The garden shed was in dire need of repair. The siding had broken open in the back of the shed and the flooring was also damaged from rain that had gotten in. The doors were difficult to open (sliders) and were binding. It was looking like an eyesore. I contracted with Harvey to reside it with vinyl and new sheathing underneath and new floor, fix the doors so they would not bind and put in a new window for light and ventilation. Also I wanted to remove the old flat roof panels inside the shed that remained when the shed roof was changed from a flat roof to a peaked roof some time ago to access more storage area above. They began the work on time, when he said they would, and always called to let me know if there would be a change in his schedule. He always made suggestions to help with my choices and went out of his way and out of state to acquire the color siding I wanted, sitting in traffic the whole way back.. He was very accommodating and professional and took what was an old deteriorating garden shed and made it look amazing. I am so satisfied with the look and function of the shed now. It looks amazing!.

Harvey and his team performed a great service my bathroom floor was caving in due to a water leak and toilet was uneven. I called heartland village handyman services and Harvey came gave me a reasonable price and got to work right away he removed my existing floor and installed new subfloor and also installed new porcelain tiles also new toilet and painted entire bathroom. He also notice black mold building up in my finish garage due to the bathroom leak they removed the ceiling Sheetrock air out the surface and installednewsheetrock. I am grateful I found him and contracted him to perform my project i highly recommend him for your next project he is honest, reliable,and has affordable prices.

It went well work was completed it also turned out I had a valve leaking as well he came out next day to fix that as well the price reflects both days to come out

It would have went great if he would have done the right job. Angles not meeting up, screws not centered where the wood has split and the spindles have come out, steps are loose, tar from the roof that he has put down is all over my deck.. after speaking with him he got very defensive and refuses to come back to rectify his crews errors.. I would not recommend... get multiple opinions

It went very well. After two other contractors failed to return my repeated calls and one just didn't show up for an estimate, Harvey was extremely professional. He not only returned my initial call the same day, he called to confirm the time for his first visit and called when he was running a bit late. Although we thought his estimate was somewhat high at first, we felt we could trust that he would deliver and deliver he did. His crew worked very hard, finished the project in one day and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use him again.

The overall experience was very good. Their responsiveness was fine. Everything was fine. It was just that their estimate was a little higher than somebody else's, and I decided that I would wait till next year to do it anyway. There was nothing wrong with the estimate or anything that they did or said. It was fine. I'd give them an A on everything. I might use them again, depending on where their estimate came in compared to other people. For my needs, their estimate was close but not that close.

Harvey was great in coming out to provide a great estimate for our deck and other backyard features! He was on time and looked at the project based on budget needs which is admirable in any type of home repairs! We will definitely call him for future house repair needs!

Harvey (Heartland Village Handyman) came to our house for an estimate. I spoke to him twice on the phone to confirm the time. After he wrote down the estimate, he charged us $75.00. NOT ONE WORD WAS SAID TO US REGARDING A CHARGE OF $75.00 FOR ESTIMATES, WHEN WE CHECKED ANGIES LIST FOR GENERAL INFORMATION IT ALSO STATES FREE ESTIMATES. He told us if we use him the $75.00 would be taken off the bill. We didn't use hime because we found someone cheaper. So Harvey you owe us $75.00 for not being up front with us.

Harvey and his team did a wonderful job installing ceiling fans in two of our bedrooms. He is great with his timing and responds right away, which is unfortunately hard to find with contractors in today's day in age. He offers reasonable pricing and is a professional. We plan to utilize his services again!

Harvey's communication is probably the best of any contractor I've ever experienced, his prices are very fair, and he's punctual! My floors look like new and the walls came out beautifully, you can't even notice the spots that were so severely damaged before! Once the primary work was finished there were a few minor touches that needed to be addressed and Harvey came personally to oversee everything was done perfectly! You'd think it was his own house he was working on, he took such care! I can not say enough good things about this man and his work, take it from me I'm as picky and as much of a perfectionist as they come! For any contractor needs, look no further than Harvey at Heartland!

I started with exterior painting and shingles and kept moving on to the roof and then a lot of work inside with painting and sanding floors and doors. It speaks for itself. I would have stopped with the exterior painting, but Harvey is easy to work with, trustworthy and does a great job. He always responds to messages right away and follows up on everything he promises. During the roof demo the sensor for the sprinkler system got lost and he replaced it. Also he replaced my ethernet wire to make sure my internet was running again after it was reconnected. He looks after every detail.
