Description of Work: Great job! They cut down a large tree and removed the stump from our front yard. The tree was encroaching on the house and interfering with our plumbing. They were prompt and efficient. Did excellent job with cleanup too.

Description of Work: cut up and removed large tree branch which fell in my backyard. Scott was a very honest and professional person. While they are a bit pricey, they had to charge a minimum to come onsite, the work was done as scheduled. It was all cleaned up with all debris taken away. Excellent job. I would recommend you call Scott if you have a tree problem.

Description of Work: They cut down a ~30' spruce tree and ground the stump. They were punctual (early, actually) and fast (completed job in about 30 minutes). Afterward, there was a gouge in the lawn perhaps 3'x2"(it was wet) and minor damage to some tulips near the tree which were just emerging. A shed about 10' from the tree was undamaged. They completely cleaned up afterward, leaving no mess.

Description of Work: After a terrible storm this week, a number of trees, large and small, came down on my property and partially landed on the backside of my house. I met with Scott yesterday and he provided me with a quote. He said if I was ready today (Thursday July 3rd) he would take care of my project. He called me this morning and he said he was still able to begin today, so I hired him to do the job. I am glad I did. He and his employees are very hard workers. After cutting up and removing all of the agreed upon trees, they did an excellent job cleaning up the debris. It's great to be able to find companies with the ethics of SDS. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone requiring their service.

Description of Work: I just LOVE Scott and his team at SDS. Not only did he handle taking down my trees but helped my parents with an emergency tree situation after the big storm in June 2013 that sheared off their trees. The scope of work for my project was taking down two large sugar maples (over 150 old trees) from my front yard and then grinding the stumps. Scott came to give me an estimate based on the fact that he was going to also do work for our neighbor (who also LOVED his work). Instead, I had to delay my project but Scott still honored his quote with me (which he definitely did not have to do!) When we scheduled our tree work, he came when he said he would, he was extremely professional and his crew worked so carefully and diligently to take down these massive trees which required them to also direct traffic (as we live on a busy street). They left everything clean, swept and they were fast and prompt. Would work with them again ANYTIME!!! I've used them before with the same stellar experience!

Description of Work: I had one huge white pine tree (150ft tree used to be there) stump grinded and one smaller Japanese Maple stump grinded. The work was done sooner than I thought. Clean up was very neat. They also removed and grinded 5 very big shrubs and no sign that these shrubs were there when they were done, cleaned up pretty good there too. Pleasant and professional personality. Price was right - around $500.00

Description of Work: I've used Angie's List before and had a bad experience with a handyman, so I was nervous to use the list again, however, the service I choose for the job was definitely the right one this time. Scott said they would be here by 7:30 am. They were actually setting up the truck in my front yard by 6:45 am. I was very pleased with their care of protecting my yard from any damage due to the heavy equipment used. I had two tree's trimed back and two huge bushes that needed trimming. There was a crew of six men who were all friendly, professional and made sure that as they trimmed, they wanted to make sure that they were doing as I expected. They were here for about two hours. Once they left, the trees and bushes looked great and no mess was left behind. I have a huge tree (85') in the back yard that I will probably call them back during the winter to remove. Thanks again Scott and your crew, a great group of guys you have working for you!

Description of Work: He showed up when he was supposed to a did exactly what he said he would do. He cleaned up after himself, you would have never even known that he was there. I would recommend him.
