All of the people at JP Stone Mart, Inc. (Joe Jr. Christine, Frank and Tom) were very courteous and helpful. They made suggestions as to what color granite stone would compliment my kitchen cabinets along with the color and shape of the tile which could be used for the backsplash. The installation crew showed up on time and did a good job. The granite was polished and had no flaws or defects and within a few hours the job was finished. Based upon my experience , I would highly recommend them .

Stonemart is a stoneyard on Staten Island. They provide granite and marble and do installation. The giant slabs of granite from all over the world are sitting out there, and you can explore to your heart's content until you find the one you like. Plenty of samples. The showroom had only limited displays, but we were able to find a color that we have never seen elsewhere (Nordic sunset). Frank was very helpful. We had a variety of edging types to choose from. The price we were given included all cuttiing, finishing, and installation. Once we chose our slab, they held it for us until the base counters were installed. Then Frank came out and measured, made a template, and took the sink. After that we went back out so he could show us the different ways they could lay out the pattern so we could choose where on the countertops the lighter or darker patterns would wind up. They were able to make a giant countertop that curved around on two walls out of one continuous piece of granite, including cutting out the space for the sink, so that there are no seems. They were also able to cut a beautiful curve that our contractor had designed, so that we were able to fit the largest section of counter in a narrow passage and maximize the counter space. For installation, three workers carried the two massive counters, one with the sink attached, and installed them without incident. We are extremely pleased with the granite, the finish, the work on the countertops, and the service.
