If someone had sanded too aggressively or dug into the tile edges too much, they would have marred what have turned out to be beautiful floors below the glue and vinyl. His main person on my job was extremely detail-oriented and cared as much about my satisfaction with the floors as I did. He had challenges in working with the heating ducts covered during sanding while we had a major dip into the single digits but he didn't waver or complain and we worked out portable heaters to keep things comfortable. They use Bona products which are very high quality and they have great expertise with the kind of issues that arise with 100-yr old floors in brownstones. I couldn't believe how beautiful they looked after sanding, then after sealing and with a satin top coat, they were awesome. I don't think I would have gotten anywhere near this result using another company. David and his team really take pride in their work. The pricing was very fair given the prep work and the square footage. Although there are many original details in the home that could have been damaged by carelessness when moving the heavy equipment around, I had no concern about David's team. Two things: (1) David is gaining a well-deserved reputation for excellence so he's busy and may need a reminder to get you the estimate--especially if you're eager to get started; I got mine as soon as I texted him to inquire; (2) his crew knows what they are doing and the primary guy on my job was great answering questions but I also felt better getting confirmation on a few things from David as well. Texts worked effectively for that. Could not be more pleased with the quality of the floors!

He was unresponsive and never sent the estimate that he said that he would send. He has not returned any of my phone calls.

They were very prompt, always on time. I like they way they worked. They did an excellent job. I was really amazed at how good and professional they were. They answered all my questions in a professional manner.
