SDS Tree & Stump Removal

It's been a week. No response of any kind.

It was actually quite s large job and I was very impressed with the reasonable price and professionalism of the company. What a crew! Like busy bees in a hive with all the specialty equipment you could imagine. All worked feverishly til every last leaf was picked up! They used buckets to reach the high trees and had trucks and grinders and log removers that looked to be in great shape to finish the job. They took extra care to put boards down to avoid tracks in the lawn. They all obviously knew exactly how to do all aspects of tree removal efficiently and safely. I really was very very impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone. Got my estimate easily and set up schedule easily. They were very agreeable to some extra things again at a reasonable price. This company was a gem to find on Angies's List and I couldn't be any more pleased! All the guys were pleasant and as hard working as I have seen. Arrived at 7:30 and worked for four or five hours. A five star company!

Called Scot and he came the next day for an estimate. We chose him because He had a portable stump grinder and would not need to drive heavy trucks on our lawn. He honored a 10% off Angie's coupon and saidwould be a couple of weeks and he would call. He called before two weeks Were up and came the next day . They did a great job cleaned up the area . I would contact them Again no hesitation

Scott came and gave an estimate which was good in comparison to others that I had received. We had talked about trying to get it done before the ground thawed, and he called the following week the night before. He and his crew got here around 7:15 and went right to work. The tree was cut into long log lengths (10 ft plus) lifted over the house. In retrospect, I probably could have negotiated price a bit better in that these logs were going to a saw mill. They were finished by noon, stump ground out, yard raked, etc. Overall the job was very well done, they had to lay these logs down in the street and did not obstruct traffic at all. The tree wad down by 10. but because of a bad bounce, some damage was done. to a fence surrounding dog yard. However, they repaired it immediately. Other minor damage was done by crew members trying to move items that were frozen in the ground (they neglected mentioning it, although I had noticed it), some minor scraping of a shed when limbs, etc were taken/pulled out of the yard. Do be there, do pay attention, do ask what will happen with your tree. But Yes, would most certainly would work with them again.

Trucks and men arrived at once. There were several trucks, one with the bucket to reach the top branches, another with a grinder, another with hook to pick up large trunks/branches, and more. It's been a few months but as I remember, there were at least six men working in sync. They took down 4 old large trees that had grown in a clump. There was constant activity. They cleaned up very nicely. Minimal ruts in my lawn that I will take care of. It took about 4 hours. In addition, they trimmed branches above utility wires on side of house. They responded quickly to my request to trim a little more. Everything was done to my satisfaction and I would call SDS again.

Received a call-back same day of original contact, and scheduled an estimate the next day. Arrived on time, heard and saw what work was desired, gave a reasonable estimate, and was able to sign a contract on the spot, for work to be done in three weeks (due to jobs already scheduled). |As stated would do, called a couple days ahead to arrange a mutually convenient day and time for the job, for which they showed up on time with all necessary equipment (bucket truck, chipper, covered dump truck, small log mover hauler, stump grinder, and a six-man crew. The three-story Norway Spruce, two-story dead white pine, and third smaller cherry tree, all next to the house and fence, were sectioned and removed without incident in spite of about a foot of snow cover on the ground. The stump was ground down and cleanup was done in a very satisfactory manner, all in the span of two hours. They were fast, efficient and very professional. I would not hesitate to use this tree service again.

It was excellent. They were so good. They cleaned and they were just very good. We were very satisfied. I was really pleased. They were reliable. They knew what they were doing. The crew worked well together. It was a good price.

Took down a large 50'+ old tree and cleaned up a couple of others. Although they had a full schedule, an opening came up and they offered to complete the job that day. Even though we weren't home, they performed the work per the estimate, ground the stump down flush to the surrounding lawn, and cleaned up well. Very few traces left, no damage despite close proximity to the house and utility lines. Small company, but would recommend to others, and use them again ourselves.

Scott was professional, punctual and efficient. His work was exemplary ; I will never use anyone else for tree services.

everything went excellent. These guys were punctual and all worked together to do the job. They work like a well greased machine, they anticipate each others moves and move in to help each other or wherever they are needed. They were entertaining to watch, we stood in awe and watched every move and when they were done you would not know anything was done, they cleaned up after themselves and there wasn't one thing left to pickup. Wonderful job.

