We’ve dealt with several contractors over the years and really appreciate the high quality and cost-effective approach that Brad brings to the business. We also appreciate that Brad responds to inquiries in a timely and reliable manner. We sought out Brad based on a friend’s recommendation. Brad responded promptly to our inquiries, listened to our needs, and made some really good design suggestions along the way. His cost estimates were reasonable but realistic. Once we had a contract and a date for the work to start, Brad stayed in touch as we selected the items on our ‘pick list’ and helped resolve questions and problems as they came up with our vendors. When minor and major issues cropped up during the job, Brad was able to resolve them to our satisfaction. Example: a vendor's cabinets arrived in the wrong color. Brad was able to negotiate a satisfactory resolution for us with the vendor which kept our project on track. The actual remodeling work was started and completed on schedule and within budget in a very, very high quality manner. Brad and his workmen were friendly, very competent, thorough, and trustworthy. The final result turned out better than we originally expected and there was almost no need for follow-up with Brad after the job was done. We are very pleased with the work!
Description of Work: We recently hired Brad Norbut and Frontline Remodeling to remodel two bathrooms in our home. Brad was very responsive, helpful, and engaged all the way from up-front planning through the final stages of completion. The work was started and completed on schedule, with almost no need for follow-up later. We are very, very satisfied with the quality of workmanship provided by Brad and his workers. Thank you!

We found Brad to be more than willing to work with tenants living in the house in order to get work done. He communicated with us regularly which was huge because we are currently living out of state. We wanted to update the house and maintain the 1927 character of it and Brad was able to do just that. He preserved specific things we felt are important to keep & found ways to make the new blend with the old. He brought everything up to what is current code as well. He gave us high, middle and low range cost options. Brad was honest and upfront about costs to the best of his ability- anytime you do a major project on an 80 something house, there are unexpected things that come up & Brad notified us when these came up and we weren't surprised with hidden costs at the end. The quality of work is wonderful. We saw our house completely finished for the first time this week and it looks like a new house inside.
Description of Work: Replaced all exterior Windows, storm doors, one complete bathroom remodel, updated and fixed second bathroom, laid hardwood floors, updated and consolidated utilities into a single service as part of a deconversion from a double to single family dwelling, leveled porch, repaired lathe & plaster walls, replaced oak trim, refinished preexisting hardwood floors & oak trim, coordinated sewer & water line repair.

Frontline Remodeling, Brad Norbut went above and beyond for my family and our home, by far one of the best personal contractors we have ever worked with. He was very understanding to our situation and the difficulties we faced. In January, my family experienced a house fire that destroyed our top floor bedrooms, roof, trusses, fireplace/chimney, and smoke damage through out the house. Brad came that very morning, dealt with our tears, crazy emotions, and got right on the job of getting us an estimate of all the damage, as well as his sub-contractors coming through right away as well. It was an easy decision to choose Brad to work with us, based on his past work and the support he showed us that very day. He made us feel comfortable while working with him through the whole process and so easy going with all our questions. He made time for us to ensure that we were happy from start to finish. Brad and his crew was always on time, on the job when stated. Brad was great to communicate with, quick replys, answered every question, every concern, even during weekends when we needed walk throughs. His crew was clean, organized, very efficient, and we felt welcomed and comfortable coming and going through out the process. The time frame the insurance had givien us for our home to be done was 6 months. A long hard 6 months to be away from our home. But Brad felt that and new how bad we wanted to get back in, and my personal goal was before gardening season, which Brad dully noted and easily met!!! The fire was january 11, and Brad had us moving back into our home April 22nd, which is absolutely amazing! Everything through out the whole house, the whole process, done to 100% satisfaction, we would, and will be hiring only Frontline Remodeling for any further projects. Amazing job well done!
Description of Work: Frontline Remodeling was able to give us a great estimate for damage to our home due to a house fire. Replaced all damaged trusses and roof, all new insulation through out attic. Resided entire house, repairing any outside damaged walls & insulating. Repaired and replaced all new ceilings, walls, and doors through out the house. Remodeled our up stairs main bathroom, added a new shelving unit, new sink with a beautiful marble counter top, new bathtub which is absolutely amazing! Tore out old fireplace, remodeled with new wood burning stove with tiled floor in corner of our family room, adding brand new waynes coating all the way around the room. Helped plan a new layout for our kitchen/dinning room/ living room area, tore out some walls, and added a gorgeous island with a granite countertop, opening the area up, which looks better then we could ever have imagined. New flooring through out whole house. Rewired the electrical box, along with other electrical work through out house, getting it all up to code. New fire alarms, outlets, baseboard heaters all through out house as well to meet codes. We never had to worry once about taking care of permits or inspections through the town, Brad handled taking care of all that part of the job.

