+ 0 moreAfter emailing Hans, we sent him pictures of the current state and stopped by the nursery. Hans prepared a beautiful design and followed to show us the actual plants and what they would look like. He was open to suggestions as we walked around. He is very knowledgeable and was very easy to work with. Once we agreed on the design they called us to schedule. Let me say their workers were great, very professional and they worked really hard in the blistering heat. I am very happy we chose Weisner Bros for the landscape. There is not one bad thing I could say of the whole experience or any of the employees. Would definitely recommend

+ 0 moreThe workmen were punctual, professional, and talented in creating the tiers and stone wall. During the installation, they needed to place the trees strategically to balance the front appearance. When they finished they left everything cleaned and it was like they were naturally grown in the location. Made a big difference to the front of the home Hans Wiesner's and his staff are very knowledgable and willing to assist you in creating the garden of your choice. In addition, their summer flowers and plants thrive beautifully.
Description of Work: I used Wiesner two years ago to install some arborvitaes and remove the old ones that were damaged during the winter. The cost was 2,500.00 for the complete project. Currently, I am having them return for maintenance of the trees and another tree.

+ -1 moreGreat experience. First, I had very meaningful conversation online, then came to the nursery to see the trees and discuss the terms. Was well advised as to what trees are the best for my project. Signed contract. Next day Hans (co- owner) came to my place for a walk-through, checking the access to the working area, and marking the exact locations of the trees. A few weeks later, a group of 4 people on a truck came, and in about 1.5 hours did the job, very professionally, very clean; results are just great. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: Wanted a estimate for planting a row of small bushes in front of house. I was told that the estimate would cost $200, and that if I used the service I would get back $100. The guy is no more than a short drive from my house and the estimate could be eye balled in less than two minutes.

+ -1 moreHans came out to the house and took pictures of the existing landscape. We met him at the nursery and we modified the plan to meet our needs. Stu came out with a crew of 4 men and ripped out all of the old, overgrown shrubs. They then installed the new shrubs. On another day, the crew installed sod, landscape rocks, mulch, and trimmed all of the lands ace shrubs. On each of the two days, they were pleasant, efficient ,and professional. They cleaned up after they finished. The property looks terrific?. sometimes you do get what you pay for.
Description of Work: Planned for and replaced existing, overgrown shrubbery as a landscape upgrade. They also repaired sod that was torn up by the plumber who connected our home to the newly installed sewer line.

+ 0 moreThey're in such good condition and the people tell you how to care for it and they're extremely professional, they work with you. Someone named Paul is the one who works with us all the time and we don't have to spend a lot of money. Some people end up spending thousands of dollars on landscaping but we don't spend that kind of money and they give us the same service, which is really nice. The price is a little high for average. I don't want people thinking that you can go there and get all this great service and they're cheap.
Description of Work: I used Wiesner Bros Nursery Inc to do some small plant work and landscaping with them. We last used them in September. They charge for the plants and I don't remember how much exactly. We planted 3 shrubs and they charged us half the price of the shrubs to put them in but my husband planted them.

Secondly, the staff there is very knowledgeable and are very customer friendly. As for the tree they planted for me in my front lawn. Everything went well and they gentlemen cleaned up after his work and advised me on how I should be taking care of the tree over the next year.

+ -1 moreService is thorough and professional from drawing up plans, to the final installation. Plant variety, size, and quality are very good. In addition, 2 older plantings were transferred to a more appropriate spot. And if you ask you will receive great instructions on care, from fertilizing to pruning for proper development of the plantings. It still looks lovely 2 growing seasons later and the field stones were a great idea to prevent erosion while adding a professional look. It is definitely worth the little extra money to put in the soaker hose to protect your initial investment. If you appreciate quality of design, professionalism, & courtesy you will not be disappointed.
Description of Work: Designed & installed a mixed evergreen barrier where there is a drop off into my neighbor's yard, plus moved 2 other shrubs to make room for the new plantings.

+ 0 moreOne good example is the Chinese Dogwood tree we purchased from Wiesner's in 1992. It was such a little thing that they planted (which is what we wanted at the time - it was our "Anniversay" tree). They gave us complete directions for caring for it, which we followed to the letter. Today, the tree is magnificent. In the spring the flowers (bracks) make it look like there is snow all over it. During the summer the leaves are healthy and bountiful. And in the fall, the foliage is a brilliant orange which fills our bay window. Even in the winter the tree has a stark simplicity which is very arftul. Description of Work: Although we purchased only one small tree from them this spring and planted it ourselves, we have used Wiesner's over the last twenty years many times. Each time we have experienced a great deal of professionalism and caring from them. Much of our landscaping was either done completely by them or we purchased shrubs or trees from them and planted them ourselves. We have had only good experience with them. And the trees and plants have grown very successfully. In fact, today we are going over to them to discuss possible new shrubs for another area of our lawn. We usually talk to Paul, who is wonderfully helpful. He truly cares about his customers and what they do in their gardens. + 0 moreIt went well. And they gave a year's guarantee with the tree. As it worked out the tree did just fine and looks beautiful. I liked the way that the guys worked. They did a clean job (and that's hard when you are working with dirt). And they were orderly , organized and professional. The tree did have one branch snapped off before it got to my place. I didn't mention it to them but figured that happened in transit.
Description of Work: I bought a tree from the place. Their nursery is great ; you have a good selection. You can find almost any kind of tree there. So, they tagged the tree, and saved it until I was ready to have it planted. (I chose the tree before I had a larger tree cut down). They delivered and installed the tree, set up stones around it , a natural tree ring. And they cleaned up when they were done.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY GOOD. THE TWO TREES THAT THEY TOOK OUT WERE BOTH DYING AND HANGING OVER POWER LINES. WE HAD TO HAVE THEM REMOVED. THEY PUT UP THE SCRUBS LIKE A PRIVACY FENCE IN OUR FRONT YARD. I WAS SAD TO LOSE THE TREES, BUT THEY MADE IT LOOK BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD WITHOUT THEM.
