Their services are very poor. They don't know what they're doing. Do not use them because you're wasting your money.

Home Depot exceeded my expectations. From the initial contact at the store all the way to the finished project, very one was highly professional and made my project a high priority. The end result is just perfect.

This was a horrible customer experience. The third party company American Carpet South (ACS) of Home Depot try to lump us up for an additional $2800 to level the floor after they sent an assesor weeks prior stating floor was leveled. This happened the day of installation where an employee without introducing himself came to the home and without even entering the premises stated he was not here to do any work AND only to assess the job. It was puzzling to hear this after paying Home Depot a fee for measurmeng and assessment and taking off from work based on the dates provided for installation. ACS Employee never told us it was an additional $2880 and after we called to follow up the price went down to $2606. This conflict caused Home Depot to send out another assessor the next day and the price went down to $1558 for floor leveling only. The total price of installation was $5000 a variance of $2000 from the original price we paid Home Depot. I understand that the contract states there can be additional feed added, but this was a huge difference and confusing with the price fluctuations it sounded we were getting ripped off. So what happened after that? We cancelled the job returned most of the material that Home Depot dropped off and had a local tile company perform the installation. Surprisingly it only costs us $2200!! Job came out awesome and they did it in 2 days! So my point is be careful when using home depot and subcontractors, especially ACS who will try to lump you up.

It was okay until we told the salesman that we wanted time to consider his estimate. We informed him that we wanted to talk to other vendors to compare estimates. He continued to try and scare us into a deal by citing horror stories of customers who used other companies. He then told us we'd be missing out on his great deal of $35,000 to reface our kitchen. He said it was a one time offer. I eventual got him out of the house, and asked him to leave a written estimate to justify the evaluated cost. He refused stating that he didn't want us to use it against him with a competing company. Regardless to say I will never ask Home Depot refacing employees into my home again. I scheduled time for a free estimate and their employee refused to put it in writing. This company appears to be training conmen. I refused to fall for their scare tactics.

The Homes Services dept is very professional. The Consultant who came initially was punctual and knowledgeable. I was constantly updated. The technicians were timely, reliable and completed job on time. The cabinets are beautiful. The experience. was stress free.

Never showed up or followed up with a phone call

They are very responsible and responsive to my needs and provide competitive pricing.

Everything came in in good shape, the design staff was responsive and professional. the Granite suppler was also responsive and professional and they were very helpful when i decided to change the stone when i saw the whole slab, i would recommend they and use home depot again

I went through Home Depot flooring to arrange my parents' renovations before their move-in date. We were very pressed with time and typically it takes a few weeks to process for wood flooring, but the employees there were very fast and efficient in putting together the order in time and making the appropriate calls to ensure that my parents would have the job completed in time. The wood and carpet were installed according to plan and turned out beautifully.

Home Depot employees were helpful when able to find one. They were willing to help me with all my orders and questions. Like the fact that they offer zero percent financing!

They're okay. I like the convenience. The quality of work is very good and excellent.

The kitchen items and installation done by Home Depot was excellent. Home Depot was very patient with my design since I was changing my mind quite a bit.

I saw a crack in the tub and the shower doors are made cheaply.

It went fine. It seemed like they would have done a good job. Their price was much higher than the other companies. They responded quickly. I would use them again.

It was a positive experience, but we did not use them. The price was right on and it was what we wanted. They didn't have flexibility for some of the features that we needed. The person who worked with us explored all kinds of ways that we might need and some of the things were unique sizes, but Home Depot has standard size cabinets. The customized ones were not meeting our needs. They were professional, very helpful and creative in terms of trying to figure out to deal with the situation. They did their job well. It is a 100-year old house. The price was right on. They did well with what they did.

Guy gave me every detail of the job which made it easier to know what to look for with others but their price was the highest of 5 estimates

We go there occasionally and our overall experience with them has been positive. Everything there is accessible and there is always somebody there to help us. We usually go there to purchase knicks and knacks, large and small appliances and stuff like that. It has been a totally good experience. Their prices are fine and pretty competitive. The quality of the stuff that they have there is also good.

The design was fantastic and really afforded us a lot more cabinet space than before without changing the basic footprint of our small kitchen. The installation was professional and timely. I would recommend them.

The price they charge was good and the installers are good. They were experienced. Home Depot is helping us choose appliances. They help us in measuring and giving estimate so that the appliance that we bought would fit in out house. They were really helpful.

The agent from Homedepot was very friendly, professional and was not crazy high pressure. Gave us several options and explained all grades of installation, material, and also workmanship guarantees. Went with Timberline HD, checked and removed all rotting wood from the old roof, flashed and channeled our chimney gaps, covered all piping and vents. and graded and level our gutters. They were done in 2.5 days for the entire job. since our house is ranch style - our roof is almost 3000 square feet which is a large area of coverage. Homedepot gave job to one of their agents which was very professional and friendly as well. With their best plan guarantee 25 year workmanship and 50 years for material which gave me peace of mind. Any other small company that offers it I would not even trust, what is the chance of Homedepot will no longer be around in 25-50 years. I can't say the same for most smaller companies. Could have done it for less probably but probably would have needed replacement 10-15 years laters or maybe even sooner.

Every time I spoke to someone at Home Depot over the phone, the individual appeared to resolved the situation, so that I felt and quot;pleased.and quot; A questionnaire followed, which I had agreed to answer, asking how things went. I always used the highest rating. However, soon afterward, whatever had been promised was not done. I did not receive the higher level service that I had requested. I was told more than once not to sign off on the delivery until the unit was installed and working, but the unit was not installed. In NYState, a plumber is required to be present at the installation of a dishwasher. One was promised, after a special call on my part, but none appeared, and I had to make installation arrangements on my own. I had to sign the paper about the delivery anyway, and we had to write in a special disclaimer that the unit had not been installed and proved to be working. I decided to upgrade the unit after placing the order, and although they promised this would go smoothly, I was not charged except retroactively to the date of purchase about a month later. Not such a big deal, but it threw off some personal accounting arrangements I had made. The dishwasher is now installed and working, but my complaint about Home Depot is that they were not honest on the phone; they promised things that they did not deliver and it caused me extreme discomfort, wondering how and if the unit would be installed correctly. Worse, they had these and quot;dishonestand quot; surveys right after my phone calls. I guess that ones who answered the phone were aware of this and would tell me that whatever I asked would be agreed to so that I would feel good at the end of the call.

Installation was quick and done very well. I thought the cost of $2300. was high. Also, the gutters now do not clog up with leaves, however, they do get a lot of twigs and branches that stay on the gutters and as a result in a heavy downpour water flows over the gutter onto out windows.Our home is a colonial, and situated in a wooded area with over hanging tree limbs. Over-all we are satisfied with the work
