They did a beautiful job on everything. He even refinished the whole TV stand in the process of fixing the wheel. With the kitchen table, he re-enforced the stem that connects the table itself so that the feet of the table would not go out of balance again. The rack for the spindle mirror looks brand new. You can't see any cracks on it, and it looks like I just bought it. The price was extremely reasonable. He was here on time and they remained professional throughout the whole process. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: There were 3 pieces of furniture that needed attention.. One was a TV stand which had one wheel that kept coming out. They had to put a new piece of wood in there to make it secure. I also had a kitchen table that needed leveled off. It was a bit off balance. There was also had a spindle mirror where the stand of the spindle was wearing down. One of the legs had some wood split and it finally gave in. They took the rack back to the shop to repair it.

I took an older maple dining room Windsor style chair to TNT. It needed three spindles put in the back and glued in, that’s all. They said they needed to make spindles, which isn’t very difficult, and he called back a few days later saying it would be $260. I had about $100 as a fair price in mind. I thought $260 was a lot since the chair was pretty inexpensive, and that I could just buy a new chair for that price. I told him I’d be by to pick up the chair and try to fix it myself.

I'm so happy with their work. Everything looks beautiful, the way it was meant to look. The table and chairs look better than new, as does the stained glass window and the trim repair on the bed. They were unable to find wood that matches the tiger stripe maple on the chest but chose a patch in similar color that blends very nicely. The guys were professional and timely and the turnaround from start of project to the return was surprisingly quick. I was braced to not have my table for thanksgiving (and this was July) given my experience with other strippers. But no! Everything was returned in about a month and looked gorgeous!! I plan to use them again for other pieces. Love Them!
Description of Work: I recently bought a house and was finally able to empty the storage unit I had FULL of antique furniture. Some of the pieces, although beautiful, were in rough shape. And one of the pieces, a very ornate bed, I couldn't even put back together. I had no idea that a bed could have 7 different bits that make up the headboard!! I couldn't get the darn thing together by myself and reasoned that an antique furniture guy should know what to do. So I found TNT Furniture Strippers by doing a google search online and liked what I saw. They touted their experience using non-corrosive stripping agents that are ideal for antiques and also seemed to have a lot experience with general repair. So I contacted them to help me get this bed put together. They showed up on time and prepared for the job and after a lot of huffing and puffin managed to get the bed together. I was so pleased, I contracted them to repair some trim on that same bed, strip/repair a table and four chairs, repair a chest of drawers and stripping paint off a stained glass window.
