They were pleasant, prompt, and extremely professional. They courteously disassembled the old fans for us so that it was easy to put out for the garbage. Will definitely be using them again for all of our electrical needs!

Roger and Bill were a professional, efficient, neat, and personable team. Roger came up with practical solutions that more than met our expectations. On the first visit (about 2 hours) they assessed the situation from basement to attic ( 4 floors) and identified which outlets and switches went with which circuits on the box. Roger created a new chart to put next to the box for future reference. He called later that day with an estimate for the new wiring. Three weeks later they returned.They installed dedicated lines for 2 air conditioners, and our refrigerator, and extended an existing line for a new outlet for the O2 machine on the second floor. They installed new GFIO boxes for the kitchen and bathroom. Discovered dangerous wiring in the bathroom outlet and put in a new dedicated line and GFIO outlet by running a wire up the pipe chase (additional cost not included in original estimate.) Roger reconfigured some of the wiring going to the second floor to redistribute the electrical load on circuits. Also tidied up loose junction box wires, replaced a worn out outlet in one room and closed up an outlet over the utility sink in the basement. We highly recommend this company.

I couldn't be happier with our experience with Roger De Electric Co. They were courteous, professional and on time. I scheduled a time with Roger within a two day time frame of my initial call and when I called to switch the date and time, he was extremely accommodating. While he was performing the work he noticed two other outlets that were not up to code and was able to update these as well saving us a headache in the future during our walk through when we close. I would happily recommend their services!

I cannot express how WONDERFUL these guys were! They were super responsive, called when they said they would, were prompt, professional, and did a terrific job! You definitely should hire them for any electrical needs.

The initial work went well. They were on time, knew what they needed to do ( installed a timer switch for a outdoor Sconce) . They were neat, courteous and the price was fair, But they failed on our second request to fix or replace paver light.

This is the second time I hired Roger, and as the first time they were excellent. I had a short which was very hard to find, but Roger and Bill spent the time to track it down and make the repairs needed. Always professional, honest, timely, and communicated very well. Roger called me back within the hour; made an appointment for later the same day; and courteously kept me apprised of their expected arrival time. When they were here, Roger and an assistant remedied the problem, fixed an additional outlet that was loose, and also helped to straighten out some connection issues in the box in the basement. Throughout, the men were professional and helpful. I will definitely call on this company again for electrical needs.

Roger did a great job removing the old, corroded panel and installing a new one with a backing board to serve as a barrier to any future moisture, and fully labeling the new panel. He also ran a new ground and secondary ground. All of the work was completed very professionally, and quickly-- I had expected it to take the entire day, and Roger and the other electrician (didn't catch his name) were done by early afternoon. I appreciated that after completing the work, Roger explained to me a few quirks in the house's electrics that he had come across during the job, for me to be aware of in the future. Great work, would definitely hire again for other electrical needs.

This is going to sound impossible, but the job went perfectly from our perspective. We have a 100-year-old house with old wiring, and we aren't doing a full renovation, so we needed some creative solutions. Roger talked things through with us and came up with some really well-thought-out solutions. It was a three- or four-day job, and Roger was fantastic from start to finish. He was communicative and clear before they started the work, prompt and efficient during the job, and totally helpful all the way through. We ran into some problems with ConEd and he spoke to them, then gave us a letter to submit to them for a refund on our account. Roger was also seriously patient with my last-minute add-ons to the job!

My initial call was answered promptly, and the two electricians were able to come nearly immediately. All the problems were identified and fixed immediately; they both obviously knew their stuff! Speedy, knowledgeable and courteous - and at a good price too! Couldn't ask for more. Thanks for getting the lights back on!

Excellent !!! Just like all the other reviews I am glad I went with roger rather than someone else

It went great! The problem: I watched a Youtube video and attempted to change a light switch in the bathroom myself. Didn't work out, lol! I messed something up, and I knew I needed professional help. Roger De Electric returned my call within hours. They arrived an hour after that. They were quick and professional, and the cost was reasonable. It turned out to be a small job. They were finished in a half hour. While they were here, they checked all the connections on the main circuit board. This is an old house, and it's comforting to know the electric is in good working order. It's good to know you can call a professional for a small job. I always hesitate to call an electrician for something small because I think the job isn't big enough for them. I'm so glad I called these guys! They were so competent and professional that I will call them for anything electrical. I highly recommend this company.

I phoned Roger on a Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. and left a message, thinking that I wouldn't hear back from him until Monday at the earliest. However, he called back about an hour later, asked what type of circuit breaker I had, and explained that if all that was needed was a new breaker, the fee would be $160 + tax (with the Angie's List discount). He said he had two emergency calls ahead of me, but would be at my house by the afternoon. A couple of hours later, he called again to say that he was on his way. He arrived, confirmed that the breaker needed replacing, did the job quickly, and checked the condition of the other breakers in the service box. He was totally professional, he was done in about 15 minutes, and he checked to make sure the power was back on. I can't believe I had my power back only 4 hours after calling him! I would absolutely use Roger again, and I would recommend him to anyone without reservation!

Excellent all around! First of all, they called a day early when they found a time slot open. The time worked for us so they came. Roger and his assistant Bill were polite and professional. They quickly found the trouble, fixed the issue in the electrical box, and put in 3 new outlets (ours were old and loose). They gave us some pointers on things we could do ourselves to be more energy efficient. Really great experience.
