From the time I contacted Harvey he quickly gave me an estimate for the job and it was within the average cost of other upholsterers I contacted. He provided an in house consultation with us concerning the fabric and informed us that we can buy the fabric for the same cost as he could get it. We ordered the fabric and he came and picked up the chairs. We received an estimated time of two weeks but eight days later the chairs were delivered. The reupholstery was perfect. Better than new. Working with Harvey was a pleasure and his work is excellent.

It went very well. Project completed and delivered much sooner than expected. Work was high quality. Overall cost was as much as other quotes for labor alone. It was important to us that the upholsterer respect this valuable piece of furniture. Not disappointed. Called the number given on Angie's List. Call returned the next day, discussed the project with the owner who said he was on vacation at the time and would have his partner call to discuss an estimate. The partner called the following day and based on an oral description gave a labor estimate. Went to the shop to complete arrangements, and the staff were courteous and helpful, and they stood by their telephone estimate through to the end.

They were fitted in my home, delivered on schedule, and fitted perfectly. Mr. Berkowitz was pleasant and left the apartment clean. He also traveled quite a distance to my home to do the fittings and called periodically to tell me if he would be delayed or would arrive on time.
