well he never came back and thus year 2020 we started calling him in Feb, and March, and April,he said we were 1st on his job list....in May he told us he was to busy and would call us in 2-3 wks...we have never heard from or seen him......i want my $2000 back !! What a CROOK !!

Most unprofessional and rude contractor I've ever encountered. He was doing masonry work for a neighbor, so I asked him to quote my chimney repair. Quoted me, in his words, a "deal" which was about $300, and said he'd call to schedule within the week. The following day, was still at my neighbor's house. The crew asked to borrow my extension ladder, as they forgot theirs. Considering he was giving me a "deal" on my potential job, I obliged by allowing the use of my ladder. The ladder was left on my lawn at end of the day, full of dirt and caked-on mud. Furthermore, after repeated calls to the owner's cell phone (the lack of a business phone should've been a red flag), he finally returned my call 3 weeks later, told me he was out of town on a job, and rudely told me that my job was small, and that I shouldn't expect him to drop everything to attend to my chimney. Obviously, that was my last correspondence with the guy, and he never did follow up after that. Would definitely avoid this contractor for any work. Unprofessional, rude, and cannot be trusted. The masonry contractor I eventually hired for the work did a spectacular job at $150.
