We initially thought they were just typical contractors. Then, mysteriously, a light was cracked. Let that one go. The boss was a little pushy, but I thought it was just him being himself. He just wanted to get paid. 2 years later, we just found out that they did build up to code; different circuit breakers than what was required, and an overall crappy job. No wonder we just ignorantly blew up the main board on the 2nd floor. A NYC inspector signed off on all the work, so we'll be following up on that. It's sad that contractors like this are still operating. Do not hire them.
