+ -1 moreMr. Galante came on time and gave us an estimate that was higher than any other company that we contacted. He told us that he would not budge from his estimate of $12,700 for gutting our average size bathroom. Several other companies gave prices that were at least $1,000 less that his estimate. However due to his high reputation we might consider using him for other home improvements or repairs.
Description of Work: We did not hire him as his estimate was too high and he would not consider a lower price.

+ 0 moreOverall, I am not too happy with his work. The sandpaint is too thick and stands out in these areas. The ceiling was not/is not completely painted-you see the roller marks and the areas that were left unpainted.
Description of Work: I'm not sure of the total, but I do know his prices were very reasonable. His worker wired and hung a small light fixture in the kitchen while he got my doorbell to work half-way. He re-sandpainted a few areas of the ceiling and then painted the ceiling. Perhaps he did a few other things, I truly don't remember.

+ 3 moreThe experience was great. They start on time and are very professional. They are perfectionists. They leave the work area spotless. They dealt with everything that came up. They had to move the gas line to accommodate the new stove. They know what they are doing. They also put in a new water line for the refrigerator ice-maker. They had to disconnect all appliances in the kitchen and laundry room to give us a quality floor installation. They were great. The kitchen is beautiful.
Description of Work: Goldfinger did an excellent job of installing a laminate floor and back splashes in our kitchen. Goldfinger also installed a slide-in stove and a stainless steel kitchen sink. This company does outstanding work and is a pleasure to deal with. The kitchen looks beautiful and there was no aggravation. They do what they say they're going to and the prices are great. We've used Goldfinger many times in the past ten years. They've done roofing, skylights, siding and a new front door. We've been very pleased with every job.

Everything was done to perfection and I was treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. I would recommend Goldfinger Construction to anyone who needs a contractor and I know you will not be disappointed. He stands by his work and is always available in case of future problems, which I have never had.
