Seems like a very in demand guy, but never made it past the phone call.

The installation (including mouting and drilling through a brick wall) was very well done, workers are knowlegeable, hard working, and polite. They cleaned up completely and the installation was perfect. The machine is fabulous and has made it through the ridiculous heat wave keeping the floor very cool without the slightest wimper. Sam had previously repaired a horrible installation for different unit by another company. The problem had stymied an electrician who teaches apprentices in the Electrician's union and a commercial installer with 20+ years experience instaling A/C. I know Sam is very knowledgeable because he identified the problem immediately and repaired it excellently. This company is at the top of professional, easy to deal with, and I highly recommend them for any AC purchase and installation. I know you will be more than pleased.

Sam and his team were very knowledgeable on how to best approach the installation of the units in this old house with limited disruption of the walls. The electrical work needed to wire the units was also done by a true professional. The team was very careful to perform the work as cleanly as possible. The team was also very trustworthy, never did I fret that anything would be taken from my home. Now that the work has been completed, I know that it was well worth it. The units work exactly as promised. If you are considering installing air conditioning units, you can't go wrong with Sam's.

Sam and his crew were professional, nice and easy to work with. Sam came by for the estimate and took the time to explain exactly what the work would entail, he went through the various configurations we could use and explained which were best and why. He was responsive, easy to get in touch with, and a nice guy. The work was completed on time and there were no surprises. I highly recommend this company.

We asked him to come and give a quote on installing central air in our newly purchased home. He came, spent an hour+ looking around and talking to us, then never followed up with a quote - even after we emailed him repeatedly. Disappointed by this type of non-professional behavior.

I think he might have been overwhelmed with business or maybe all the questions I was asking him so I didn’t end up using him.

We had a complicated A/C issue with ductless wall units. The original 3 unit system was improperly installed in 2004 with shoddy workmanship, and one unit stopped functioning during last summer's heat wave. I had 5 different companies (including Sam's) evaluate how to repair it. Four of the companies gave me "pat" resonses, the estimates for repair ranged from $3-$15,000 to replace a single unit and none of the solutions actually addressed the underlying issue for the failure. Sam thoroughly evaluated the system, looked at the entire installation on the roof, the closets, through the attic, etc. He explained why he thought the system broke, laid out the various options for us and recommended the solution that would be the least disruptive to walls and ceilings - not an easy job since we have tin ceilings, a totally open layout and no ability to put a new compressor outside. He came back 2 or 3 times before even starting the work, to be sure all measurements were correct and that he had correctly scoped out the problem. The work itself took about a week but his crew (including Sam himself) were very competent, very neat and cleaned up completely. We knew we would have some repair work - i.e. painting, spackling - but were surprised at how little disruption there actually was. Sam told us he really enjoyed the intellectual challenge of figuring out what was wrong and how to fix it. We felt his price was VERY reasonable given the other estimates we had gotten for "quick fixes" and feel completely confident in the work Sam did. We would use him again in an instant.

We had a great experience with them. promt and puncutal. The manager came back after and finished everything up after everyday of work. The price was very reasonable. We paid exactly what they quoted. He has very good about offering references. He was willing to work with us and provide us with exactly what we wanted.

Sam 's A/C did a fantastic job. Their work was slow, methodical, professional and very very high-quality. These guys really know their stuff and it shows. No corner cutting, no BS - Just the straight facts from Sam and Sam's AC. Would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Sam was very professional, honest, and knowledgeable. He did his best to repair the unit, but my building co-op has stringent requirements, I had to replace the entire unit. This was through no fault of Sam's.

Sam was very competent and honest. He indicated that only two of the four units needed replacing (other companies had said all four units needed replacing). Sam instructed me how to go out to the supplier myself and pick up the two new units at @ $2700 ($800 off the price given to me by other companies), and then installed to the two units for $350. Everything is working well now.

Professional, dependable, knowledgeable, and an honest gentleman, are the words to describe Sam . . . and I can also add "caring" to this list. Three A/C seasons ago, a plumber "friend" installed two Mitsubishi Mr. Slim units in my home - a system that never worked for more than a two week period before needing a service call. Worried and frustrated because my husband's Parkinson's Disease makes it difficult for him to breathe under hot and humid conditions, I called Mitsubishi and was referred to Sam's Air Conditioning. Sam responded to my S.O.S. and quickly assessed the job - he needed to completely replace a compressor and two indoor units while the remaining four indoor units had to be reinstalled and the other compressor needed to be decontaminated and recharged due to initial improper installation. Sam and his men did the work as quickly as they could, working 14 hour days, knowing that my husband's health was at stake. Sam's compassion and caring went beyond the days he worked on my system; he has called me a number of times since then to see if the system is working to my satisfaction, concerned for my husband because of the extremely hot weather we're experiencing this summer. I highly recommend Sam and his men to anyone who wants a job not only neatly done, but also well-done, by a man who takes pride in his work.

