In 2008 I built a new home. The ground is very rocky, I hired the above co to rouck hound the yard area so I could put in a yard. I was given 4 dates which the work would be done. Each date came and went with no work being done and no phone call to tell me of the delay. I understand weather can play an important part in doing landscape work. Each of my dates were clear sunny days, but the crew was backed up due to other 'rain' days. I was never called to say that the crew would not show up. I never would have hired this crew again. BUT on Mother's Day of this year 2009, my son surprised me with a gift of weed care and fertilization treatments for my yard. He did not know of my bad experience with Scenic Landscape and hired them for these weed and feed treatments. This was 2 weeks prior to Mothers Day - which is in May. They never came to do the treatments, even though I called them several times to ask when they were coming. They finally came the first week in July and could not do the weed treatment since it was too late in the season according to them. So they merely spread fertilizer and charged my son $75. My lot is less than a .33 acre with a home and driveway on it so the yard space is not all that big. My son cancelled the remaining 2 applications. He called Scenic numerous times, his calls were never returned and when he finally got through, Shawn, the owner of the co. was very rude. He was also very rude when I spoke to him after he finally completed this application.
Description of Work: I hired Scenic Landscape in March of 2008 to rock hound my very rocky lot which I had just had a new home built on. The job was done in the middle of June after numerous missed appts. My son hired Scenic Landscape, as a Mothers Day gift for me, to weed and feed my yard - Scenic Landscape never came to complete the frist application until the beginning of July. At which time they said it was too late in the season to apply the weed killer. This again was after numerous missed appts.