It was important to us to retain the look of our house so we wanted green windows on the outside with wood on the inside. Brad found us that. He made some great suggestions and showed us pricing in multiple ranges. All of our windows open now, which before some were not capable of being opened. The porch reconstruction looks great and is more solid than it was when it was built in 1927. We consolidated utilities and installed a tankless hot water heater as well and everything looks great. The hot water heater is awesome. The job was done long distance because we actually live out of state and our sister in law lives in the house now...but she had nothing but compliments for the crew. They were there when they said they would be, worked with our sister in law as far as schedule of work went because they have pets in the house, and were neat. Brad was really pleasant to deal with and kept in great communication with us as to progress and unforseen issues that came up. We will definitely consider them again.
Description of Work: We had all new windows put in, resized two windows and added vented glass block windows to our basement. Replaced storm doors to the house. Deconverted our house from a double to a single- consolidated utilities, installed a tankless hot water heater. In the process of installing the new windows, Brad was going to level our porch which turned out to be a bigger project than thought because what we couldnt see was that the footers underneath were rotted out. Brad rebuilt them better than before.

The estimate provided was phenomenal in all but price. They took the time to explain every detail and answer any questions I had (which, as a first time homeowner, I had plenty). While I was unable to have Frontline do this project (the county program was such that I would have had to cover the difference between their bid and the lowest bid, which would have been an additional ~$2,000 cost), I will definitely call Frontline again for future projects.
Description of Work: Frontline came out to do an estimate on several projects to be done through a county grant program.

Brad was the only contractor that really listened to us on our first visit. Even before giving us a price he sent some info on where to get a type of vanity we wanted. If there was something we had in mind that he felt wouldn't work out he fully explained it in very simple terms as to the reason why. He gave us a wide list of vendors to select items from and budget prices in the quote to work from. He installed a new rear flush toilet to replace our old one which goes into our septic system. The other contractors did not want to do it that way and the systems they quoted were more expensive. The new position of the toilet was great and it works great. He knows what he is doing. During construction he communicated every day on what was going on and always asked us about tile layout, vanity, switch locations, molding, etc. There were no surprises during the whole project. I asked him if he could relocate a pot light removed during tear out into our family room ceiling and he did it quickly and at a very fair rate. They were as neat as they could possibly be and always cleaned up everything at the end of the day before leaving. I highly recommend Frontline. This was the most pleasant experience we have ever had with a contractor.

Brad Norbert delivered everything that he promised us. He and his staff are professional, ethical, arrived on time, clean and orderly. There are always stumbling blocks when a renovation takes place and obstacles to overcome and Frontline was instrumental in helping us get past them. Brad's experience gives him a clear understanding of some of these hidden obstacles and is able to anticipate some necessary improvements that we did not consider. Examples of this was to bring up to code the installation and upgrade the electrical. We have had many renovations done in our homes and I have to say, Frontline is right at the top of the list. We have recommended Frontline to friends who have contracted a kitchen renovation for later this spring.
Description of Work: We contracted with Frontline to do an entire renovation of a 1960 kitchen. It required new drywall, installation, ceiling, floor, plumbing and electrical besides cabinets, back splashes and counters.

