+ -1 moreWe're really pleased we hired Gene Marciano. He impressed us with his professionalism when he did the estimate, and we always felt the work was in good hands. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why and answered any questions we had - including about a step we were working on that wasn't part of the project, which was clearly going above and beyond. He clearly cared about the quality of work he did, and turned out a great product. On top of all that, he always had a friendly word as we headed out in the morning or came back.
Description of Work: Gene Marciano tore out our garage floor and replaced it with a new, sealed concrete floor.

+ 0 moreHe was very nice and gave me a reasonable estimate. He was very nice and very flexible, as he said he would do all he could do to work around the other person who needed start work first.
Description of Work: This was for an estimate for doing the sidewalk, the steps, and repairing and putting the protective coating on the foundation blocks of the house.

+ -1 moreOnce the demolition of the old steps began, it was the worst case, with the existing concrete going pretty deep. Gene did it all, including extending the steps more than we had thought would work, as once he started he found he could make it work and it looked much better. He did not charge me anymore than the initial estimate, and even came back a second time to reseal the concrete as he wasn't happy with how it looked the first time.
Description of Work: I needed some old steps torn out as well as some repair of the sidewalk leading up to it that was sloped into my house. Gene came out and did the estimate, explained everything, including that he wouldn't know how extensive the job would be until he saw how much demolition was needed.
