Description of Work: It's a nightmare !!!, we are end it up in court to get my $6,500.00 down payment back .after 18 months dealing with this company and I got my money back. |The owner very nasty and rude ,he does not respect his costumer,did not delivery what he promise,for that i don't recommend this company to any one.

Description of Work: Mr. Ashley arrived on time to see the roof work (tear off & replacement of shingles), he gave us some fast talking regarding restoration of the building and said he would send estimate the following Monday. |That was over three weeks ago. I am very surprised, because he repeated numerous times how fast he could perform the estimate with his computer program that is very accurate. |Apparently he is too busy.

Description of Work: I hired ACJ Remodeling to do a complete tear off of my roof (house and detached garage), installing GAF Shingles with the Gold Pledge Warranty as well as stucco my chimney. I am very happy end result. It turned out all the wood had to be replaced and Joe gave me updates each day of how much being replaced. |I would use them again for another job on my house.

Description of Work: I'm not going to rate them because they didn't give me a chance to. I'd give them an f for customer service. The first time I spoke to joe and told him I found him on Angie's list and needed my gutters and leaders replaced. Joe scheduled a meeting and never showed up. I thought maybe there was a miscommunication so I called back spoke to his call screener and never heard back from joe. I truly understand that joe is probably very busy right now but he scheduled an appointment and didn't show and then when I tried to reschedule he didn't return my call. U just needed gutters and leaders but it would have led to other work . I would have understood if joe just told me it was to small of a job being he does a lot of other things and I'm sure gutter replacement isn't the majority of his business, so maybe he should remove that portion from his Angie's list profile . He wasted my time

Description of Work: I place a call today to ACJ Remodeling/Joseph Ashley...Joseph Ashley calls back. I tell him what kind of work Im looking for and his comment is we'll i find people on staten island are only looking for prices then go off the island to get the work done. He has my information and then tells me he is booked till August. I said why didn't you say that in the beginning of the conversation. He says you don't want to wait till August for me, I said no and he hangs up. Truly an unprofessional who needs to learn how to speak to people without all the comments and sarcasm.

Description of Work: ACJ did a bathroom remodel for me. The crew was knowlegeable and professional. They were hard working and were able to get the job done in little more than a week.They paid attention to the smallest detail and the bathroom turned out beautifully. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: complete roof tear down and replacement, with skylight and new drains and vents. work promised to be completed in 3 days and was accomplished in 2 1/2 days. workers were very courteous, on time and excellent with the clean up. i was completely satisfied, and will recommend and will use ACJ Remodeling Inc. services again.

Description of Work: My gutter gushed rain out of the middle. I live in a brownstone. Joseph Ashley knew exactly the problem and fixed it before the next big rainstorm. The workmen were prompt, professional, clean, and easy to share a space with. I will most likely use him for a new roof as well.

Description of Work: We asked 5 companies to give ideas of solution and prices on our leaky roof. Some came out with reface the stucco wall, some offered to redo the roof. Joseph Ashley knew right away what the problem areas were, explained them in way we can understand and offered a solution. Our problem was the water would pool near the opening of the leader pipe, but the leader pipe opening is fairly small so the water drains very slowly and eventually leak into the floors below. What Joseph Ashley did was o cut part of the roofing, resurface the ares, add a new gutter that ran across the width of the house, pitch it toward the leader. Now the water has a wider area to drain off the roof. So far, so good. We are very please with the work. They were on the schedule they promised and clean up all the messes from the work. We will gladly use them again.

Description of Work: Joe came to our home at the time he said he would and looked at what we were having trouble with, he was unable to help us with our problem, but gave us ideas of what could be the problem. Very nice and helpful wish he could have helped us, if we ever need anything done that he does we would call him .
