Two people came. They were polite and professional.

I found this contractor listed in an Angie's Big Deal . I bought the deal on 2/22/2015, and the contractor contacted me by email within a day. I'd forgotten to give them a phone number. The contractor called in the time frame I requested by e mail, and we set up an appointment quickly. They arrived promptly, were very courteous and professional, told us about the plans for inspection and and listened to the areas of concern we had, and then did both the exterior inspection and minor repairs and then the interior inspection. We were shown pictures of the roof, and of the areas that were caulked, the condition of the roof both inside and out was discussed, and then were given information on general roof life and care, the products they use to replace a roof and any questions we had were answered. We were both very pleased with the service, with the clear explanation of the work that was performed, and being shown photos of the roof was an extra help. After such a hard winter, getting the roof checked and the small repairs done makes me feel more secure. I would recommend CMV Contracting to anyone looking for someone to take care of any roofing concerns or to talk to them about replacement.

The provider was unable to provided the services included in the Angie's list deal due to the condition of my roof. The provider did give me a quote for a new roof. However the services for which I paid were not rendered and I did not get a refund. The provider said Angie's List would need to refund the money and he would arrange it. I never got the refund and never heard from the provider again. Update: I hear from the provider today and updated the responsiveness score. Also, I'll be contacting Angie's list customer service about the refund.

these guy's were great. they worked around my schedule. they came out on a saturday morning and inspected what needed to be done. they helped with insurance and financing. explained what my option where, and what needed to be done. they wrote up quotes for three different repairs, roofing, siding, and damage repair. they explain how they would schedule the work. after they started repairs they discovered structural problems that no one would have guessed were there. after informing me and meeting to see problems, they gave me a couple of options and got everything back on schedule. sided entire house, stripped, repaired, and reroofed house with 50 year warranty shingles. they repaired a blown out wall, holes in roofs, installed dry wall, window, insulation, replaced wainscoting. repair ceilings in three rooms including above kitchen cabinets and bathroom shower. match paint and stains. they went the extra mile with everything, extra insulation, "already had machine". ceiling replacement in shower, they did the whole bathroom, "needed it". expect dust, nothing, they cleaned everything. they treated me like i expected to be treated. didn't have to chase them down when i needed something, kept me informed and updated. afterwards they meet with me and asked if i had any concerns or problems with work. i've owned a number of homes and have dealt with numerous contractors. i'm every aware of the problems associated with old houses. cmv is as good than any contractor i have ever hired. i would not hesitate to use them in the future.

We initially contacted CMV to put a new roof on our place in Columbia County, but ultimately asked them to do a lot more. Overall, really pleased with the outcome--each project (we kept adding to the scope of work) was clearly outlined and delineated by Robert, and he stayed right on budget. Highlights were the roof, which went on quickly and neatly, and the kitchen work, which included design and build of some floating shelves fashioned out of old beams, with in-set lighting. CMV also came to the rescue when a pipe burst in our laundry room over the winter--they made repairs very quickly. That being said: some of the projects took longer than expected to get done, and some of the painting work wasn't the absolute best. But generally speaking, happy with the overall experience and glad to know that CMV is capable of doing pretty much anything.

I phoned CMV on a thursday, told the man that answered that my rubber roof was flapping in the breeze and it needed to be replaced or fixed whatever needed to be done. He told me he would be there Friday early. I I waited home all day, 4: 30 PM I got a call back from a woman telling me that a guy named Josh would be there Monday between 2 and 3. She gave me two phone numbers, that I had to ask for, they were 518-772-2338 and 518-225-8263. Not the numbers in their great add they had on line.

I waited all day, finally at 4:30 pm I got a call from a woman telling me that a guy named Josh would be at my home between 2 and 3 the following Monday. He was a no show, and never heard from them since. When I talked the woman I asked for the phone number, she gave me two 518-772-2338 and 518-225-8263 They have a great add on the web showing the phone #'s as 773-0082 and 528-8398. It's strange because one of the numbers comes up as HBH Construction at PO box 94 Steaphentown ny
