The plumber had some problems installing the faucet that I purchased at Lowes for the kitchen. I have an older home and the openings for both the faucet and spray attachment were too small. The plumber was able to drill the hole for the faucet, but unable to drill to get the hose to fit. He unsuccessfully tried to drill, to no avail, and I was left without the spray attachment. I called the office, and spoke with the office manager who said she would get in touch with the owner, and arrange for him to look at the job. The owner came by about 1 1/2 hours later, and figured out a solution to resolve the problem. He had the original plumber purchase a special drill bit, with which he returned with later that day, and installed the spray attachment. The office manager kept in touch with me throughout the day, and apprised me of times that I could expect follow up. She also assured me that the owner of the company would be by that day to look at the work as customer satisfaction was paramount. She followed up with a telephone call the next morning to make sure that I was satisfied with the outcome. JPI Plumbing went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Everything was fine. The service was fast. One plumber came out.

They took a look at a leak I was having into my neighbors bathroom. They did a detailed assessment and explained to me everything that was going on. They also gave me an honest answer of what I should do and what would be better for me. I have been in contact with this plumbing company several times and have had nothing but a pleasant experience with them. I would recommend them to anyone. In a city full of service people looking to make a quick buck, it is always refreshing to find an honest and trustworthy company. They are the best.

Everything went well, the worker who showed up did the job as described and cleaned up well after complete. I was not sure if he was a licensed plumber. He also went through how everything worked, exactly what he did and had us look for leaks. We had a quote to do the work prior to starting the job which I thought was very high for 2 1/2 hours of work. I was also unhappy with the fact that the plumber would not take the Angies List $35 dollar coupon off the price. He said we were already getting a 20% discount. So I think the coupon was wasted money.

He did a great job and was very persistent.

I bought an Angie's big deal for $39 to perform plumbing services with a $39 credit towards service. To tighten up a shower fixture nozzle, they quoted it would cost me $186/hour for labor minus $39 that I already paid for. I wanted them to stop a leak on one of my other fixtures and they told me that it was going to cost me another $205 and they hadn't even been there for 30 minutes! I told them it was ludicrous and did not have them finish the work. What a ripoff the big deal was!!!

I have used other plumbers over the years in NYC, this is the very first positive experience I have ever had. They are professional in the very best sense of the word.

I said, I thought the deal was, they come look at the problem and give an estimate. She said, that was only if they did the work. I said, the deal clearly stated that the $39 included a visit and an estimate. She repeated, that I need an inspection for $199. I'm still not sure what this deal is. I've reread the original as well as the email from them several times. I hope Angie's List doesn't become a cover for bait and switch schemes. I'm now very leary of Angie's List.

Worked relatively quickly and efficiently. Really appreciated them putting on booties so as to not damage flooring with work boots. Generally explained what they were doing. Given that all the work was done in about an hour or less, I thought the price was too high but I should have gotten a better estimate in the first place.

It didn’t turn out very well. I asked for an estimate for an outdoor faucet replaced. They said that they didn’t provide a free estimate. The price that they did give me was outrageously high so I declined working with them. It basically cost me to get a free estimate.

They were very professional and did good work. The only reason for the B grade is that I was disappointed with the price. I had purchased a Big Deal that was pretty inexpensive, for a plumbing house-call. It said it could be put towards plumbing issues that included toilet problems. The work was not particularly time consuming, so I thought it would be covered by the deal. I was willing to pay extra for new parts needed, but I feel like I ended up paying the full price I would have by cold-calling a plumber without the Big Deal.

I realize my error was not reading the "Big Deal" more thoroughly and understanding more clearly what I was purchasing until after the appointment. I had a few things that I thought needed repair. The shower heads drips (because I said leaks-wrong term, same with kitchen faucet, and my biggest issue was the flush on the toilet. When flushed, there's a sound that I had been previously told by someone else was caused by air. It's actually caused by a vacuum seal, but there is nothing wrong with the toilet other than the sound. The estimate was expensive and that was just to take care of the toilet, and I would have had to make another appointment, so I did not use their service. The customer rep was very nice, punctual in scheduling the appointment and quick to respond by phone or e-mail. I just don't know if I will use them in the future because I feel their costs are higher than I can afford. Thank you.

The technician called to say he may be late, but wound up arriving exactly on time anyway. We discussed the total amount that would be charged for the service, which was just what I had expected from reading other reviews. My bathtub was pretty badly clogged, but he cleaned up so well you would never know what was done. I would definitely use this company again.

Wanted grouting fixed in shower but plumbing guys told me they don't do that so I don't need their services. Their customer service was good though.

Excellent service a little pricey, but clean and fast service.

Contacted provider on Monday and requested 3 dates for service. Ms. Ann-Margaret was able to provide service within two days of my initial call. She was gracious, friendly and professional. Service provider (Junior) arrived virtually within the time period requested and immediately assessed the problem and provided a quote for services to be rendered. He left to acquire required parts and returned to complete the work. I was pleased with the work provided and received a one year warranty. Junior provided excellent service and I will use JPI in the future. I did not obtain cost comparisons from other service providers prior to JPI so I can only believe that the cost was fair/good for the work needed.

They were fine. They are personable and friendly and they were on time. The overall job was good.

JPI were very professional. They called to confirm the time they were coming which was inside the one hour window they first quoted me. The technician was very thorough, professional and advised me of costs implications of everything he did. BEFORE he did anything. the work was excellent. Customer service was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use them again. I was only disappointed in the overall costs. I use a plumber in my house upstate NYC and got "spoiled" by his pricing. althoughI new NYC would be more expensive I didn't think it would be approximately double!

Hiram arrived on time and successfully cleared both drains. The toilet required quite a bit more effort because we think the tenant dropped something hard and solid--other than the usual--into the toilet. Both the plumber and the office contact, Ann-Margaret, were polite, professional and on time.

I had chosen the Angie's List special offer of $39 for a plumbing visit to inspect the problem with my toilet. At 10 A.M I requested this service from JPI Plumbing and Heating on their website, choosing 3 possible days for the visit. Margaret called me within a few minutes to ask if I'd like someone to come within an hour, as they had somebody working near my house. I agreed, and Hiram was at the door shortly after. He checked the toilet, I agreed to the price he quoted, and he went to buy the necessary replacement part. He finished the job quickly and neatly. Everything works properly now. I would definitely use JPI when I need plumbing work in future, and recommend them to anyone.