We have a Mitsibushi Slim, and it's difficult to find companies familiar with the equipment. We are having problems with leakage somewhere in the line, and another company quoted almost $200 per hour to service it, and said it would take a full day--so $1,000--and suggested a service contract. My first call with Sam in the fall of 2009 was great--he quoted me an hourly rate that was more acceptable and he said a service contract was a waste of money, as once this problem was repaired we'd be set for a few years at least. We scheduled him to come for the repairs, and he rescheduled. Then he didn't show. Then he rescheduled, didn't show,We rescheduled, didn't show. This happened repeatedly. We gave up over the winter, and began trying again a few months ago. We scheduled a time, and he asked us to send the information via text, but he didn't show again. Despite repeated texts, he hasn't responded. I spoke with him last Monday, scheduled a time for Tuesday, and he asked me to call him to remind him! Is that any way to run a business?! Needless to say, he didn't show, and didn't respond to our follow-up text. It's sad to see that he has such great reports when he's shown up, because we'll never know if he's ay good.

For years my wife and I would sit in a hot and humid house, using fans to keep us cool. We had an 18,000 btu wall air conditioner. When it was on, you had to turn the volume on the TV or radio up high,not to mention sitting in the path of a wind storm. One room would be cold and the next just cool.Then one day I read about ductless air systems. We found Sam's Air Conditioning through Angie's list. We called, and in a few days Sam personally came over for a free estimate. He talked to us about how the system would be quiet, cool and efficient. Sam was very polite and professional. The job would take two and a half days, start date was the next week. When Sam and his men showed up I knew that we were going to get a quality job. Every man worked like a professional and was also polite and respectful the whole job through. Any mess on the floor or material from the units was cleaned up. The job came out better then we expected. Now when its hot outside, our home is cooled evenly and the units run quiet. I would recommend Sam to anyone that would want a ductless air system installed the right way the first time. Call me anytime I would glad to tell you

I did end up going with someone else, but Sam was very nice and professional.

Called Sam's Airconditioning for a price quote foe installing a split mini duct ac system. I was told that Sam would come for an estimate by 730PM. Sam actually came between 815 and 830 without contacting me to let me know that he was running late. The estimates quote given seem exceptionally high compared to other received quotes and he repeatedly said (before the initial quote was given) that if you pay less or try to bargain hunt you will get a bad job done. After the walk through and the un-official quote was given, he said that he would contact me by Sunday (he came on Thursday) and he would email me an official price quote. It has been over 3 weeks and I still have not heard anything form this company. Very unprofessional in my opinion and if I cannot get a quote, I can only imagine how punctual the work would be performed.

He doesn't call back, he disappeared off of the face of the earth after the proposal. He was very personable and reasonable as far as price, it's just that he never followed up. He was very nice, clear about what we needed to do and explained everything. He had the job so I don't understand why he didn't call back. He should have let us know if he didn't want the job.

I didn't end up using him. I had redone my basement several years ago and didn't heat it down there. Recently my stepson moved in there and the weather has gotten colder so I decided to put in the heat. I got quotes from several other people and Sam's would not come down on their price. I had gotten a bid that was $500 less. He was professional and his partner came out first. I didn?t use him because the price wasn?t right. He couldn?t come one time, but he called to let me know.

The work took a little longer than estimated. Some of it was due to structural difficulty that wasn't anticipated. The work wasn't quite as organized as I would have hoped. It went pretty well. They got things done quickly.

Even after getting a dealer from the Mitsubishi web site and checking 5 references, my Mitsubishi Slimline was improperly installed from the beginning. When it began leaking 2 years later, I got a business referral for an AC repairman who said a pump was needed (paid $1,100.00 (including electrician $800.00) but left before the machine was working and was going to send another friend of his for even more money. He admitted not being that familiar with Mitsubishi when he couldn't get it to work. After 2 days, I called Mitsubishi and was referred to Sam. Sam is knowledgeable and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He said the pump was unnecessary and although he could have charged me to remove the pump and redrill the drainline that should have been put in by the previous repairman he instead just made the connections/repairs so the unit works. Wish I would have called him to begin with. Lesson I learned - only use recommendations from friends - don't use Mitsubishi web site for installations. Use Angie's list.

The installation was performed in a very professional manner. Sam and his workers were very knowledgeable, reliable, punctual and the work site was left very clean. The system is very efficient, comfortable and so quiet that you may not know that it is on. I highly recommend the system and the installation by the contractor.
