Description of Work: I don't remember when JPI came, probably sometime in May. The issue was a slightly leaky kitchen faucet. The plumber arrived quite late - several hours after the appointment. He was very apologetic and got right to work. |Although he could not find the source of the leak, the leak appears to have corrected itself, or is so slight as to not be an issue.

Description of Work: Had two problems to take care of, they did the simple job and from there seem to be unable to figure out how to do the second part of it. got tired of calling and asking did you figure it out yet. |end result lost six weeks and have to start at square one again

Description of Work: I needed my natural gas BBQ grill to be hooked up to the gas line in my garage. There is already a direct gas line running to a furnace in the garage. I placed the BBQ on the exterior wall with the gas furnace on the inside wall. | I purchased the $39 BIG DEAL from Angie's List. Ann Margaret contacted me the next day and set up the appointment. The plumber was right on time. I showed him what I wanted done. He drilled a hole thru the wall, ran the attatched hose from the grill, and connected it to a "T- Valve". he checked for gas leaks, and turned on the grill to make sure the gas supply worked. | All in all, I'm a satisfied customer.

Description of Work: I have plumbing that is over 40 years old. One of the pipes leading from my bathroom sink cracked and was leaking. Note I have a pedastal(ceramic) sink. Which made it hard to get to the pipes especially since my bathroom is very small with little space around the sink area. | While repairing the pipe, another pipe broke ( not too unusual for original pipes) which resulted in having the entire pedastal removed and taken apart to get to all the pipes. He even checked to make sure the other pipes had no leaks. Orig job would have been a little over $300, but removing pedastal raised the price. | He was very careful not to damage anything in the bathroom. I especially appreciated his care and cleaning up afterwards (including removing the broken pieces) Too often I have been left with repair people who leave a large mess.

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet and consulted on replacing toilet and sink in bathroom. The office worked hard to find a time and day that worked for me. The plumber was helpful and efficient. I look forward to the bathroom work being completed.

Description of Work: They charged an additional $140.00 over the 39.00 coupon. I was given a 60% chance of successfully completing the job (stop excess water from running in the toilet tank). It didn't work. I paid 189.00 for my toilet to continue running excess water in the toilet, aka, down the drain. As a result, excess water bills. But they did say it might not be fixable. They could replace the toilet for $400.00.

Description of Work: I accidentally dropped my toothbrush into the toilet. My super was unable to retrieve it even after taking the toilet off its base. He told me to expect to pay $400, for which I might as well get a new toilet. I like the old style toilet - suits the old style apt. - and didn't want to be stuck with some modern thing. JPI's receptionist was great at explaining everything to me, and the two servicemen were great at their job. It must have taken them 30 minutes, but they finally wrenched the toothbrush out. They were also able to come at a time that was convenient to me, which was very much appreciated!

Description of Work: They repaired a leaking dishwasher hose and also a clogged faucet line. They need to come back as some of the repairs were temporary.

Description of Work: It was easy to schedule an appointment and send pictures of the problem. The technician was prompt and professional. Since I sent pictures he had the necessary replacement parts. We discussed the price before he completed the work. After he showed me what he done and answered all of my questions.

Description of Work: They replaced a leaking pipe that lead to the back yard. They extended the pipe to the garden hose spigot. So that it would be easier to connect the hose. They worked very efficient and they took the time to explain everything. Will be recommending them to my neighbor.
