Description of Work: I made an appointment with this contractor for the replacement of a built-in BBQ grill, concrete work and powerwashing of pavers. Nick arrived at the agreed upon date/time and walked me through my options. He said that he would get back to me soon with an estimate. After not hearing back from him after 4 days, I called the office and was told that Nick was backed up on estimates and that he had to look up the measurements on the replacement grill. I called back a couple of days later and was told the same thing. I never heard back from him, so I decided to hire a different vendor.

Description of Work: I sent an email through Angie's list web page and then called to make sure they received the email. Receptionist said she would make sure they called me back to set up an appointment but no one did. I called a second time, got the same response, but no one ever called to set up an appointment.

When the crew came to build the deck, they again were on time and did a very good job. I was very pleased. Other estimates that I got were higher. In the spring we're going to have them build a small roof deck.
Description of Work: They built a deck with Trex, a composite material.

From our first appointment with Mike, our meeting with Nick, and then experiencing the "workers" for the Trex and pavers installation, we were absolutely impressed. They listened to what we wanted, came up with alternatives that were better than what we thought about, and came up with a truly professional picture perfect creation. The job was completed in a timely manner, and they worked in rain and 95 degree temperatures. I can highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.
Description of Work: Complete removal of 20 year old wood deck. Installed a larger multi level Trex deck and pavers around a pool. Installed low voltage lighting and a separate pool deck for the above ground pool with storage underneath. Also replaced a very old well top with cedar roof and Trex cover.

They were professional and extremely clean with the work -considering they had to dispose of 20 years of gunk under the old deck - through our apartment and I never saw a speck of dirt! They also came when they said they would and always kept us up to date on any developments with our work. We had a lot of issues due to our co-op board and Nick has worked with us through each one. The deck is not only gorgeous, but also designed incredibly smartly to accommodate future roof work that might change the height of the deck(one of our issues) and provide for easy pick up and re installation for roofing repairs.
Description of Work: Nick and his team designed and installed a beautiful new roof deck for our apartment in Brooklyn and also tore down and disposed of the old, existing deck. They also created a privacy fence and planters and added a nice lattice work wall to cover the bars between our building and the neighboring building.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND WORKED HARD. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND IT LOOKS NICE. THEY HAD TO GRADE IT BECAUSE IT WASN'T LEVEL SO THAT THE WATER WOULD RUN AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. THE PRICE WAS EXPENSIVE BUT THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS WORTH IT.
