The process and preparation were thoroughly explained. I could not be happier with the result. A new wood floor was installed and stained to match an existing 80 year old wood floor. It is seamless!!!

The representative, John was great and super flexible. He understood the challenge of getting floors done in a co-op building. I think the staff should have been a little more nice but there were issues here with the building and I was clear to get the work done in my new apartment. The floors came out great. I would ask to see stain chips, not from an image. I love how everything came out.

After receiving several estimates to have our floors done throughout our entire home, John from Carpet One was the most professional, respectful and knowledgeable person we met with. There are some interesting â floor guysâ out thereâ ¦thatâ s me putting it nicely. He delivered the estimate to us in the same day- which was amazing considering he came to us late in the day (as requested). He even used an ipad to map and measure the square footage precisely. He left floor samples with us so we could see the floor in different light throughout the day. I was able to easily retrieve additional samples from the show room to which helped us make our final decision. John was patient with us throughout the entire process - we were planning to apply the same floor throughout our entire house .. and as a first time home owners we did not want to rush! The team that installed the flooring worked hard, fast and cleaned up after themselves. They were meticulous.. we had several closets floored and tough angles. The floors were installed about three months ago- the quality is outstanding! Luxury is an understatement. As We continued working on our new home, the floors have been able to withstand spills, drops and moving furniture with no damage. When we had a very minor concern he came by the same day to look at it for usâ ¦ and of course without being asked took his shoes off at the door! We have received so many compliments. they put three coats of poly on and then it still looked like it needed more shine so i asked them to do that which they did but Bill had already put the sander away so he didn't sand that coat but the end result is ggreat!
