+ -1 moreHe was on time and very professional and did the work in a very timely fashion. He seemed to know precisely what he was doing. I was very pleased with the speed of joining Angie's List and then the next day the work was done.
Description of Work: painted trim on garage door and went out of his way to paint an area on side of door just to make it fresh and give me my money's worth. He adjusted my door so that it would close and lock. -- PLEASE DO NOT PUT MY STREET ADDRESS IN REVIEW TO THE PUBLIC. OK FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDER TO SEE IT.

Description of Work: Did some work for my Karate School, Sheetrock, plastering, replaced my bathroom faucet and painted the entire area. I am very please and would recommend him for his workmanship,and will call George for future work.

+ -1 moreMy experience using Empire Handyman has been great. George is extremely friendly, kind, and very respectable. He knows what he is doing and no project is too big or too small. He went out of his way to get the materials we needed to do the repairs (like the new door). He was easy to get a hold of and also reliable. He was very professional and didn't slack on the job. George also listened to me and what I wanted, rather than just assuming he knew how I wanted things done (which I have experienced with other handyman services in the past). I paid by the hour, so the cost reflects the time that George spent doing repairs around my apartment. The services were a great price (especially for someone who is licensed) and I felt comfortable with him in my home. I will definitely be using Empire Handyman anytime I need any kind of repair work around the house.
Description of Work: George helped me with various projects around my apartment. He put in a new oven, which involved bringing it up from the basement and taking the old one down. He repaired our broken window, a broken door, put in an entirely new kitchen sink (with cabinets) and also hung fixtures in my room (wall hooks and a drapery rod). He also fixed a closet door and fixed the front of my radiator which wasn't staying in place on its own. George will be coming back to do more work for me including fixing a balcony (re-doing all the wood that is rotting).
