Description of Work: We received an Estimate to replace our in ground pool lines, we were told they had holes in them (our pool was loosing a lot of water), the estimate was over $2,000.00 PK came out and saw a leak in our liner right away and patched it, problem solved and less than $200.00 Nice to have an honest person to work on our pool.

+ -1 moreExcellent, Jack does a great job! He was very friendly and professional, he made sure I was completely satisfied with the job. He explained everything he did and had to do, which was more than I expected. I would highly recommend PK Pools to anyone I know or don't know. We went with a 25 yr liner which was a much heavier gauge than the original, PK Pools gave us a fair price on it and it was easier on us than spending the money for a 20 yr liner at the same price online. Then trying to find someone to install it for us. I will use PK Pools again when needed.

+ -1 moreJack closes down the pool and disconnects the piing, adds approprate plugs, chemicals and installs my mesh cover.
Description of Work: Gary from PK pools closes mybpool every year and will install a new heter for me next year on my 11 year old inground pool. He does a great job with the closing and gets the chemicals right so hat the pool is easy and ready to open in April so I can use the hto tub attached to my pool. They have been great for me and I recommend them.

Description of Work: Jack has been handling our inground pool opening and closing for the last few years and we are always pleased with his prompt, excellant service. His price is very fair and better than his competitors and he has also answered numerous questions we had about operating our pool and maintaining our pool heater and other equipment by phone when we needed him to. Description of Work: PK Pools installed a pool liner in our above ground pool and did an excellent job. They were very courteous and professional. + -1 moreThe owner, Jack Dipaola, was very helpful and courteous until we encountered the wrinkles. He has tried to explain away the cause, and stating that this is a normal occurrence in pool liners. We have talked to numerous pool owners and none have reported wrinkles in the bottom of their liners. He has become rude and have basically told us we are unreasonable in our expectations about the wrinkles, that this is somewhat of a common occurrence in pool liners. We have recently contacted Jack and he has told us he is too busy to come back to try to fix the problem, and that in October it will be too cold. This is a very complicated problem that we have been discussing with him throughout the summer. I was wondering if a representative of Angie's List would be able to contact me so I could discuss the details? We would be very grateful for any help you may be able to give us. This pool season is running out and we need to have the problems resolved before the fall ends.
Description of Work: PK Pools came to our home spring 2006 to install an above ground pool liner. They proceeded to install the liner in the rain. As a result, the wet sand under the pool liner caused eight to ten wrinkles ranging in size from six inches to 18 inches. Another reason that may have caused the wrinkles is that the installer had poor visibility, so the wrinkles were unable to be detected during the installation. As of today, they are refusing to come back to try to remove the wrinkles.
