After the rough winter, we encountered some soft spots on the eastern facing section of our roof, along with some minor leaks at the gutter. I contacted Tom, who got back to me very quickly. Tom came over the next day and performed an inspection of the roof, including climbing up onto the roof. This inspection found some damage not visible from the ground. Tom provided the options for repair and offered his recommendation without pressure. The pricing was reasonable and each step was clearly laid out. Tom and his crew did a great job and I'd definitely call him again for my roofing needs.

Honest, and quick and excellent response. Needed roof repair/replacement. Mr. Jannace did not try any high pressure tactics. Reviewed work needed, carefully explained problem, and took time exploring options/materials to be used. I received 3 quotes, and Tom Jannace Roofing was by far the fairest price. I bought this deal,He promptly gave a response that due to inclement weather he is little backed up and need a little more time , I initially said ok, and then when the water started to leak a little, i had to call my insurance and the roofing company from insurance took a look.

We were very happy and would call him again if we ever need his service. His price was not low or high. It was fair and honest. He was knowledgeable regarding roofing and professional. I would recommend him to friends and family.

What can I say about Tom that hasn't been said already? He's a gentleman to work with, a knowledgeable professional who takes time to explain every aspect of the job and make sure you're 100% satisfied before he leaves. He has a good crew, Mike, Ed and the rest of the guys, who are attentive to every part of the project and work well together. When you give Tom the responsibility to do the work you can rest assured that it will be done correctly. He will also follow up to make sure all is good after the job is done. He is always on call if anything else arises. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. PS. The roof looks great.

Tom's crew arrived and began work promptly at 8:00am. The job took two full days. Tom was present each day to supervise the work. Clean up was excellent.

We were impressed by Tom's knowledge and professionalism before the job began. Of the roofers that gave us estimates he was the only one that actually got up on the roof....in the rain! He and his crew arrived on time and did a wonderful job. The old roof was removed, all the debris was picked up and hauled away. They were very careful not to damage any of the trees or shrubs. We could not even tell that they have been there except for the beautiful new roof. Great job!

I initially spoke to Tom on a Friday afternoon at the beginning of a holiday weekend. I was impressed by his concern about whether or not the roof problem required immediate attention. After he determined that the repair was not an emergency, Tom came the next day to provide an estimate. He was professional and knowledgeable. Tom explained in detail what need to be done and promptly returned phone calls. When Tom came to do the job a few days later, he did wonderful work. Everything was left neat and clean. I also appreciated the time Tom devoted to finding the right shingles to match the original ones on the roof. It was a pleasure to work with Tom and we would definitely use him again for our roofing needs.

I called Tom Jannace the week of 7/22/13, asked if he gave free estimates, & when he said yes I explained to him that I had a leak in my den & would like an estimate for a repair. He said that he would come to my home on 07/29/13 & would call to let me know what time he would be here. He did not call or show up on that day. Two days later, on 07/31/13, he called & said that my name had been "misplaced". He apologized & made arrangements to be here on 08/01/13. He immediately called back & said that he had an doctors' appointment for that day but would come to see me on 08/02/13, between 1 & 2 pm, but would call first. I certainly did not expect that he change that appointment for me---his well being is more important than a job. Well, Tom did not call & did not show up on that day either. That phone call on 07/31/13 was the last time I heard from him. I really don't like giving this kind of review, but perhaps it will help if this companys' representatives act in a more courteous & professional manner. 09/04/13---After he read my previous review, Tom came to my home & left a note for me apologizing profusely for what had transpired. He explained that he had a personal family problem & was not able to focus on his business at that time. I do appreciate & accept his apology. If I ever have another roofing problem I will certainly consider calling Tom Jannace.

I was totally impressed with his honesty! He could've told me I had to have a new roof right away but he was so honest and helpful!

From the moment I first contacted Tom I was impressed with him. He is professional but also a real people person. He is interested in you and your project and it is obvious that he truly enjoys what he does. He gave me addresses of jobs he had already completed so I could see the quality of his work as well as see a particular roof color that I was contemplating on a house. He brought samples to me and advised which of the colors I was interested in would be better for my home. He was indeed right on the color. My job involved removing two existing roofs and installing a new one as well as replacing the leaders and gutters. Tom's team arrived on time and completed the roof in a day and a half. The new roof looks beautiful. The leaders and gutters were installed a couple of days later by a company he uses and I am very satisfied with their work. Tom's price was right in line with other estimates I received. I went' with Tom because of his caring, friendly manner and the pride he obviously takes in his work. I was not disappointed. He was a true gentleman throughout our contact and I would highly recommend contacting Tom if you have any roofing needs. It was a pleasure working with him.

I never recommend a roofer until a few big rainstorms have come and gone. Now it can be told: Tom Jannace is the best! He gave me a free estimate, did the job in one day, was extremely nice and courteous, and followed up. He is a totally stand-up man: a craftsman and a gentleman.

Wanted to replace my roof due to age and aesthetics. Contacted several roofers and decided upon Tom Jannace Roofing. Tom personally met with me and explained the process in detail. His price was competitive. In addition, he has a long tenured team who has worked for his company for many years (quality and pride in there work). He was extremely knowledgeable and recommended the best quality materials. The biggest selling factor was that I dealt with him during the entire process (excellent communication in advance, during and after the installation). At the end of the job, he personally scoured my property with his son to remove any small remaining debris and to conduct a final inspection of the work performed. Very positive experience. Highly recommended!!!

Tom and his son came by today and did and excellent repair. They removed my temporary patch I had done right after I had the trees removed from my roof that came down during Sandy. Tom removed the damaged shingles and replaced them with new ones. His work was very professional and he cleaned up when done. He even inspected my entire roof and found no additional damage. I would definitely use Tom Jannace Roofing again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