SDS was wonderful! I got an immediate response the day I called them, and had an estimate by the next business day. They were able to remove my trees within 2 weeks, whereas other companies told me I would have to wait several months for service. They also had a lower price than the other 2 companies I had estimates from. SDS showed up on time, removed the tress, debris, sawdust, etc. They even went in to my next door neighbor's yard and raked up leaves and debris that fell on to their side. I only have great things to say about them, and I will definitely use them again in the future.

They arrived on time. Cut and removed trees. Had the equipment needed (cranes ,bucket truck, branchipper,stump grinder,etc) to perform the work without doing damage to wires and house. Hauled away the logs and did clean-up leaving only a few ruts in our lawn. Work was completed in a very timely manner.

These guys are amazing. They work fast and and their quote came in at 50% lower than some of their competitors. I would definitely use them again.

They gave an estimate and showed up when they said they would and left a written estimate with me. As soon as I knew I was going with them, I called and they made arrangements as soon as possible and came when they said they would. It went great, the people doing the work were very professional and helpful and asked me questions and introduced themselves and when finished cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend them. They did a great job.

Team arrived at 7am and immediately began work in the front and in the back of the house. Scott had all the approprate equipment. His team never stopped working. They worked quickly picked up all wood and left everything very neat. We were very please.

Scott and his guys were great. From the estimate to the finish...their service was professional and overall outstanding. They were on time and on budget. I'll be calling them back in the spring to take more trees down. Thanks.

They were very professional from beginning to end. They arrived on time to provide an estimate. When the crew showed up to cut the trees, they were on time and had all the right equipment. they took care to protect the lawn and cleaned up after they were done.

Scot and his team were very professional, right from the start and I highly recommend them!! It started when I called to get a quote ...Scot returned my call quickly and came out within days to give me a quote. I had had several companies come out to give me quotes...he was the last one and by far the most reasonable. I told him he had the job! He told me upfront that he was working off a list so it might be a few weeks but he would place me on the list immediately. True to his word, he called me to let me know I was moving up the list and it would be about 3 more weeks. Scot called me about a week and a half prior to the date to tell me when they would be out to do the work. He said they would be there at 7:30 am and they were. He said it would be a few hours and they were in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. They were efficient, neat and professional. I can't say enough good things about this experience...Scott and his team were the best! I'm very please with their work and will be using them again in the future.

SDS was fabulous. We were very pleased with the price. They were able to come even earlier than they had anticipated on the day scheduled.There was a crew of about six men. They literally converged upon the place, and in a few hours had finished and cleaned up. Brian ran the crew, and was very personable and accomodating. Each man immediately got to work doing his job, and together they made an extremely smooth, efficient operation! The owner, Scott, stopped by twice to check things out. All of the men were hard- working gentlemen. They even took extra care to move lawn furniture, bird-baths, etc. back into place during clean- up, and left the yard looking great. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to use them again!

The SDS team did a highly professional job of removing the tree. I was concerned about yard damage. However, with the proper equipment and skills, there was no damage. In fact, there was no sign that they had even been there except that the tree was gone. Great job, SDS.

The service was provided punctually and professionally, left the site neat and clear. He and his crew were prompt, courteous, professional and did excellent work. He can be highly recommended to anyone.

Scott and his team were prompt, efficient & reasonably priced. The crew worked well together and each knew what their job was. Scott said he would be in and out and that is exactly what happened. Even my neighbor, who watched the entire time, commented that she had never seen a crew that worked together so well. Also, they cleaned up really well after all was done. Will definitely call them in the spring to take care of more tree work.

They were punctual and professional for estimate and removal of the tree. They used a crane to reach over the house, remove the tree and move to it to the disposal truck, with no damage to the property. Great job at a great price!

He came with about 10 men and 7 trucks. They arrived about 11 am and immediately went to work. Great team work. By noon they were done. We took many pictures and movies. We were so impressed by how well they worked together. Very professional. We were also so pleased that they cleaned up our yard. Everything went into their chipper and was taken away. Scott is very busy. We had to wait a month before he could put us in his schedule, but it was worth it. We would definitely call him again for any tree or landscape work.

Scott, the owner, and his team are excellent, Price was right and I was able to negotiate enough to make it affordable based on other tree services. Large crew, job and cleanup completed in a timely manner..Definitely would recommend him to others. He's a busy guy but worth the wait..
