My Friend Rosalie needed part of a fence replaced; since she doesn't have a computer, I found Rich on Angie's List for her. She called him and he came to give her an estimate... she hired Rich and she's very glad she did! He just finished the job this week and it looks great! Her neighbor is now very interested in hiring him too. Would definitely hire Rich again.. punctual; professional and VERY honest! Can't thank him enough...

My experience with Staten Island Fence was fabulous. Rich was responsive to calls and had great ideas/suggestions when he came over to give us an estimate for the fence. We hired him for the job on the spot. Rich and his crew arrived when he said they would and finished the job within 7 hours. One other bright spot was that he and his guys cleaned up any mess that they made so the area looked like it did when he started the job (with a new fence, of course). He also took down the old fence and carted it away so we didn't have to do anything when they finished. I would definitely hire him again and am recommending him to friends.

Richie of Staten Island Fence was a true professional. His communication, responsiveness and customer service were second to none. Rich was on-site every day doing the work himself with his team!! Received a call back after leaving a message , made an appointment for a Tuesday for an estimate, it rained that day and did receive a call to reschedule. Rescheduled for Thursday, it's now over a week later , no call and no show, poor customer service, too bad seems like he does good work. Thanks for wasting my time. People forget appointments but to not call is ridiculous

Richie was very professional and the work was done beautifully. His team was very efficient at cleaning all debris and leaving a very tidy backyard.

Work went very well. Weather held up work for a few days but mother nature is beyond the control of the contractor. Fence came out perfectly and Rich was very professional and responsive to our needs.

The provider told me what is his plan, he is very proffesional, comforatble talking to, a nice guy, he also render more comments and you will definely feel the benefits on hiring him.

Great job and professionalism. Owner, Rich, gave estimate and when I hired him gave me a date in the window of time i needed. He does the job himself with helper/s.So on site for whole process. Priced very fairly and paid attention to every detail. Everyone loves the job he did and two neighbors actually hired him while he was still doing the job, they liked it that much and I guess his pricing as well. Since he did the work I have had nothing but compliments. Also important to note he uses good quality materials and not the 'cheap big box retailer' stuff.

Rich was very responsive and was able to complete the entire project in about five days total with his crew. New fence looks great and really makes a difference. They removed all of the old fence materials and left my yard spotless.

Excellent! Rich is the best. This is the second time I have used his service. He is on site at all times, professional and neat. After finishing the job they clean so well you couldn't even tell there had been work done.

Rich was a pleasure to deal with prompt in returning calls/emails and answering any questions. Installation was stress free and finished in a timely manner. Fence looks beautiful and have received several compliments. Rich was very knowledgeable on his product and even made suggestions that I hadn't thought of and when I needed something he didn't provide he pointed me in the right direction. Rich was very meticulous in putting up the fence. He made several suggestions on the design and placement of the fence which lead to a quality job. He pointed out the border of the brand new pavers would be covered by the fence posts and suggested the borders be moved in. He also suggested a change to the standard post cap with a more detailed cap that sets the fence apart. The difference between him and most other Staten Island Contractors is he was on the job1 100% of the time and did much of the work himself rather than showing up the first day and leaving unsupervised workers which is commonplace on SI.He came within the timeframe he said but I would book early as he is busy. I would highly recommend.

We obtained a few estimates and Rich offered us the best price and was able to get started the soonest. He started the job exactly when he said he would, provided regular updates, responded to questions promptly, and was an all-around professional. He and his worker were quiet and efficient and left the work site clean and neat. The post holes he dug were very deep and well secured, the fence is very straight without any dips or sags, and he supplied a high-quality lock for the gate he made at the end of the driveway. We liked the job he did on one side of the house so much we ended up hiring him to do another part of the yard. The other section was a little trickier given the presence of a huge tree on our property, but he did a great job working around it. He and his worker are excellent, and I should mention how nice and patient they were with our curious toddler. We definitely would hire him again!

The job went great. Rich took the time to give an estimate and then began the work promptly. My existing fence had blown down in a wind storm. Rich took care to reuse the materials that were in good shape and replaced all materials that were not salvageable. This kept the cost way down. Rich and his assistant were neat, organized and cleaned up afterwards. The fence looks great and Rich even added more posts than were previously there so the fence is much stronger. He knows his craft well and takes pride in doing a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

Rich from SI Fence was great to work with for our fence project. He took into consideration our yard requirements and came up with the best solution for us. He was always available for any questions we had and quickly responded with easy to understand answers. He gave us a catalog so we could see the actual products to be used. We walked through the proposed fencing area so he could explain exactly the job with us so there were no misunderstandings and we got exactly what we wanted. He also fixed our chain link fence. The project was started and completed on time. We would definitely work with him again and highly recommend this company. We had 3 estimates before choosing SI Fence and they were definitely the best option for us!

I bought an older home and had worked with various contractors to get the house fixed up. Rich from SI Fence and Landscaping is one of the best contractors that I have worked with. He promptly answered my call, provided a detailed and very reasonable estimate. Everything was fully communicated to us before we make our decision to go with SI Fence & Landscaping. Rich used high quality material and the work was nicely done. Rich and his team cleaned up the backyard after they completed their work and we didn't have to worry about anything. It was truly a great experience all-around.

Richie made sure to let us know what he had to do to make the fence work. Even then you wouldn't know anything was off. Couldn't be happier with how the whole project turned out. Richard Whitney did an outstanding job. His attention to detail was so much appreciated by me. He was organized and neat. The fence looks so good!!
