous crew made me feel comfortable, immediately. They were kind, punctual, and extremely diligent. My old deck was such an eye sore, so to have it ripped down and cleaned up so quickly was such a relief. Once the new deck was ready to go, they had it up and beautiful in no time. They worked hard, they worked clean and always were respectful and mindful of my family and property. John is an extremely professional contractor. From start to finish, John was dedicated and attentive which enabled the project to run smoothly. His work was impeccable, and it shows how passionate he is about his workmanship. John was flexible and able to work with my very busy schedule. He promptly returned phone calls and was very caring in answering any questions that I had. The demolition and removal of the old deck was done neatly and quickly. I would absolutely hire John for any other project for my home. I completely recommend John to anybody who is looking for a true professional craftsman.

John and his crew were polite, professional, and clear about their intended work plans for the given day, or week. The job progressed as expected, and I was generally happy with the quality of the work taking place in the kitchen, as well as on the porches. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail, and with the level of precision with which the team prepared and installed the molding and trim-work. Corners were tight, no seams were visible, and the top-notch installation of the crown molding took the finished product from great to excellent. In a day and age where anyone can go into the nearest big box store and hire an 'installer' to perform a job for $99, it was reassuring the see John and his crew work with such commitment to their trade.

They responded promptly to our request for a quote and fully explained the work that would be done. The crew arrived on time, did a very good job, and completed the work in the time frame estimated. Thanks again John! :-) We are so happy!!

John completely gutted and renovated our old outdated kitchen and did a fabulous job. He bent over backwards to get the job done in a timely manner, even though we have "quite hours" in my building, when we are not allowed to have work done. Although, it was an obstacle because John seems to work all day and late into the night, he made sure all his work was done between 9am-5pm to avoid any problems. His insight in design was also important because we didn't realize we wouldn't have drawers if the cabinets were all the 12" to fit our narrow space. He tweaked our kitchen design to allow us to have some drawers, which also provided us more cabinet and counter space. He was always friendly, and professional.

It was pleasure working with John and his team. John is meticulous, cleanups were done several times a day to keep the work areas clean. John was on site every day to direct and oversee his workers who worked well together, were very respectful, neat, and, most importantly trustworthy. John understood my budget and time constraints, worked within them, was a valuable resource for materials, problem solving, and creative ideas. He was flexible so that when I had a few "afterthoughts" mid-project, he was able to work them into the schedule, finishing on time. He understood my vision for the finished project and overall I am very pleased. and will work with John again on additional renovations.

JSM was great. I had issues with the countertop fabrication (by others) and JSM accommodated us. He was very communicative and responsive. The work looks great. I'd hire them again.
