Mark performed all the repairs in a very well done and timely manner. He's knowledgeable, thorough, patient, creative and pays attention to detail. He cares about what I need done and is respectful of my house and its belongings. I certainly feel that I get my money's worth when he does work at my home. I feel very fortunate in having found him and can always trust him to do the best by me. I'm bringing him back to make a number of other tasks including door replacement.

It went fine. It was very good, I kept him on as a carpenter. It was several projects that I asked them to do. When there are problems in the work that is done, the owner comes back and fixes them, without any question. They're hard workers, but one particular one was not as efficient as he could have been. The job didn't come out the way I wanted, so that's why the owner came back and fixed it. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't what I wanted.

TV wall mount and sink leak was fixed very good and baby gate install is just ok. But not happy with the door replacement. So much gaps in the door and cold air is coming in.I have to buy extra stuff to fix the gaps. weather strips kind of.

Above and Beyond Carpentry is a trustworthy company. They are on time, polite with a good sense of humor. When I asked for an estimate they were honest and suggested me to work on things step by step and did not require me to commit to a large work order. The work performed was of quality. While I am not particularly a fan of paying labor by the hour (I prefer to pay a fix amount per job) I believe the work was done at a reasonable pace with no waste of time. After the work was performed the house was left clean which is a great sign of respect for the home owners. I would totally recommend!

The overall quality of their work could've been a little bit neater. They were nice. Quickly took care of the job. The quality of the work wasn't up to what I was expecting.

The carpenter arrived on time and repaired the thirteen holes within 3 hours. Carpenter explained that the plaster needs 12 hours to dry before we may proceed with light sanding and re-painting the fixed areas ourselves. The work was done cleanly and to my satisfaction.

Work was done very well and within confines of offer.I was very pleased with all aspects of the job and would highly recommend this company. The person who came to do the work was very personable, knowledgeable, and conscientious.

It would have gone more quickly, except I realized I wanted it done differently. The carpenter had to remove the trim he put on two pillars, and had to redo the trim on those and do duplicate work on the remaining four that hadn't been done yet. So for no fault of the carpenter, he had to take two days to do the job instead of one day.

Mark was good enough to pick up the air conditioner from the store and he and his son removed the old one and installed the new one. He is very professional and knowledgeable and reasonable. Even though it was a very large unit and a very hot day they put the necessary parts together and and it went flawlessly. They cleaned up nicely and put the old unit at the curb together with the packing. I would not hesitate to using Mark again as he is a rare person who is pleasant, works with you and knows what needs to be done.

I have to say Mark was very through and competent in his job and had all the tools necessary to do the job. He cut and fitted the wood to scale and checked to make sure everything was lined up when the job was completed as far as the weather stripping and locks were functioning properly with the door closures in mind. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone for a competent and through well done job. I felt he basically rebuilt my front door frame and gave my home entry new life .Cudos to you Mark ...Excellent work

Mark did a fine job. He was very neat and efficient.

I spoke with Mark regarding painting of my two story foyer area. I wanted to see if a) he could do the work and b) if it could be covered for the $500 painter for a day coupon. He was very responsive and nice every time I spoke with him, BUT I found it odd that instead of making an appointment to see the space I needed painted and give an estimate, he wanted me to text pictures. I found it even more odd that he said he could do the work (again without actually seeing the space) and that it would only take the one day. I should have insisted that he come to see the space or just gone with my gut and not made the appointment for him to do the work. He sent his painter Mike to do the work and IMMEDIATELY Mike told me that he did not have the proper equipment to paint the space. I appreciated Mike's honestly and was thankful that he did attempt to do a job that he knew he could not do. I received a credit back on my card for the $500. I just want to make a suggestion to Mark.. ...Do not waste your time, your employees time, and potential customers time... GO IN PERSON TO GIVE ESTIMATES. Thank You.

I was not satisfied in how it worked out. The manager came with one of his handyman and he did a portion of the work. He left the other part for the handyman to do. Most of it was left for the guy to do and it was not enough time for him to finish what he did. When I called him about it he said he did some of the work so whatever is left I would have to pay differently for it. The way it happened wasn't the deal. Both of them were not working at the same time.

Mark called 15 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was on the way. He arrived at the appointed time The work was to repair a cabinet brace separating from the cabinet. Mark removed the cabinet and reattached the brace with nails and construction glue to make for a sturdy repair. The cabinet was remounted to the wall and doors reattached. Mark finished up by cleaning the repair debris. The job was finished in an hour. Hopefully the repair will last. I am very pleased with the service Mark provided.
