I was in the biggest jam!! Construction was starting on my kitchen renovation and we were (or still are) in the middle of an August Heat Wave. Jim Hall came in to save us. My unit wasn't even that old - but needed to be replaced. Everyone else was telling us about two weeks to deliver and install. Jim Hall managed to get it done in 3 days! The service men were awesome. On time, polite, neat, organized and efficient. What more could you ask for?!?! Jim was always just a text or call away and his office staff-- Ste'F'anie, Carolyn and Christine-- always called with updates and information. Thank you Jim Hall! You got my recommendation.

Jim Hall came to the house and met with me and gave me a fair quote. I did my research and his quote was the better of the 4 that I got for a Lennox Unit. On the day of the install there was a crew of àbout five people. Each guy had a task to do that they did quietly and quickly. They replaced my thermostat with a wifi model that is awesome. The men removed my old A/C and furnace and took it away. They carefully installed a new A/C condenser and heating furnace. They were finished before the time that they quoted. They cleaned up after themselves. Before they left they gave me complete instructions on the system and how to use it. I am completely happy with them and will HIGHLY recommended them to anyone. They even called to check up to see if I was happy with everything and to see if I had any questions. Jim Hall made this a great experience in a very hot situation. These guys rock!

We contacted Jim Hall by email, describing our problem. Jim Hall's techs had repaired our condensing unit outside the house a couple of years ago (replacing a capacitor) and we found them to be polite, competent and did not do anything to try to raise the price of the service call. Our HVAC system was more than 30 years old. The tech that came was polite, competent and instilled confidence. It was determined that the compressor in the condensing unit was running but no longer pumping gas. The technician also felt that the furnace would not last through another winter. Due to its age it was determined that the entire system needed to be replaced, which seemed to be a reasonable conclusion. The tech gave us a price for replacing the system. There was no detail, although the tech verbally described what would be replaced and the work that would be done. The cost of the service call would be deducted from the overall cost of replacement. We trusted his description and seriously considered accepting his proposal, but decided to think it over. Although hot weather should be coming soon (it was mid-May) we decided it was prudent to contact some other vendors to get their prices. We contacted two other vendors by email. One did not respond. The other responded promptly and came over, surveyed the HVAC system, and sat down with me to give me a detailed written proposal. The vendor seemed reliable, was able to provide a wider range of services (including plumbing work, which was a consideration for the future) and his price was $800 lower than Jim Hall's. We decided to go with the other vendor. We are, so far, very satisfied with their work. That being said, I would still recommend Jim Hall to anyone who needed competent and professional HVAC service. I would like to add a comment. Many vendors provide email addresses or other methods for contacting them online. It seems that some do not check their emails or contact forms. I find this unprofessional and consider those vendor unreliable. I am not always comfortable on the phone and feel that I can describe my situation more thoroughly and accurately in an email. Vendors who provide an email address of other means of contacting them online should check them and respond promptly.
