Excellent experience with Designs Unlimited. Very pleased with the job John did with refinishing my deck. I would definitely use them again for interior or exterior., and I would highly recommend them.

John and his team were faced with a very complex job in renovating our large 1927 co-op. The work, attitude, responsiveness and overall quality were exceptional. While the work was completed one year ago, the home looks brand new. I also want to state that we had no complaints from neighbors, despite the long and highly demanding job.

John and his team did a great job, completely replacing a porch and painting the entire exterior of my house. As important was the quality of his work, he was easy to work with, and there was mutual trust (which was well- placed.) Finally, his pricing was very reasonable. I recommend him without reservation.

We had a great experience with John and Steve. As new, first-time homeowners encountering a project that turned out to be bigger than we'd anticipated, we really appreciated the time and care they took to make sure we understood our full range of options, tradeoffs we should consider, and why they were recommending what they were recommending. The quality of work was excellent, they were always highly responsive and easy to get in touch with, and pleasant to work with. When they found unexpected problems, like the fact that the front of our house was about to collapse, they helped us work through options for dealing with this added work in a way that balanced cost concerns with a shared desire to see the problem solved permanently rather than just patched. Since this work, they've spent time with us assessing some other projects we've been considering around the house and helping us build out a long-term plan for how to get the house into the shape we want it to be in. We look forward to working with them again over the years.

As I said above, John Lucchese and his team at Designs Ulimited has been a pleasure to work with. One example I can give is the work they did in our house after a malfunctioning fire sprinkler on the top floor of our house went off and caused damage on 4 floors. John and his team replaced ceilings and walls, lighting and flooring. After they completed their painting, you would have never known what our house had gone through. They made the recovery from a very nerve wracking and upsetting situation as smooth and swift as possible.
