We had a leaking pipe originating from the upstairs bathroom that eventually collapsed a portion of the ceiling below in the kitchen. Our plumber was Ackeno and he first came to assess and provide a quote for the work. We were in agreement with the work and the cost for the fix. He showed up the next day and immediately began addressing the issue. He was very professional, neat in his work and finished ahead of schedule. I would definitely recommend Ackeno .

Ackeno just left and he did a great job! He is straightforward and honest, hustled to get the job done (a leak under the kitchen sink) and was very fair and transparent with pricing. We hired Keno to install a new heater/boiler when our old one broke. His price was reasonable. He is very knowledgeable and professional. They wanted cash and did not wish to give receipts for their poor work, they did not check their work and missed soldering a joint which I completed before closing the wall. They refused to complete the installation of a shower body so now I am left without a handle to turn the water on and off. They are unprofessional and unskilled. Avoid them..

Ackeno provided me with a free quote and delivered exactly what he promised, including a drain pan with drain system to protect against water leak. I was considering between tankless and conventional water heaters, and Ackeno was very knowledgeable about both systems. He's very cost-conscious for his customers, and the price was reasonable. The water heater he got for me is a high-quality commercial one, which is more durable against corrosion. I'm glad I hired HSM.

My hot water tank was leaking and I was getting worried that it might burst. reached out to Angie's list and lucky for me that out of the many companies who could have called me. It was HSM piping and heating who called within 15 minutes. A gentleman by the name of Ackeno was asking me many questions, but all along he could hear the concern in my voice of how worried I was. At 8:00 PM. He drove the 45 minutes to my house looked at my situation and assured me all would be well until a new water heater tank was installed. Ackeno was very professional, polite, and most of all honest when it came to what the cost would be, and what he needed to do. Within 24 hours my new tank was installed. The old one was very corroded and had served me well for the 12 years that I had it. No one wants to have to replace a hot water tank but if you do Ackeno and his team will make it the most worry, free, and pleasant experience possible. I am so grateful that we had Ackeno and his team repipe our home! He is kind, amazingly communicative, and very accommodating. He could tell that we were struggling financially after purchasing our house, and he did everything he could to work with our budget, all while doing an A+ job. Originally I had posted a request on Angi’s for a main line replacement because I had already scheduled another company to repipe the interior. Ackeno reached out to me within minutes and said we might not need to repipe the main just yet and that if we wanted, he could give us another quote for the interior repiping. He was at my house within an hour to take a look at the situation and told me he could repipe the place in copper for the same price the other company was going to charge me for pex and he would be able to finish the job by the end of the weekend. He also pointed out some huge problems in our house (it was built in 1926 so you can only imagine) that the other plumbers did not catch. He also mentioned that there was no need to bust open the walls like the other plumber was going to do which was a huge relief. I thought the deposit was a little bit large so I was worried at first, but he got me on the schedule within a day and was extremely communicative. This first visit was on Monday. Ackeno arrived at our house by 9am that Wednesday and stayed here to do the job thoroughly until almost 10pm. The house had a lot of surprises along the way but he was determined to get through them so that we can use our water again. The repiping was a work of art - he swapped out all of our galvanized steel for copper, replaced the leaking cast iron that had probably been there for 100 years, cleared all of our aerators, installed a whole-house water filter, a boiler auto feeder, and a boiler switch valve (both of which were missing), and left the house cleaner than it was when he started. When he turned the main valve back on, the pressure couldn’t get back to where it was before which he said happens often if the main is the problem. He had some more work to finish up so he came back the next day to finish everything up. At the end of the job, our pressure was still abysmal because of the ancient main line. He gave me advice on how to talk to the city about it, but unfortunately they were unable to help. Seeing that I was defeated (and he probably was probably disappointed that all of the work he did, which had to be done anyway, did not resolve our pressure issue), so he called back me up that night saying he could he change the main valve which was under concrete to see if that would help. Sure enough it did and given how corroded that galvanized valve was, I don’t know how any water ever got through to the house. While I know I still need to replace the main eventually, I can at least relax for now and allow my funds to recover before jumping into more repairs. The job, which expanded beyond the initial scope, was completed by Friday afternoon. Every other company we spoke to was telling us they would not be able to start until at least another week and given we had pressure from our insurance to complete the job, this was a huge relief. I can now relax and enjoy my weekend. I cannot thank Ackeno enough for everything he did and for his patience with me (I asked a million questions). He taught us so much about our home and saved us so much stress and money. I can go on and on about how great he is, but you should just hire him and find out yourself.

A shame there is no option for negative stars here. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a "contractor." Ackemo lied, cheated, delayed, denied, and never got the job done, after charging us a painfully high price. Do not be sucked in - as we were - by his prompt initial response to your project bid. He'll show up right away, do some fraction of the project, bill you, never come back on time or as promised over weeks and months.

Turnaround was very quick. He did a free quote and installed a new water boiler within two days. He was able to answer technical questions and explain exactly what was wrong in terms I could verify. He also broke down the invoices so I make pay with multiple credit cards. He places a sticker on the boiler with his contact info incase there is ever an issue with the boiler. He also cleaned up after himself and helped me reorganize the boiler room after the installation as I also use it for storage space. Lastly, he carried the old boiler and put it in a storage area in case we ever need it for parts. His quote was $4,000 less than the quote provided by our previous plumber.

Ackeno of HSM installed a Navien NCB 240/130H and some filters, valves, etc as part of the install Every thing was great with the install and has been working great since. Communication was good and he did everything he agreed to, for the price agreed, and in the timing agreed. I have already hired him for other jobs and referred him to friends. Ackeno is my go to for all plumbing jobs

I cannot recommend Ackeno highly enough. He is a great communicator, truly responsive, clear and honest about the scope of work, careful and thorough in his workmanship. He does the job right the first time and helps you plan ahead for the future. We needed our entire sewer line replaced & he worked with us on a price we could afford for a huge job. He came and did an initial assessment of the job. He said that it would cost $175 and that it would be altered when he do the job. The service was not great it was catastrophe! He was deceitful, the problem is above where he was trying to check it to. I knew what the problem was, but he was trying to sell us something. We stopped the job, when he came back I told him again and where it was coming from is not the area where he said it was coming. He is not listening to what I was saying. I am just a little upset about that because he was lying to us. REBUTTAL TO PROVIDER RESPONSE: Correction: The job that was completed was not a separate job. It was part of the first job, thrown in as an incentive, when in fact he knew that that was the true origin of the leak. (Visible stains on ceiling tile and rusted pipe) Ackeno intentionally misguided us by diverting the problem to a lower stack pipe which reportedly would have to partially be cut and replaced. (A difference between $250 and $1100. Time elapsed because we questioned his assessment: it was not plausible. In hindsight, water travels down not up! Now we are left with repairing a wall which did not have to be cut. It's a question of integrity. The plumber's dishonesty is disheartening.

Worked fast, on the phone the entire time. Left an O ring out knowingly and a leak developed. Not the best work and overpriced. Also would not accept angi coupon
