Roger was always reliable and professional, returning phone calls and arriving when he said he would. The job entailed inspections by Con Ed and the Building Dept., and Roger obtained the necessary permits and documents, facilitated all the appointments, and was present with the inspectors when necessary. During the actual work, we were without electricity for a shorter time than originally estimated. I highly recommend him.

Roger De arrived on time. They were polite, friendly, and professional. They answered all of our questions and concerns. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time, and I was quite pleased with the final product. Cost was competitive with other electricians. All in all, a very positive experience. I would certain not hesitate to use them again.

Jennifer took my call and was very professional and pleasant. I asked for same day service, she told me that Roger was out on calls but that she would get back to me. She called back a short while later to explain Roger's calls for the day and that he would fit me in on his way home. I understood and agreed. Jennifer called me an hour before Roger arrived to say that he was on his way. Roger arrived as promised and he and Anthony were business like and neat; Roger quickly knew what to do and he replaced the burned out parts without any fuss. While he was here, he checked the main breaker boxes and tightened up some loose connections. I was very pleased with this team's down to earth professionalism and will be a continuing customer.

They were very good. They were very competent and very pleasant. They did good work and they were conscientious. They were very polite. They were very good at what they did.

After speaking with his courteous receptionist I received a callback and was offered an appt the very same day. Unfortunately I was unavailableand had to reschedule.I was than offered an appt first thing the next morning. He arrived on time and was courteous and knowledgeable. He got right to work fixing my kitchen light. At least I thought it was the kitchen light, it turned out to be the switch. He then offered to retighten all the connections in my maiin circuit box. I HIGHLY recommend ROGER DE ELECTRIC to everyone.

Roger put in a new electrical line , junction box, light fixture and capped off two old electical lines. Excellent job from start to finish. I am so happy that I will recommend him to my friends and will have him come back to do some other electrical work for me. You can`t go wrong with this company, they are that good.

Roger is the best! He is knowledgeable, experienced, and careful, the first indication of which was his assessment of the way the fan would attach to the fitting in the tin ceiling. The original lighting fixture was powered by gas, and the pipe was still in place. As a result, the old ceiling fan had not been attached flush with the ceiling. To properly install the new fan, flush with the ceiling, the gas pipe would need to be cut so the fan could be attached directly to a heavy beam. Roger first checked to be sure that the gas to that pipe had been turned off (it had). Then he cut the pipe and was able to attach the new fan directly to the beam. He explained that, given the 10-foot height of the ceiling, the 12-inch extender rod should be used instead of the 6-inch rod, allowing for greater air volume to be circulated. Once the fan was installed, Roger demonstrated the remote controls, taking care to tell us to reverse the blade direction only when the fan was off, not in motion. We were so happy with his work that we asked him to advise and give us an estimate on some other electrical matters. He was able to replace an in-line dimmer switch on a favorite floor lamp (incandescent) and advise us to get a different dimmer switch for the halogen floor lamp. We arranged for him to install under-cabinet LED lighting in our kitchen, repair our doorbell, rewire some entry lighting, and upgrade our circuit breakers. He was generous with his time and answered all our questions. To do some of the work, he needed to verify our C of O as a 3-family house. This turned out to require a trip to the appropriate department, because the online information was incorrect. He called to let us know that this meant a slight delay in getting back to us with a full estimate. We would not hesitate to hire him for every electrical job that needs doing.

The job went really well. They had a tough job because I live in a house that was built in 1899. So there was no common wall to run the wires through from the basement. They got it done though. They cleaned up, and neatly patched the sheet rock in the closet and hallway that they had to break open to pull the wires. They were there most of the day and couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. I would definitely hire Roger again.

I contacted this electrical contractor's office and received several prompt follow-up calls. We were able to book an appointment very quickly. Roger arrived at the scheduled time. He then proceeded to work very quickly to resolve our problems, the rewiring being the far more serious and time-consuming issue. Roger and his helper were very professional and courteous during the work. Having dealt with numerous contractors over the years, we were very pleased with our experience with Roger De Electric and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality work at a reasonable price.

Pieces were missing from the box and they found a replacement in the truck. They also provided us with lightbulbs when we found we were out of them as well. All in all they were efficient, quick and very professional. We would definitely hire them again.

Late one evening I found there were smoking cables on my basement ceiling. I called Roger's office and explained the problem and how freightened I was. The person I spoke to was very understanding and told me she would have Roger call me. He called back and said he would be at my home within the hour. This was a serious problem and I felt assured Roger would not leave until he was sure it was safe. He also made me aware of potential problems with very old circuit breaker panels. I researched what he said found he was right and had him replace them. Roger made the repairs agreed upon plus he installed a light so we could see the circuit panels easily. Roger is very professional and fair and we will use his company again for future electrical work. Thank You Roger.

The wiring on the doorbell was beyond repair so we had to go with a wireless unit. Roger and Joe came and realized that it would be too costly to rewire the system. They considered the options but if was obvious the wireless unit was the best solutions. He came back after ordering the wireless system and installed it. It has been working great. I am glad that we went with the less expensive alternative. Roger took care of the whole thing - thanks guys.

