Description of Work: I have used Russell B. Bleakley Plumbing and Heating, Inc. for over ten years. He did all our plumbing work when we finished our basement and installed a new full-bath. His staff is professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and neat. Always, "booties" on the feet before entering and clean-up is impeccable. You pay for quality service and Bleakley delivers every time! I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I would give Angies List an F for this purchase. I wanted two jobs done and purchased Bleakley's services for $200 for $250 in work. I descrbed the two jobs I wanted done. The Angies representative put me on hold. When he got back, he told me that he had contacted Bleakley Plumbing and that they would do both jobs, but that I was not risking anything, because if I did not use Bleakley my AMEX would be credited the $200 I had advanced for the service after 6 mo. I immediately after I agreed to have my AMEX charged I called Bleakley to schedule a date to get an estimate. I described the work exactly as I had done for the Angies representative. Bleakley said that they did not do the type of work I described and would not do either of the jobs. My sense was that the Angis representative wanted to to make a sale presumably to get a commission. I am owed a refund.

Description of Work: We reported that our hot water had a sulfur smell to it and they suggested we replace our anode rod | |We traveled out of town shortly after they completed their work and were called by our house sitter that reported no water pressure | |They had apparently failed to test the water after their work as they had tripped the circuit breaker that thankfully I was able to trouble shoot and correct over the phone | |Attempts to reach them via their so-called 24-hour service hotline were impossible | |$800 work + aggravation failed to correct the foul water smell problem which we reported to them yesterday April 8th | |Their response was basically "tough crap" as the performance of the work is not warrantied | |Referred is back to our water company for testing | |Seriously disappointed with their customer service, responsiveness and the fact that they would charge over $800 for work that doesn't correct the problem and then make no additional effort to remedy | |Will not use this company again | |
