The floors look great. A couple of repairs/replaced boards also look great. They missed some details putting closet boards (for shoes) back in place but no big deal. If I had reminded them they would have done it. I would certainly bring them back for another job. The cost was ~20% lower than what was quoted by the bigger name floor companies around town.

He did a marvelous job. It was reasonable. I think they did it one day and then they came back in two days in a row and did the second and third coat. It was very quick. He was efficient and he did a gorgeous job.

He did an excellent job. When they said they'd come at 8am, they were there at 8am. They were reasonably priced and the floors look wonderful. I can't say enough about them.

He responded to my request for an estimate promptly and arrived on time. As part of the estimate process, he explained the refinishing process in detail, including when we would be able to walk on the floor. His was the third company I talked to, so I had an idea of what to ask, but he had this whole spiel ready. His price was right in the middle of the four quotes I got, and it was exactly the same as another company, who also seemed very good. But Rob impressed me with his knowledge, matter-of-factness, openness, and professionalism. Also, I liked that he, the owner, was on every job, accompanied by his own selected employees, as opposed to the larger companies who send out multiple crews. I talked to him before the actual job, and he again went over the exact schedule, patiently answering all my questions. They arrived on time and did everything as promised. When we returned, I noticed one very small area where the final sealer seemed to be missing - "a miss." These things can happen, so I wasn't upset, and I mention it only because his response is important information. I called Rob, and he came over the next day, apologized, and took care of it immediately. The corrected area is seamless. The floors look wonderful. He was even able to match the old stain. As Rob had explained, while the process is not completely dustless, it is 99% dustless. There was very little dust, and only is some places, not all over the whole house. They obviously try very hard to contain the dust and clean up after themselves thoroughly. I am very happy with his work and recommend Robert Petit without reservations.
