Henry and a partner re-roofed a portion of the house (a sunroom). They ripped several layers of old shingles, replaced all rotten plywood, installed architectural shingles of my choice, and cleaned up perfectly. The roof was re-done just before the storm and seems to be doing well. Price was very reasonable, they both were pleasant and cordial, and the work was completed in 1 day pain-free and in a professional manner.

I left messages on both numbers and did not hear anything back.

.I am very pleased with the work. I hired Henry to transform room into a kitchen. He put in a new floor,cabinets, water lines, and 220 outlet for stove as well as painting the room and a bedroom. He also put in a new bathroom including the walls, door, tub, sink, toilet and vanity and ceramic tile floor. In addition , we added a new septic system for washer, dryer and bathroom. I am very happy with everything that was done but more than that I always feel that I can depend on Henry, the owner of Home Magic Renovations to answer my questions, give me a fair price,and get back to me when I call him. I recommend him highly.

Magic always took pains to protect my property whether it was inside or out. Dust and debris were promptly removed. The true test were the results which my wife and I would classify as excellent. I have never had a problem with Mr. DeBoer or his company:prompt reliable and professional. Simply the best.

I called him and I think within a day or two I heard from him and he was able to come out right away. I am actually at this point putting off doing the bathroom remodel. I am in no big rush to do it. I think I will hold off a little bit. I have got a few quotes, and I haven’t picked anybody. I want to go out now and pick out all the fixtures and tiles and get that all set before I actually get somebody. I would consider using him when I am ready; in fact, I just got home from work and there was a message from him saying that he hasn’t heard from me, so I might call him back or send him an email and tell him that I am putting the remodeling job on hold for now.

Henry and his partner Fidel were excellent. Clearly they pay every attention to detail possible and my wife and I are extremely happy with how everything turned out. Without a doubt we would use Henry again for other jobs around the house. Originally we had decided just to replace the leaking tub and surrounding wall but after some consideration and Henry's very fair pricing we decided to splurge and get the entire bathroom redone, something that badly needed to be after many alterations over the years. The first day they started by completely gutting the bathroom down to the studs and didn't cut any corners - something that was very important to us. By day two they installed the 'shell' of the bathroom - the boring stuff: piping, cement board, green board, electrical work, etc. When they eventually reached the tiling we saw how nice the work was going to turn out. A guy from work had told me his contractor didn't like to use tile spacers because they hampered how quickly he worked...not only did Fidel use tile spacers to make sure everything was accurate but they worked extremely quickly and the overall design that my wife and I came up with came out beautifully. Henry made sure to explain everything to us every step of the way in order to make sure we were happy with all the choices, and we were. Now that everything is completed - and it only took them 4 and a half days - we're very very happy with how everything turned out. While we chose middle tier accessories, the craftsmanship is so well done it almost makes the bathroom feel out of place in our small home. Somehow we only came across one little snag throughout the entire process. There was a tiny leak in one of the pipes that was dripping maybe 3 or 4 times a day into the basement. When we brought this up to Henry a few days later he immediately came over and fixed the problem. I honestly wouldn't even bring it up because of how small of an issue it was, but I think Henry's promptness in fixing the issue is worthy of being brought up. Personally I will go to Henry with any and all future jobs we have. It doesn't surprise me one bit to see how well he's rated here, he does an excellent job and is very personable. I highly suggest you do the same and have suggested Henry to many friends and family.

there were a few product related problems that came up but, Henry solved all problems to my satisfaction......the deck looks great!

Henry De Boer and his helper did a wonderful job on our bathroom; we are very pleased and we plan to use him many times in the future. He keeps a clean work site and pays close attention to detail and he doesn't get upset when we would add on another task. His problem solving skills are excellent; I feel that he could make any job come alive. We supplied about 90% of the preference items (cabinets, sink, tile, etc.) We very highly recommend Home Magic.

I called Henry Deboer for an estimate on repair work to my aged and leaning garage in Manhasset NY based off of reviews from angie's list. With Henry, the estimate was reasonable and I got exactly what I paid for. I had gotten a number of other estimates from professionals with great reviews, but Henry actually took the time to assess the possibility of repair as opposed to demolition and rebuild (which I wanted to avoid because of my town's building's dept). I wasn't looking for a remodel either, since it was an old garage. I was looking to straighten the garage and keep it from crashing down on me while my car was in it, or even myself. So the estimate was right up against my budget and the repair to my garage was what i was looking for. I was a little concerned over the concrete floor looking patchy and not smooth, but it was a lot more level than it was previously without pot holes and cracks. At some point i might repave it with concrete if floor tiles don't successfully cover it up. Henry guarantees his work which is very reassuring. He also completed his work in the window of time he promised and without incident. Overall, Henry was extremely pleasant and did a fine job and I plan to use Home Magic Renovations again for future carpentry, restoration work around my home, once i can afford to do so. I highly recommend this business for your next home project. Thanks Henry.

Everything went well. As with all the other jobs, we left Henry and his crew showed up when scheduled and went to work until the job was done. On other jobs that took several days, the house was always left neat and clean. I have had no trouble trusting them in my home without my being there.

I've have always been happy with their work and professionalism. I will happily use them again on any future home projects i may have.

This is the second time I have used Home Magic to paint my house and was very pleased with the work. The first paint job lasted nearly 10 years. This time around we completely changed the color scheme of our house. Henry and the his crew completed the job on time and on budget. We had some minor roofing repairs, door alignments and window replacement extra work performed during the project. The overall added cost to the project was minimal in my opinion however, its the little things in a job that sometimes pay huge dividends. Henry is a skilled handyman and never fails to provide a creative solution to pop up problems. I would definitely use Home Magic again for a project.