This was a lengthy process for me personally getting all of this arranged, and choosing the contractor for the above described jobs - but I can definitely say Brad Norbut and his team with Frontline Remodeling do exemplary work. Brad is personable, professional, and very dedicated - working extremely hard to not only explain every detail of all the work he does - but also very honest and up front. While not the cheapest of contractors, as always, a little extra money goes a long way, as doing a solid job, staying in communication, and being flexible were the keys for me for working with Brad. I had a VERY large shed in the back yard, and wanted to have him move it, unlike the other contractors, he was honest in his reluctance that it could be effectively moved, this ended up proving true - and they demoed it at a reasonable price - and I picked a new smaller one which they put together rapidly for me. It is refreshing being told that a the costs for waste disposal were lower than expected, and being credited the difference without too much pushing from my end, as well as labor no taking as long as expected and receiving credit. Also any misgivings about tackling something - Brad lays his thoughts out right there - he doesn't just say no problem he can do it no matter what. This goes to honesty, and I know from first hand experience that it puts him in the upper echelon of contractors. The exterior work was done effectively, and the siding was subbed but done so transparently and quickly that I barely even noticed. The work was flawless here, and he even remedied some items at no extra noticeable charge that were problems with the house to begin with that I was unaware of. The bathroom job was the biggest - and this is where they shined. It was done very efficiently, and in a fairly short span of time. His workers were on time, generally friendly, and sure to clean up and lock up the place every day, as my wife and I both work during the day. Any issues uncovered after demoing a 60+ year old bathroom were immediately brought to my attention, and very effectively remedied. The quality work of was excellent, and any issues after the bathroom was completely done were remedied personally by Brad quickly - and you could tell he really cared. I take issue with some other reviewers who sometimes complain about minor issues after the fact and then never even contact the person who did the work who can easily resolve any issues as Brad did. Overall, I would highly recommend Brad and his company - they can do nearly any job and do it effectively - and at the same time you get to work with someone who is on the ball. He has earned my trust, and I would certainly highly consider him for future projects - of which he will tackle nearly anything.
Description of Work: There were 3 major things done: the demolition of a large shed and remediation of the area around it; tearing off some rotting wood on an addition to the house and adding siding, along with a couple of miscellaneous outdoor items such as new steps in back and railings on the front steps; and lastly the complete demolition and remodeling of the main bathroom.

It was the best remodeling job I have ever had completed see obove for details
Description of Work: Frontline Remodeling (Brad Norbut) remodeled our Kitchen, with new cabinets, lighting, sinks countertops etc. He did it all in 12 days (and that was due to it taking 7 days for the countertop to be cut and finished after the final measurements) just as his estimate stated. I have had many remodeling projects done and never has any been completed on time. They were here Monday through Friday for at least 8 hours with no more than 30 minutes for lunch eaten in the driveway. Brad and his guys were very professional, conscientious, and hard working. I would highly recommendation Frontline Remodeling for any job if you want it a great job, complete on time.

There were no troubles with scheduling. Initially, they came out for the design plan. We had an idea of what we wanted and how we wanted our bathroom to look larger. They wanted to work with us and the plans we already had in mind. From the beginning, we liked them and they worked well with us, so we hired them for the job. The bathroom dated back to the 1940’s. They ended up ripping out the entire old bathroom and installed a whole new one. We did use some of the old sinks, but everything else is brand new. We dealt closely with the owner, Brad Norbut. He was on the job about ninety percent of the time and we appreciated that. They were very prompt. They let us know they would have to start a few days later and we made our arrangements for that. The three crew members were very pleasant to work with, professional, and respectful. They were very good about cleaning up after the job was complete. The job took seven days and it was exactly what they had estimated. We are very pleased with the work that they did.

Our project was quite large. We took 960 SQ FT of basement and completely remodeled it into two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a large sitting area and added two egress windows. Brad (owner) and team were very punctual and professional. Brad was always on site to over see work being done. Brad always responded quickly to any questions we had about the process. Brad really took the time to look at the details of the job and did many small things during the process that he didn't necessarily have to, but he thought would result in a better finished product. He was also very flexible and accommodating when we added small extras for him to do in the middle of the project. The finished product is excellent. I am very particular about the details and I have zero complaints! If you are getting quotes on work, you definitely need to call Frontline Remodeling.

We are pleased to recommend Frontline Remodeling to anyone looking to complete high quality renovations to their home. Brad impressed us immediately with his professionalism and his integrity. We were working with a tight budget to remodel our main bathroom and Brad offered many helpful suggestions to help us create the look we wanted, with the quality we desired, while still keeping costs reasonable. During the remodel Brad and his crew - Doug and Greg were punctual, efficient, and a pleasure to have in the house (Our two dogs loved Doug's bacon treats!) They were always available to answer questions and were excellent about communicating the progress of the job. Each day the work area was left spotlessly clean with the bathroom enclosed to contain any dust. Our remodel was completed on time, within budget, and we couldn't be happier with the result! We would not hesitate to use Frontline Remodeling for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone.

