Description of Work: Had them out to give me an estimate for a retaining wall and weekly maintenance for my property. Very professional, very prompt, very pleasant. I probably would have used them for the retaining wall, but I wanted to develop a relationship with someone who might do the maintenance too. The price for the retaining wall was in line with another estimate, but the maintenance proposal....I almost fell off my chair. I presently pay between $80 to $100 per week for mowing and got another estimate for $60 a week which admittedly was at the low end as it is a good size piece of property. Their price was $600 per week for mowing and any additional mowing was another $600. Yes, that's $600. I honestly thought it might be a typo but when they added up the mowing and additional charges at the end of the summary, it was over $30,000.00 for the season. Don't know why this was so disproportionate to the retaining wall estimate.

 + -1 moreWe could not be more pleased !! They were fantastic. Eric Alexander was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We are complete plant nuts and love our trees and shrubs. Most of the trees we planted ourselves years ago and we were initially hesitant although Ray Smith had come highly recommended. They more thank lived up to their reputation. The pruning was excellent and the clean-up amazing. We will certainly use Ray Smith again in 2014.
Description of Work: Pruned and shaped quite a few trees.