I had a real problem that other electricians estimated the cost of fixing to be 1000 to 2000 dollars and their way would have involved breaking open my new walls - I really did not want that. I would have then had to pay for additional extensive repairs to the walls. Roger and Joe thought the project over and came up with a way of doing it that did not involve any wall repairs. The problem was that this involved very difficult work with snaking the BX cable between the walls and through a small opening. They also figured out to make a small opening to grab the cable behind a cabinet so it could not be seen and they repaired this themselves. The work was painstaking and I would have understood if they quit and used the way the other electricians said to do it - but they didn't!! They worked late into the night after hours to complete the work in one day and they did it - it was unbelievable - no wall repairs for me and half the price. They did not even charge me for anything extra for the late hours - they charge me time for a straight service call. I really appreciate their effort and thought and persistence in figuring a better way to do it.

Roger and Joe took their time to diagnose the problem and testing the system many times in different ways and only effected the repair when they were sure of what the problem was. Actually they were fixing another electrician's mistake. Roger and Joe talk it over and you get the benefit of two very experienced electricians at the same time. I sarcastically said that this does not seem to be your first day on the job; when Joe told me when he started I figured that they have about 50 - 60 years of electircal experience between them. They are good people that you can't go wrong with.

Roger and his staff were punctual, professional and through. they changed all of my outlets and installed two ceiling fans. While changing one outlet they ran into a problem with a wire in the wall. Roger and his staff worked until they resolved the problem and explained everything. They also cleaned everything up and bagged all the garbage and swept up before they left. I would recommend Roger De to anyone of my friends or associates. I can't imagine finding a better electrician.

Roger was extremely professional and diligent in his work. It took two days to complete the job. He started the job a day before the Thanksgiving holiday and completed what he promised to do on that day without leaving the house in disarray. He and his team were very neat and took care to cover the carpet while they were working. He also kept me informed by explaining in detail everything he was doing. I am very pleased with the outcome. All my expectations were met and I would definitely recommend Roger to others. One final note, his office even called today to follow up and make sure that I was happy with the work. Roger arrived at my house approximately one hour after I called (thanks to Jennifer in his office). He is very professional. I needed an outlet replaced in my basement and he performed the work quickly. I also had an issue with the furnace not going on and he found it was merely a dedicated switch that had been turned off. He also made some miner adjustments to the breaker box. Afterwards, he also pointed out a potentially dangerous issue.... the dryer vent needs to be replaced. He does not rush through....he takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. I would highly recommend Roger De Electric to my family and friends.

I was very concerned with quality since I own my apartment. I wanted to be sure the electricians understood the complexity of working in a old building with plaster and wood-studded walls. Also professional courtesy, rapport, feedback, and neatness is of utmost importance to me. Roger, Joe, and Tom met all of my expectations. After meeting with 4 different electricians I'm happy to know my instinct to go with Roger was the right. I highly recommend Roger de Electric.

The initial contact was made while he was doing work for a neighbor. The neighbor recommended and the worker (not Roger himself) urged me to corroborate using Angie's List. I called Roger's number, spoke to someone who took my message, telling me Roger himself would call, and he did. We arranged for a home visit, and he walked through the house with me taking notes. He called back with a price. When I mentioned that I had seen a discount on Angie's List, he immediately applied it to the offer. He did warn me that he was busy and that we would have to arrange for the work to be done in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, by coincidence there were various holidays both civil and religious, to interfere. Yes, there was a certain amount of phone tag. He called me on the Friday before Columbus day, proposing the Tuesday following that holiday. He arrived that morning personally, and he supervised two talented assistants (journeyman and apprentice?) personally and did much of the actual work himself. All the work was finished that day. He "hurried slowly" taking care to the safety and thoroughness of the installations. He showed great patience with the house traffic which was a bit intense, and also for my over enthusiastic dog. They left the house clean; they disposed of all worn parts and packaging; they arrived and left with a smile. In spite of some setbacks and tribulations, the amount on the check was identical to the original estimate. He wrote a full itemized description of the work for my records. I wish to address the one "B" that I awarded in spite of my list of "A" ratings. It was for "responsiveness." I have a point. It is that Roger is not a businessman at a desk. The time that he had to get back to waiting clients was after he had finished a day's work with me. The "phone tag" that I mentioned might have been a bit annoying (and the Holidays complicated all our lives and schedules) but it is directly connected to the amount and intensity of attention that he gave to me once the work started, and that I have to deduce he was giving to previous clients while I was waiting. Absolutely no regrets. Roger and his staff are gentleman craftsman, and I'll gladly wait for him again. If the reader has other priorities, I wanted to share my own trade-offs.

I was not able to have the work done the day he was supposed to come because it was raining heavily and I hadn't had my basement work done yet. Roger called me back a few weeks later and came and installed a few outlets and fixed my broken doorbell. I would definitely use the company again The only concern I had with them, and with the company I used to do my basement work, was in both instances when i tried to use the coupons provided on Angies List, both companies stated that they had already factored in the discount when computing

The entire went very well. Everything Roger was asked to do was completed. I have not complaints. I will use him again

Roger was GREAT, called and e-mailed I became ill and he couldn't have been any nicer about all the e-mail etc, when I was able to have to here , he was on time, and very very nice also asked about a later job in our home. The job was done quick. I forgot to ask for my 10%off but was a small job will remember when we call him for the larger inside job. Would use when ever we need this type of job, GREAT all the way around

He completed the work within the time he had outlined. He gave me a very detailed quote, and gave me a reasonable price. It was easy to communicate with him, and he did a great job. I could not recommend him highly enough.
