The mortar in the old steps was flaking off. The railings were no longer anchored. And most dangerous was a top step that was too narrow. You would have to back off the step to open the front entry door. Sidewalk leading from the steps to the city sidewalk was uneven and cracked. Mr. Forte worked with me on a plan of correction. Extending the the top step, widening the sidewalk and using beige bricks ( that matched the siding) were suggested. Arrangements were made for the work to begin early November. Following the arrival of Superstorm Sandy, I was prepared for him to postpone my relatively small job. That did not happen. As planned he arrived with a crew of workers and proceeded to complete the job without interruption. The steps and sidewalk are beautiful! In the spring, I will be hiring him again to fix my back steps and foundation. I would recommend this company to others.

He completely removed old deteriorated steps, pored new footing and laid new steps. Was present entire time, he did the work along with his son and 2 helpers. All are very professional. The job is beautiful and the clean-up was very considerate. He did other small extra repairs that I requested, bricked the top step as I had asked. I would use him again and highly recommend him. Thanks for a job well done.

Totally happy. I am using again. Did excellent work. Did sidewalk and cobblestone. Looks great. Prompt and personable. Nicely cleaned up.
