I had called this company 2 years prior and no one returned my call. This time they did and Angelo came out and did a complimentary eval of all my major trees for me.

I've had a lot of tree guys and I don't say any of them are great at but I don't want jerks, I wanted to have insurance obviously but I don't want somebody killed at my property or wounded. There are people who shouldn't be doing dirty work and these guys had a lot of dealings with them, I've probably used them 5 times and probably I remember hiring them for a full day, I had a bunch of things I wanted done and I said, "Forget the estimate, I've seen you guys work, how much would it be for a day?" and they said for 4 guys with the equipment would be $200 and I said, "Let's schedule it and we'll get it done as much I want to" and everybody would say it was a rough work, they're not a road crew, they're not a state broker, those guys worked. We had a storm a few years ago and everybody was looking for tree guys but I had called them during the storm, I said "It hasn't come down yet but I'm sure there could be trees down, I want to get out of their pieces", and they said "Yup, you're the first one to call, you'll be first" and trees taken down all over the place. It was nice but at least I got them cleaned up all over.

It turned out good. They were prompt. They did the work that we discussed. I did need them to come back to take down a couple of limbs that I thought needed to come down and they came back right away and took care of that for me.

When a summer storm came through the area last summer, 5 of our 100+ foot Pines snapped in half and came down near the house. We'd been looking to cut some down anyway, but that added a new sense of urgency. We tried, unsuccessfully, to get several tree services to come assess the job and give us an estimate on the work. However, companies in this part of the upper Hudson Valley are notoriously unreliable and we ended up waiting around for people who never showed up. I found Integral Tree and Landscape online, called to get more information, and got Mike Stein on the phone who assured me they could not only do the job, but would show up as scheduled. He arrived for the consultation as promised, and, as a certified arborist, helped us understand which trees presented the most danger to us, and why. He sent an estimate within a few days that was less than we had anticipated, and promised a full crew, with all the "bells and whistles" within a week, if we wanted. A 5 member crew showed up as scheduled, and spent 3 days taking down the trees we had agreed to. There was a slight misunderstanding over what they would do with the logs (which we arranged to have left on the property in a designated area), but a call to Mike resolved it, and we weren't charged the final amount until we all agreed the job was done to our satisfaction. A month later we arranged to have one of the crew come back to grind the stumps.
