Mark came on time, looked over the word, and worked the entire time he was here. I probably could have done some of this stuff--I tried but had been unable to adjust the doors--but it would have taken me a month and a half because I'd find other things to distract me. With Mark's recent move to St. James, I was worried that he wouldn't work for me all the way out here in western Nassau. But Mark's good as his word--he'd promised he'd come as needed and he did. His work is as good as ever.

Discussed a list of small items to do within the 4 hour time frame. Negotiated what could be done within the time frame. Provided pictures beforehand. Handyman came without ladder and drill even though work was discussed and pictures were provided. He went home for an hour and came back. He took lunch. Needless to say even the first item on the list was not completed. This is a rip off. Sadly, it is women who are in need of this service. This is taking advantage of our resources and intelligence. I am suspicious of these other positive reviews.

The installation of the Door Armor went very well, and according to the manufactures instructions.

Dave was on time and fixed everything listed on the honey do list...........Professional and courteous.

They did the work in 2 days. Prior to starting, they would text me pictures of supplies that they plan on using. Mike was a sweetheart. He explained the process and provided me with ideas for the closet. This was the first major construction I've done in my house. I would definitely use them again.

He answered phone call on a Sunday and I sent pictures of what needed to be done. He called me back and informed me that the job could be completed in about 2 hours. I used a coupon for 2 hours of work for $150 and scheduled it for that Thursday. He applied three coats of spackle followed by one coat of paint primer. He was clean and neat and the spackle job was smooth and fantastic. No sanding needed, he used a wet sponge. I would hire again. He was a perfectionist and I could not have asked for a better job. Whatever little mess there was he cleaned up. Very pleased!

All went well. While I wasn't home (left 2 sons in charge) all seemed to go smoothly. Repairing stair to cellar was a big job, as they were falling apart. Got a few phone calls with questions, so that was nice that the checked in with me. My sons said they were very professional, explaining each step. Stairs feel sturdier than when they were 1st installed. Wonderful to have a microwave again. Meet with them shortly after purchasing service and they came to look over job beforehand so they knew what they were in for. Service was provided sooner than expected. so was happy about that. I really have no complaints and expect to have them back to work on more projects. Very happy that all went smoothly.

On time, very professional and did a very good job with the items I needed to be installed.

Communication was great. Always responded in a timely manner and took the time out to make sure they understood what type of work needed done. Mike was friendly fast and efficient. Really cared about doing the work correct. Will definitely use them again.

It was the coldest day of the year. He worked outside until the job was done. Then he hung 3 doors, He went abocve and beyond. I have a lot more for them to do

I would not use them in the future.

I think the door jam needed to be replaced as it is old and rotting. repair person just moved hinges to different spot on door jam. I felt like he just wanted to get it done fast instead of doing the larger work.

Originally I was not happy with the work performed by the first worker, but Mark came over and made everything "above and beyond" my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to call Mark again.

Prompt, courteous and professional in every way. The cut was clean, just perfect, and my kitchen was as clean as they found it. Highly recommend.

It went great. No complaints. He obviously knows what he's doing and went about all his tasks in a straightforward and confident manner. No problems at all.

I had some plumbing work done last month and there were a couple holes where they replaced the shower pipes in the wall. I wasn't sure how to repair the tile so I got the $250 4hr Handyman deal from Above & Beyond Carpentry. I called and spoke to Mark Wirth and he said they could do the work in the 4hr period. He told me what they needed me to buy before they got there (you supply materials and they supply tools) and we made an appointment. However, 2 days before he was supposed to show up I had to call to reschedule (I couldn't find matching tile). I found the tile a couple days later and called Mark back. He said his coworker Mike would be doing the work and he would have Mike call me to make an appointment to come do the work. Mike called a day later to make sure I had all the required material and we made an appointment. Mike called a couple times that morning before he came to remind me what time he would be there and to let me know he was pulling up in front of the house. I showed him what I needed done and brought the material to the front of the house. He went to work and did an excellent job. He was in and out of the house a number of times, but he to cut tile and obviously didn't want to do it in the house. He finished the work in just under 3 hours, cleaned up and was done (I wish I had anticipated he would finish with so much time to spare, I could have had a couple other things done). He said it would take a couple days to set and would be available to use. He didn't use much of the grout I bought so I had to pay $25 for materials, but when it dried it looked terrific (the premixed grout I bought dries gray and the grout in the bathroom is white so he used what he had on the truck). My overall impression of Mark and Mike is that they are friendly, professional and know what they were doing. I will definitely be using them again.

Mark came on time for an estimate for the job and was pleasant and professional. I understood that his partner Mike would do the work to fit my schedule, and he did an excelled job. It was a pleasure to work with people who took their work seriously, appreciated the look I was going after, and with whom I could express my needs and concerns since the 100+ year old room had many quirks and flaws that had to be dealt with.

It was great to work with Mark from start to finish. He quickly scheduled the service, provided great quality work, and is friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommend Above & Beyond Carpentry and will use them again for future jobs. Thank you!

The service was performed by Mark Wirth (owner/operator). He did a superb job, and was extremely efficient and courteous. He arrived right on time and performed a variety of tasks working virtually non-stop for four hours. Overall, he was a pleasure to deal with, and I definitely felt that I got my money's worth and then some.

Mark realized he was running late so he called to give me a heads-up and an approximate ETA. He arrived sooner than expected and immediately set up and began to get to work on his list of projects. He had everything he needed to complete all his work which was done with competence and expediency. This is the second time I have availed myself of Mark's services and I am extremely satisfied with the results. You'll enjoy working with him.
