Great, 2nd time we used them, all god

It went very very bad. 1. They can't give you an appointment time. They give you an 4-hour window. They call you on the same day that your "appointment" is, and tell you that the appointment is cancelled because the agent who answered the call yesterday is not qualified to give the schedule time. 2. It is stated on their website "FREE Quotation". Wanted a $200 deposit for them to come and confirm the dimension of the doors that we want to order. 3. They tell you to take the business somewhere else, because they are "Christie Overhead Door" and they have plenty of business.

We have no problem with the price, nor quality of the materials or workmanship. The reasons we lowered the grade are as follows: 1. We were told when we received the original estimate that the work would be performed in about 3 weeks from that date. It actually took over a month to get the appt. and we were never given an explanation nor an apology for the delay. 2. There was a relatively simple question regarding whether or not we were entitled to a discount through Angie's List that could have been resolved in one phone call. Instead, it took four phone calls over the period of a week to get resolved. 3. This is the main and most serious issue. When the appointment was scheduled and confirmed, we were told that the technician would be arriving between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. When he hadn't shown up by 1:00, my wife, who had been waiting all morning for him, had to call the company to find out what what happening. She was told that the technician was having a problem with his first job, and it was taking longer than anticipated. The appointment was rescheduled two more times later that day, and each time when the technician had not showed up within the time frame, it was my wife who AGAIN had to call the company to find out what was happening. By this time, it would now be well after 3:00 before the technician would even get to our house, and since we were told that it could take 5 hours or even longer to complete, it seemed obvious to us that the job would have to be rescheduled for another day. However, it was only after a rather vehement protest on our part, were we able to get the company to agree to reschedule.

Great! Quick and easy. Even came out a month later to fix the stripping.

Everything was great with that. I chose them through Angie?s List. They were just very nice to deal with. They were prompt. They returned my calls. They were just pleasant to deal with. They did a great job. They did a wonderful job. I can't compare their prices to others but I guess it's compatible. The quality in terms of the product is very good, very nice and it's beautiful. They were very prompt. they called me when they were coming. They called me when they were on their way. They were very good to deal with. I had a minor issue which was no big deal and they just came back and took care of it so it was no problem. They were great to deal with and even the office staff was wonderful.

Was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. It was the outlet that was broken that the opener has originally been plugged into.

Excellent service will be sure to use again.

Andrew showed up to our meeting ontime and provided me with an estimate on the spot. The price was right and job was done within the promised time frame. Job was done professionally. I'm extremely satisfied with their job.

I met with the owner, Andrew, who was prompt, courteous, and thorough. I also had two more estimates, one from a big box store and the other a major retailer who both offer home improvement services. Needless to say, Christies was not only the most professional but also offered the best price. The whole process took approximately 3 weeks from order date to installation. The installer took 3 hours and upon completion thoroughly explained all of the features of the new door and keyless entry. It is my understanding that this company not only installs new doors but does garage door and opener repairs as well. I would definitely recommend this company for any garage door repairs.

There are no more details that I can tell you about because everything is fine. If this comes back to me again I will just skip putting in the review.

They were professional, courteous, quiet, and swift. I don't remember the name of the person who did the work, but I liked that he took the time to explain his findings and recommendations as well as describe exactly what he was going to do and why. He completed the work quickly and even went out of his way to clean the garage door seal, something not strictly listed in the service. My door now operates faster, more quietly, and the garage is warmer because the seals were adjusted.

called Christie and they had a repairman at our house in about two days - very prompt and they accommodated my schedule. After discussing the situation with the repairman, I had both springs and some other hardware replaced since they were here. The repairs were done timely and neatly. The cost for the service call was well within expectations - only thing I thought was a bit expensive were the replacement parts. I am a satisfied customer and would use them again.

All of 15 minutes but they were 4 hours late due to an emergency. The price for this service is now $79. The serviceman was very nice & did apologize for the lateness.

From start to finish The office staff at Christie Overhead Door addressed my questions and concerns. An appointment was set with a technician who arrived within the time frame that I ageed to; and completly addressed the mechanical problems with my garage door. The technician did not pressure me into additional costs with parts. Nor did he drag the work along to increase his fees. He went out of his way fix rather then replace one of the spring attachements that was giving me some difficulty. At the present time I am considering motorizing my garage door. We spoke briefly about some options; and it is my intention to have this company perform all of the mechanical work .

They were prompt and called before they came to the appointment. They did the work quickly and efficiently. I was happy with their work.

The technician was great, very friendly but professional, performed all services covered under the deal and also gave us a lot of good information about the system and helped us reprogram the garage door code, Very happy with the work he did. The only issue we had was with the scheduling - they were unable to keep our original appointment time, and it wound up being several hours later due to a repair job they had to do elsewhere.

They guys arrived on time and worked on our garage door. They replaced the cables, springs and rollers. |I would recommed this company again as they were very good and completed the job timely.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for garage door tune-up and replacement of rollers. The company contacted me promptly and arranged for an appointment. The technician arrived as scheduled and did the work. Everything went perfectly.

It was very good. I got nylon wheels and it’s very good and much quieter. They did a nice job. I paid another $99 for the second door. The gentleman was very nice. He was very timely and did a nice, quick job. I don’t think it took him more than an hour to do the whole thing. I was very pleased with him. The price was very good. The nylon wheels made a difference. It's very quiet as opposed to the steel wheels.

It worked out well. They came pretty soon after my wife ordered the deal. She was very happy with their work. It didn't feel like they had talked us into anything. They did what they were going to do and then added a little bit of extra stuff that seemed worth doing. It didn't seem egregious.

It worked out fine. They came out when they were supposed. They did a good job. Everything is still working right now. Everything was pretty much okay. He was professional and prompt. It was a good experience.

Provider did not call back as indicated. Did not provide a time for an appointment. I was told on Monday that I would receive a call on Friday after 10 to advise of the appointment time. They could not even give me a ball parl estimate so that I could make arrangments..By noon on Friday I still had not received a call back. I cancelled the service and asked to be removed from their client list.