Brad asked me for details about what i wanted done in the basement, explained that he is booked up for the next 4-5 months and didn't want to waist his time. Therefore, he was trying to get as much information over the phone as possible. He asked what my budget was and if I wanted to spend $20,000 to $30,000. When I said I expected to spend less than $20,000 (my basement is already finished and just needs updating) there was this hesitation. Without seeing my basement, he had already decided that it should cost in that range. I insisted that he couldn't possibly know what it would cost without looking at the job. So, he (seemly reluctantly) scheduled an appointment. The entire conversation left me feeling like this would be a bother for him and gave the impression that he is only looking for jobs that will cost over $20,000. After giving it some thought, I decided to cancel the appointment and look for a contractor that is more service oriented.

Response from Frontline Remodeling
In regards to the above review, I am very sorry this customer felt this way. As the owner and operater of my company I do all aspects of my projects. I take all calls, do the estimates, order materials and work at the clients home. Not many companies can say they are that invested in a client’s job. With all of my potential customers, I ask them several questions on the phone before the initial meeting. I want to make sure that the project the customer is looking to do is in my realm of expertise, I am available in the time frame the customer is looking for and the budget the customer has in mind is realistic with what they want to get done at their home. In regards to [member name removed], she was looking at having a basement remodel. After asking my normal questions, I found out she was looking to also do a bathroom in the basement. Adding a bathroom to a basement that the customer said is already refinished is not considered updating for my company. I also asked if she had an egress window, which she did not. It is my policy to pull all permits and follow codes that are put in place for the customers safety. Therefore adding an egress window would add thousands of dollars to the project also. If a customer does not want to have an egress, I unfortunately have to decline the project. I have done many jobs under $20,000 and I have never based my projects on price alone. If you were to call any of my clients they would state that I go above and beyond for all of them and that I am very service oriented. I have an A plus rating on Angie’s list and have never had a negative review.

Brad and his team took our bathroom right down to the studs. We had new drywall, tile floor, bathtub, sink and toilet installed. What a difference that has made! The compliments we receive on Brad’s work have truly reinforced our delight with the changes. He has gone out of his way to make sure we are happy with his work, and has responded quickly and diligently to any questions or issues we had while work was in progress. Our next big job will be a kitchen overhaul, and Brad will be the one we contact to do it. Looking forward to seeing more of his talent in our house someday very soon!
Description of Work: New front windows were added for energy efficiency and lower utility bills. What a great addition to our house! We had originally met with local distributors who wanted to charge us almost double the price of Brad’s work. We decided to go with Brad, since we knew he was trusted and knowledgeable. Also, Brad and his team replaced our old, cruddy linoleum in the kitchen and hallway entry with beautiful porcelain tile.

Brad Norbut of Frontline Remodeling painted the interior of the upper level of our home (app 2,000 sq ft) in 2 days. The orginal estimate was for 5 days however once he realized how disruptive having our main living space covered in plastic was he brought in extra help and painted on Saturday to complete the job in 2 days. He was very responsive, respectfully and professional. I will certainly use him again for any remodeling job.

Brad (the owner) was awesome. Right from the start he was open to any and all ideas that we had for our sun room addition. He helped us work through the pros and cons of all of our ideas until we came up with the size, layout and elevation that was best for our house and for us. He was always available to take our calls or to meet with us. Maximizing the size and space posed a few challenges for us and Brad, but brad was able to make it all work and we are very happy. On this particular job, Frontline was not responsible for the foundation work, but was more than happy to work with my brother-in-law who is a mason. Brad made sure that both of them were on the same page to make sure that the floor lined up with the house's main floor (best I can tell it is perfectly aligned). Even though Brad normally does the complete remodeling down to trim and painting, we wanted to do the flooring, drywall, trim and painting ourselves. Brad had no problem with this at all and was willing to take the remodel to whatever level of completion we wanted. Brad provided a detailed quote that listed the costs associated with all the aspects of building the addition. Of course as we got started I still had some design changes (one of which made the room a bit larger by cantilevering one of the walls). Brad jumped right on it and thought it was a good idea with very little increase in price. The people he brought with him to help were also very professional and were always prompt to start every day. Total time was about 12-13 days of work. Overall we are very happy and would highly recommend Brad and Frontline Remodeling. I don't expect any additional remodeling on this scale, but if we do, Brad and Frontline Remodeling will be the first person I call.
