Description of Work: I had the front steps (front stoop) on my house rebuilt using red brick and limestone steps.

+ 1 moreGary responded quickly to my phone call and came quickly to give and estimate, which was on the low side compared to 3 others we got. It was harder to get this estimate in writing. Although we made a verbal agreement to do the work, he didn't respond to my email until the morning his crew showed up - by then it was too late to argue the specifics of the job. Unfortunately, their idea of what the job included did not included everything we had discussed. He asked for an additional $1300 to paint the spots he was repairing, suggesting that the initial estimate didn't include painting. It's my fault for not insisting on seeing the complete proposal in writing. In the end, the concrete and stucco repairs were done adequately. The painting, which was a bit overpriced, in my opinion, was done barely adequately. They didn't use drop cloths and got excess paint in many places. When asked to fix their mistakes, they did as little as possible.
Description of Work: Repaired concrete porch and stairs, including stucco walls. Scraped and painted porch and stairs.
