Russ did an excellent job. He knew right away what the problem was and was able to replace the starter on the spot. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Russ showed up promptly for the scheduled appointment. After a few minutes Russ diagnosed the problem and replaced my igniter. This resolved the problem. No problems since the repair was done. Russ also gave me a one year parts and labor warranty. Russ was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use Appliance R Russ again and highly recommend them.

Russ, the owner, diagnosed the problem, and discussed the pros and cons of repairing vs. replacing (22 year old machine), and cautioned against the expense of repairing. He promptly called the next day with the cost of parts and recommended against repairing. Russ was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and his price was very fair. A big contrast with my very bad experiences with other appliance repair people,

Could not have gone better. I'm now readying my apartment for sale. I shall call Russ to repair any of the minor appliance repairs in full confidence he will do as good a job as can be done by a mortal man. The charge was one-eighth of what the other appliance repair firm estimated. One-eighth!

Russ came on time. He tried a fix and said if it didn't work to let him know. After that, the unit worked well on high heat but didn't do well on simmer. I did let him know, and he advised that it probably wasn't worth repairing such an old stove and told me how much it would cost. I told him to go ahead and order the new part because I didn't want to bother shopping for a new stove right now. He did so and I made a appointment to have the new part installed. Once again he arrived promptly and worked efficiently. Burner is o.k. now.

Called on Monday; scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. Repair done timely and quickly.

Excellent! Russ showed up on time when he was supposed to. Evaluated the problem. Checked the entire oven (he did not want to make a repair and charge me if there were other problems that he could not fix). He fixed the problem,was very professional and pleasant.

I called Appliances "R" Us. The woman that answered the phone was very pleasant. Asked about the problem and took my information. She said Russ would come on Friday, or the following Tuesday. (I called on a Tuesday.). she called me on Friday and said Russ would arrive in about one-half hour. Russ arrived on time. Checked out the oven, he told me he wanted to make sure everything else was in good working order, before he replaced a part. If I could give him an A+ I would. He was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely use him again.

I had Russ in to see why the 2 year old Maytag would turn on it just buzzed. He thought it was the motor but showed me that I could use it by I moved the drum and it would start... He said he would hold off billing me until the following Monday so I could see that; if after a few uses it started up on its own then he would charge me a discounted rate for the house call. If not he would order a new the motor. The ordered motor would not arrive for a few days but I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks and my dog sitters would be working. There was no problem holding the motor until I returned. Russ installed it and the dryer is working fine and is quieter that before it broke. I would recommend Appliances R Russ without hesitation.

My dishwasher was leaking...Called Russ, He came, looked over my dishwasher, determined what the cause was. Part was ordered, dishwasher was fixed in 1 week. Fantastic service, would definitely hire again should another great appliance fail on me!

It was fixed in record time. We were so impressed that we have asked him to do some research on a part for our double oven.

Russ is the kind of guy that puts you immediately at ease. Very friendly and likable right off the bat. He found that my drain line was overflowing. He then went on to make sure that the machine wasn't having any issues. I then showed him an issue with my stove that was a simple fix. He charged me less than the usual service fee, which is a rarity these days and greatly appreciated, I have found my go to guy, for any further appliance needs!

Russ of Appliances R Russ is a treasure.he tested and re tested the igniter on my stove top to try to replicate the problem I was having. He showed me the proper way to turn it on. I mentioned the oven door would not close tightly. Russ happily adjusted the oven door. I also told him the ice cubes in the refrigerator were coming out hollow. He went to the water feed -made an adjustment . Ascertained I would need a valve replaced and perhaps a filter and that he would call me when parts are in. HOW refreshing -someone who appears to like his job and wants to make people happy - at least that is my impression. Do not hesitate to call him for your appliance repairs.SATISFIED CUSTOMER........

I was unable to schedule via the website. They just replied and told me to call them. So, I called them on a Monday and they came for the service call on Wednesday. They showed up within the window of time given and fixed the issue with a replacement hose he had on hand. No complaints.

This guy is great! I have never had such an easy experience with a service provider before. He came on time and identified the problem right away. He quoted me a fair price before he began work and promised me a year's guarantee. My oven was fixed in a matter of minutes. Honest, straightforward, pleasant and no-nonsense. He truly lives up to his reputation - for no fuss, call Russ.

These guys are fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and fairly priced. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling. The tech that showed up was wonderful. This is the best kind of Angie's List experience.

I made an appointment for 2-5PM. At 1:45 I returned home and noticed a business card tucked into the buzzer box. I called to see when they would return and was told they would be back by 5PM. I did not leave the house again until 7:30PM. Nobody ever showed and nobody called me. I left a message that evening on their answering machine asking what had happened. The next day the office called me and said the repair person had arrived at 5:30. This is not true as I was home the entire time and nobody buzzed (the dog goes ballistic at a buzz, so it is impossible to miss) and nobody called. I waited 5 hours and never got a call during that time. Even after I called the first time, the dispatcher told me she would call me back but never did - I called back hours later to ask for an update. This is the strangest experience I've ever had as a property manager and in the age of cell phones, there is no reason the repair person could not have called me. Instead he chose to come outside of the scheduled window at first (without notice) and then lied about coming back.

At the first service call, it was determined that the issue was with the gas feed, not the oven. Once that was taken care of by the gas company, a second service call was required because the oven wasn't getting hot enough. At the second visit, the provider made the repair without charging any service fee at all!

Russ was great. I've had this repair done before (by someone else), and was able to message him through Angie's List, describe what was wrong, and get an approximate idea of the cost beforehand. Since he quoted me a fair and reasonable amount, I made the appointment. The final cost was only slightly higher than what he'd originally estimated. When he did come to look at the dryer, he had the parts with him, and was able to make the repair right away. He was very pleasant, and made sure to clean up the area afterwards. I highly recommend.

Russ was excellent. Very, very knowledgeable about high-end stoves. Thermador doesn't even make this model anymore, they only do professional ovens, but he knew exactly what part to get and how to install it. Moreover, instead of buying the part and marking it up, he told us where to buy it ourselves. Very positive experience.

They fixed the dryer. Explained what the problem was and how to prevent it in the future. They gave me a very fair price The technician Dennis was professional, polite and on time.

Russ was super responsive and showed up exactly when he said he would. He had done the research and had the right part for a somewhat obscure German washing machine. People who repair Bosch appliances often charge an arm and a leg because the parts aren't easy to find. Russ charged a fair markup ($100 less than the first people I called!), had the part in his truck and installed it properly the first time around. Result: Old washer works like new plus a happy customer. Will tell my Brooklyn neighbors & friends to call him when an appliance breaks.

Dennis was great. I left a message on the phone on Saturday. Russ called on Monday and we set the appointment up for Tuesday morning (window of 10-1), which was my ONLY availability all week. Dennis called at 910 this am and said he was on his way, and if it was okay, he would be here in about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later here, 20 minutes later done. Great service, nice, nice man and would use them again in a heartbeat.
