Description of Work: Ordered the service for 2 hours of plumbing with the intention of identifying the issue and correcting it as much as possible within the 2 hours. They did minimum maintenance and wasted the rest of the time telling me what's wrong, and countless Upsell. | |The initial work needed could have been diagnosed and done with maybe adding on another hour. Instead it turned into a 2 hour upsell session followed by an estimate I received via email for additional work with a high cost. I had another plumber come 2 days later, told me what was wrong and corrected it within 2.5 hours at 1/2 the cost. | |Nice guys who came, but its obvious this groupon sale was a upsell opportunity for JPI.

Description of Work: J P I plumbing did and excellent job

Description of Work: We needed a licensed plumber to change a valve in the gas line to our dryer. He did that, hooked up the dryer, and checked all gas appliances in the house.

Description of Work: Fixed leaks in both the kitchen and bathroom area. They were very friendly and informative. Since it was so many months I do not remember the exact date of the transaction. But they was very professional and offered advice on how to keep plumbing as trouble free as possible. I did think that they were a bit pricy but so far the problems has been solved. Would recommend them because of their expertise but not the price.

Description of Work: On the service date I called JPI to fix a leak in the ceiling in my basement, JPI Plumbing came and removed the pipes from the ceiling in my basement. While in the proceed of repairs JPI workers exited to my backyard to cut piles which caused a huge rustic mess which their workers did not clean up when sawing metal pipes that permanently stained my concrete in the backyard and along side my driveway with time. | |I Immediately called the owner on Saturday 6/14/16 of the mess his man made and he said over the phone that he will take care of the mess, just to call Ann-Margret on Monday morning and let her know. | | |I spoke on the phone to Ann-Margret on 6/16/14 office manager of JPI plumbing, and she dismissed and stated that her workers did not make the rushy looking residue in my backyard and along the side of the driveway on my property. She flipped it, and said I made the mess myself and passing blame onto JPI plumbers. The service was performed on 6/13/14 at 6:pm. |I said to her that I have the bucket which was used to carry the pipes her plumbers used with the residue inside the bucket that is on the concrete in my backyard and driveway. She said she will do nothing about the mess her plumbers made. I requested to speak with the owner and waited for a response, and got none after that. | |After calling back... all I received was the phone hung-up on my face multiple times. I did not disrespect nor raise my voice and I was treated like crap. I received no clean up help from JPI at... all.... | |So I had enough evidence from the sawed piles JPI left behind to take JPI to small claims court. I stated my case to the Judge and I won the case which the court gave JPI 30 days to pay the judgement. I contacted JPI to seek payment as stated by the court, and it is now over 60 days and I have heard nothing from JPI. I invite you to read JPI mission statement and you will understand the sentence that follows. Their work is absence of quality and accountability, so their is no value in their work. | |If there is any doubt in what I wrote you can contact Kings County Courts and search for the JPI and case status and their will be the proof of the court judgement. | |In closing not to mention that JPI price is extremely high which I paid because I was in need they have no accountability so think very carefully if you wish to hire this company (JPI).

Description of Work: Repaired Two leaking faucets. Tried to fix a shower switch that was tight but ended up making it impossible to totally turn off shower. Apparently we had a configuration that was so old the parts weren't available and putting in new plumbing was an expensive major undertaking.

Description of Work: I purchased a Comprehensive Plumbing and Water Heater Flush. They arrived in a timely manner. Flushed the Water Heater and checked all of the plumbing and toilets in and outside of our Brownstone. | |We had a leak in our basement coming from our outside faucet. They weren't able to fix it that day but got back to me within an week with an estimate for repair. The estimate was a good price for the work they had to complete around $1300.00. | |This would include installing a new line due. | |

Description of Work: He check all the plumbing and drained the boiler. My kitchen sink was clogged. He snaked it and it's working great now.

Description of Work: I had two leaks, they figured out where the leak was coming from. It was not a plumbing issue for the first leak. For the second leak, they fixed it. They provided the parts and cost efficiently and were very communicative.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $39 for a Plumbing Service Call, with Credit Toward Repairs. That went okay and he was polite.

Description of Work: They cleaned out main sewer line to the city main across the street. Fast, clean, and punctual. |Another plumbing service had said they couldn't clear the line and recommended a local construction company to dig up and replace my pipe to the city main ($$$$$).

Description of Work: My purpose for the deal was I had trouble with my 2nd floor water closet. |The water continuously leaked and I had to use the shut off valve to control the leak. It was a problem with the flapper. The technician called the office to get a price to replace the flapper and it was $395.00. I told him to forget it that I could replace the W.C. with a new one. While he was here I asked him to check my 1st floor W.C. He told me that it leaked at the connection , it was visible at the cellar. His office gave him a price of $395.00. I told him to do the work. He told me that there was no guarantee on this repair because the original work was incorrectly performed by another plumber.

Description of Work: We have a leaking faucet in kitchen. They diagnosed no leaks, but turn-off valve under sink needs replacing. Tried to repair faucet but will need a new one. They offered their own faucet, but we will shop for another one. After we get another faucet, will call them to install it and replace valve. No additional charges, just the $39 coupon!!
