Not good at all--extremely overpriced.

Harvey is professional, polite and did a great job. He came early in morning, before a previously scheduled job, just to secure the attic drop down stairs which were hanging from the ceiling. Was neat and cleaned up when job was finished. Would recommend and hire him again. Called a couple of days later to follow up.

Job went exactly as planned and look forward to working with this company for my next job.

He was professional, reasonably priced and did a great job. They worked hard all day and we are very happy with the results. We will be using him again when more work is needed around the house. I highly recommend his services.

Harvey, at first, estimated $400 in parts; then I said that his $200 estimate for the small Anderson window may be low; he then updated his parts estimate to be $500, and his labor cost to be another $500; he then asked for an $800 deposit, and I would not normally pay such a high deposit, but I trusted the many positive reviews, and paid him the $800 cash; he called days later and asked if I want him to come to do all the work except for the window replacement since it was still on order; I said yes; he came and did the window lock, and installed the 2 banister extensions, but there was writing on it that was not sanded off and no polyurethane was applied to match the existing banister;. he said that he would take care of it when he comes back to do the window; he called me around 7:30 AM on the next Saturday to tell me that the window was in, and that it cost $200, and we made an appointment for doing the work on the upcoming Tuesday; I called him back and asked him to bring all the receipts when he came on Tuesday (since I knew that his parts estimate was more than $100 over his cost); he then angrily said that he was not going to any more work for me because I asked for him to bring the receipts; he did come and give me the new window and he let me glance at 2 receipts, one was $200 for the window, and one was for a little over $100 from Home Depot (; I could not see it clearly in his hand). I asked if I could make a copy of it, and he said "no". So, this guy, Harvey, who claims he is not a thief, kept the entire $800, and left almost all the work not done; if that is not the definition of a thief, I don't know what is!

Harvey was very professional he showed up at my home and gave me an estimate. We signed the contract but due to bad weather lots of rain the job kept getting pushed back. Harvey was very good with rescheduling and came on a sunday and completed the job. The job came out excellent and i would recommend harvey for any work you need done.

The job was completed in a timely fashion. The workers were punctual and cleaned up after each day. I was fully satisfied with all of the work and would definitely hire them again.

Harvey was great- showed up 45 minutes EARLY and did a great job. Neat, great work and when installation got a little tough because of the location of the opening in my house he calmly & patiently figured out how to make it work. Highly recommend him!

I hired Harvey to remove my rugs and layout some tiles. I have room that I barely ever use in the lower level of my house because the rugs were just disgusting and there was no need for the room at the time. Having my older son home from college I wanted to provide him with a space where he can sleep and be comfortable. When I first found Harvey online, I was very worried because I had never used him prior to this one time and didn't know much about his work. I am so glad I took the chance and hired him. It was the best decision I made. He was very clear on what material I needed (since I wanted to buy it myself) although he offered to pick it up for me. He also told me to call him when I get to home depot just so that he can speak to the Flooring department himself and be able to explain to them what I needed exactly. Harvey was very punctual, he told me he would come early in the morning (because I was off of work) and sure enough he was there by 8 am ready to work. Very patient with me while I removed some furniture (although I was instructed to remove it the night before). he waited and once we were done, he got right to it and was done by late afternoon. The work he did was very neat and I would definitely use him again for my other rooms. The removal of the rugs gave the room a whole another look. It was amazing and made me want to do the rest of my house.

He built a new frame and reset the window. He and a partner performed the work in a couple of hours. The work came out very well. They used high quality materials. I plan on hiring again.

It went excellent. Harvey was a great guy installed the new steps perfectly and also painted the panel too. He also relocated the light in attic. Everything was done perfect. Made in-laws very happy.

I called Harvey in late October for an estimate to run some coaxial cabling in the walls. He came by my place, looked at the job and gave me an estimate of $700.00. He seemed anxious to do the job but he wanted about 2/3 of the cost of the job up front which I thought was too much. When I asked why so much up front Harvey stated that he had to buy all of the materials. I then said I would think about it. We happened to speak on the phone again a few days later and I asked Harvey how much would the job cost if I provided the materials. He stated for the labor alone it would be $500.00. I said let me order the material and I will get back to him. I called Harvey back couple of weeks later on November 16 after I had ordered all the materials and told him I was interested in moving ahead with the job. He asked me how much he quoted me (apparently he doesn't write anything down) and I told him $500.00. He stated “I thought it was more than that.” I reminded him that he quoted $500.00 for the labor only. He then started complaining that he was probably the cheapest bid and that’s why I wanted to go with him. (He apparently felt that he underbid the job.) Now he starts telling me how busy he is and that the earliest date he had open was in mid-December. I said okay I’ll wait and I requested that he drop off a copy of the contract so I could review it in the meantime. He still wanted me to give him a deposit of $300.00 for a $500.00 job at the time the contract was signed. I said I would give him $250.00 down which he agreed to and he said he would drop the contract off in the next 2 to 3 weeks since he was so busy. I knew at this time he was never going to do this job based on his attitude on the phone. Sure enough he called me back 2 days later to say he was too busy and that I should get somebody else to do the job. I am happy that I did not use him because Harvey is unprofessional and untrustworthy. Also I noticed on the Angie’s List website Harvey is NOT licensed, NOT insured and NOT bonded so anybody using this company is taking a big risk. The company I ultimately chose to do the job did not ask for payment until after the job was completed. They were also licensed and insured.

I was satisfied with Harvey recommendations and honest advise.

Harvey came and gave me a quote and was there 2 days later, as agreed, with 3 new doors and frames. He installed them perfectly and the whole process was very easy and professional. I would definitely recommend him and am in fact using him for a new project next week.

The provider gave a specific time frame and the work was completed within it. Provider was always puntual and cleaned up after job was completed.
